A very beautiful hotel that looks like a palace or a museum, a step back in time. At the same time, the room we stayed at had a more contemporary look with modern amenities. Also, the space of the room and bathroom were impressive. Breakfast in a beautiful parlour, a really special way to start the day. On top of everything, this hotel is an absolute delight for any Sherlock Holmes fan. It's located right next to the train station and the Sherlock Holmes museum, in which the hotel is mentioned as well.

Amazing, quiet room with free upgrade via Booking.com. Excellent value for money with breakfast and parking included in our room rate. Flexible check-in despite us booking the room at short notice. Great location to explore nearby sights (Aareschlucht, Reichenbachfall, etc)

Breakfast could have been better, especially in choice of eggs, bread and fruits. The hotel would also have more atmosphere if it relied less on large group tours that took up most of the tables in the breakfast room.

We liked the eclectic style and grandeur of the Parkhotel - 1900 Belle Epoque - set in neat grounds in the centre of Meiringen, 5 mins from ther station. Our rooms were spacious and clean, with lovely views towards the Reichenbach Falls (illuminated at night). Reception friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent (as you would expect in Switzerland), with little meringues also provided (in homage to the home of the meringue). Beautiful flowers in the stunning breakfast room.

We were on the 4th floor in the twin aspect family suite. The decor is a little dated (with an 80's vibe), but we thought that actually added to the eclectic charm. Tbh no real complaints.

The location was perfect — just a short walk from the train station and the Sherlock Holmes Museum, with a lovely garden to relax in. My room was spacious, with a stunning view of the waterfalls. The mattress was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful; the only thing I missed was a serving of classic scrambled eggs.

The Wi-Fi on the 4th floor, where I stayed, was quite slow and at times didn’t work at all.

This is a old school fancy hotel but the rooms are fully updated and very nice. The view from our room was extraordinary. Our room was large, the beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom included a big tub. The breakfast was also excellent. There was also a secure bike room.

The WiFi was semi-lousy with random disconnections and reconnections. We waited quite awhile for someone to materialize at the front desk for check-in.

Beautiful classic building, with easy onsite parking. We got a room upgrade and it was incredible: large, comfortable, with plenty of sunlight, a balcony and a view to the mountains. Super clean and modern. Breakfast was amazing. We had a drink with the hotel discount at the Irish pub downstairs and it was super fun, they even had Uno available to play. :) We loved our stay. Definitely coming back!

Very large comfortable space , clean , urban area with many cafes, restaurants and supermarkets close by , covered area will not get wet waiting for your Uber , parking space underground clean private and safe , close to many interesting places.

I am a light sleeper between 3 and 4 am the seagulls will start talking and shrieking, the garbage truck will join them and some how there is talking and laughing that goes with that, it’s life in the city.

The location is amazing with a beautiful view at Reichenbachfall. The style of the hotel is really nice and cosy - for lovers of old style!!!

The was no real separation between the bath and the room, only a glass door that was not closing very good so one could hear everything happening in the bathroom - a little bit uncomfortable.

Very fancy hotel, good location, very good breakfast, friendly staff. Nice and comfy bed and big room with large windows. A lot of light and view on the mountains around.

We had poor wifi connection in our room which was affecting making our travel plans as 4G is very expensive in Switzerland. We made a suggestion to improve the quality of internet in the hotel.
