Stay was comfortable. No issues with the rooms. There are plenty of eateries nearby. It’s a quiet town.

The staff was not available at breakfast counter. Most of the items were empty. We had gone in for a late breakfast, at 9. They had mentioned that breakfast is available till 10. When we reached there was no one. Most of the items were over and there was no one to refill. After ten minutes, a lady came and started cleaning the coffee machine. We mentioned that most items are empty and she just nodded and went about cleaning and arranging tables. We were forced to have some bread and butter and hot chocolate.

The breakfast selection was really good, and the staff always made sure it was fresh and there was plenty of it. The beds were extreamly comfortable, and although they are two beds next to eachother, it was wonderful having a big bed space to myself. The rooms were super clean, and had an mini fridge in the superior double room I had with my Husband, so it meant we could keep drinks and snacks cool. Staff were polite, helpful and welcoming. Only a 10 minuet walk to the gondola which takes you to the ski slops as well as the sledge runs. 100% would go back and will be keeping this hotel saved for future travels

the resturant was not open for dinner while we were there, but the staff gave some excellent recommendations on where to eat outside the hotel.

Very central located, restaurants and shops around. The personal was great, reception people and people in the breakfast room. I had to work for few days and asked if I can get a desk in my room to put my monitor and my laptop, they provided one. I had to extend a booking and there were no rooms available online, but they found a solution for me. Breakfast was excellent. A funny card on the bed with tips for a good sleep and for a good day.

Maybe restaurant for lunch and dinner, although there are other restaurants around.

Very good hotel. Location is good if you have a car and want a star type of trip. We drove to Zermatt, Lugano and Interlacken area and it was very convenient. Street parking is available for 9 CHF per day. Rooms are nice and breakfast is quite good. The hotel locks down at 8:30pm and you need a key to get in. There are only a few restaurants available for dinner on the Main Street.

The hotel was under renovation. We were not told about it and construction started at 8am daily. Workers were just outside our window. The hotel doesn’t have an air conditioning but in October, a fan is fine.

Booked last minute for two nights. Hotel is exactly as shown in images/posts on instagram. The local area was quiet and easy to get around. Unfortunately did not take any photos but do recommend the stay especially if you have a car to drive around to further explore Swiss or don’t mind taking public transport. - welcoming reception staff and all other members of staff also - hotel was clean in general - clean room with enough space - big comfortable bed with two single duvets - good room service - breakfast served till 10.30am and consists of a simple spread - supermarkets local to hotel - train station local and easy to travel around using public transport - hotel parking available but limited and need to ask on arrival

The hotel is located in an interesting location. For thosw who seek the nightlife in front of their door they need to look further. For those who appreciate a quiet location, really big rooms with a good shower and great beds as well as a safe parking location for your care easily accesible look no further in the area. When we were there an old timer event took place and the parking was filled with old Rolls Royces, Jaguars, Mercedes and so on......

Compared to some other locations the breakfast buffet - in itself good enough - could appreciate some extension for critial breakfast lovers.

Nice big bedroom with a great view of the valley. The breakfast was nice as well, and there was an elevator which helped. The hotel is very close to the train station and bus station so that helps a lot to get around. The trains don't run super late to many places though, so keep this in mind if you are staying here without a car and want to explore the full day.

No AC in the room and with the heatwave it was bit annoying. However they did provide a fan and this did help a lot. The TV was quite small and no international channels, but you aren't going to Switzerland to watch TV so it shouldn't be a big issue.

We had an excellent experience at Hotel Dakota! Friendly staff, pleasant, professional, and efficient! They are courteous and always greeting and willing to support! The room was a good size with a balcony and amazing mountain views. There is a mini fridge, Nespresso coffee machine and a safe. They do daily housekeeping and replace towels as needed. Buffet breakfast has a little bit of everything from eggs, cold cuts, cheese, cereals, breads etc. I loved the orange juice maker!!! Hotel is situated in close proximity to all main attractions. They provide an underground parking at 10 Francs per day with access to elevator. Room is tastefully decorated, and they provided us with a king size bed and extra pillows! The front desk tries to help you in many ways. My wife and I loved the hotel and will definitely come back. It was our first visit to Switzerland but will not be the last!

The room was clean with plenty of space the pillow and the bed were comfy. The staff was amicable and helpful. We had to leave early for Jungfraujock so could not eat breakfast. The staff offered to pack a lunch bag for us instead. Public parking was available and we parked for free during our stay. There is a supermarket and restaurants within 5 min walking distance. We didn't have a Swiss power adaptor, so the staff loaned us one. thank you.

The amazing smell you’re greeted with on entering the hotel. Loved how dog friendly the hotel is - provided our dog his own bed, bowl and treat on arrival. Room was very clean with beautiful views from balcony. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Safe and secure underground parking.

No air con - room got very warm at times, despite the fan provided in the room. Would be nice to offer dinner service to make full use of the pretty dining room.
