The location of the hotel and the service of the Rebstock team is excellent. The Hotel is on the main street within a short walking distance of cafes, restaurants, a supermarket and the railway station. The hotel and rooms are well presented with clean, well-sized with good amenities (good size bathroom, multichannel English TV, tea and coffee-making facilities). We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant. Communication with the management team was excellent. Thank you very much for returning the sunglasses that we forgot! If we returned to Meiringen (which we'd like to), we'd stay again.

There was nothing that we didnt like. We would have liked the stay more if there was a buffet breakfast service and if the rooms had aircon (we stayed on some very hot days with temperatures in the 30oCs!

Kindness staff who has helpful mind for visitors and enthusiasm for make up more good hotel. I was helping by him throughout my stay period. Single room was enough space and facilities for alone trip. keeping clean the shared toilet and shower room. And location is good! This hotel is located in the main street of Meiringen.

Didn't find the not good points. but, the single room side of the apartment was classic and nothing a lift. I also hope it is renovated for the single room and in the future.

The Rebstock suited us perfectly for a one night stopover on the Via Alpini. The room was very quiet on the back side of the hotel and clean. The bathroom and toilet were also very clean. After reading some other reviews, we think people confused old style with unclean. Yes, the hotel was a little dated but great value for money in a perfect location.

Our only complaint was that there was no signage on the front door to indicate that the reception was around the back so we waited at the tables out the front waiting for reception to open for some time before someone waved us around the corner.

I loved everything about Hotel Rebstock—it is perfect, very clean, quiet, and in a safe area. My room was spacious and comfortable, with big windows to enjoy the beautiful mountain view. The hotel also has fast WiFi and plenty of parking on-site. The location is excellent, only 20 minutes from Interlaken and just a 1–3 minute walk to grocery stores like Migros and Coop.

Excellent location on the main road near facilities. Generally, good value for a private room for a solo traveler. Appreciate the thoughtful room allocation by the young owner for my 5 nights’ stay. It makes a difference. Helpful and friendly staff. The shared bath and toilet are clean.

Basic but you can borrow kettle etc from the hotel. Furniture is rather old. It’s next to main road so expect noise from vehicles.

Location was excellent.

Although I was aware of the shared bathroom before booking it is probably a good idea to book a room with a private bathroom especially if the shared bathroom and shower is for the entire floor. Not sure how many rooms are on the floor (4 or 5). Sometimes you had to wait for the bathroom to be empty.

Excellent hotel. Very friendly staff who were both kind and helpful. We were traveling as a trio on a bike trip through Switzerland and the staff at the hotel went out of their way to make sure we had a good trip. We are thankful for the accommodations and would recommend this hotel to anyone. Would stay here again.

location and its near to bus/train station

they didnt provide any oven or service to heat our food there. as we are travelling from other country, we packed some ready to eat food but not able to make ot bcs of it.

Excellent location. The staff and owner were easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. Breakfast was very good. The room and shared facilities were very clean. The view from the view was stunning. You have a good view of the Schwarzhorn, with the Reichenbach Falls in the distance.

For the price, the hotel met my expectations fully. No complaints.

The staff were super helpful and friendly, helped me keep track of my massive amounts of luggage, served me delicious coffee and have a lovely dog who guards from intruders. Exceptionally good value for money and a beautiful location right by the train station and the Sherlock Holmes museum.

That I couldn't stay longer.
