We had an amazing stay at Frutt Mountain (Lago Lodge)! The hotel was incredibly kid-friendly and baby-friendly, which made our trip so easy and enjoyable. For the kids, there was a game room with a bowling alley, a cinema room, and even Lego plates at the kids’ buffet – such a fun touch! For our baby, they provided everything we needed, including a baby bathtub, baby body wash, diapers, and wipes. At dinner, they even had a special infant chair for babies who can’t hold their heads up yet – we were so impressed by the thoughtfulness. The whole place was spotless and very well organized. The buffet and sit-down dinner were both extremely delicious. The staff made our stay extra special – Lucca, the manager, was incredibly helpful, our server Stefan was wonderful, and the two ladies at the front desk were so kind. Our room had a breathtaking view, as if we were staying right inside a Scottish loch. Walking around the lake and seeing the cows nearby was one of the highlights of our entire trip. We highly recommend this hotel, especially for families traveling with children. We’ll definitely be back!

Nothing - it was a perfect stay!

Perfect location for all kind of skying, no ski pass needed once you are in the hotel, ski school next door. Staff was were polite and always helpful. Clean and modern design. Nice views. Super quiet rooms.

2 things which did not work for us: Ski storage room was not able to dry our ski shoes, so we ended up with wet shoes every morning, even if the rooms seems to have heating is is just not enough for full house Restaurants - always booked, probably this is expected in high season, but the point was that we not able to get into restos even being hotel guests.

We went for a long weekend together with our 1 year old daughter. I can hardly imagine greater location, in the middle of Swiss alps with ski lifts in walking distance. Our room was big, comfortable, really nice and modern. We could see people skiing just couple of meters from our window and our daughter loved it. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed and well taken care of. There are great facilities for children- kids club where we could go to play whenever we wanted, children friendly pools and SPA area, also we found everything we needed for babies in our room- including special bins and place we could change the diaper. At the same time there is also separate SPa area and restaurant only for adults or older kids, so great for people staying without children. I red some critics about hotel restaurants but we ate dinner there both evenings during our stay - food was good, service fast and friendly so definitely no complaints there.

There is not much to complain about. The only comment I can think of: It would be great if there is better availability of family rooms that are a bit more affordable. We wanted to book it for our stay but it would double the price and it was a bit too much for us. I understand, however, that the standard the hotel offers comes with price.

We were there with our 16 months old and we were super well treated and greeted, there was a big play area with staff and lots of choice for all ages of kids. Restaurants and food was excellent, and the view- no words needed. Just amazing

Breakfast choice was rather small. On Sunday though we were offered the option to order crepes, omelette or eggs Benedict, was rather late in our breakfast, but we ordered omelette and crepe and it was good. Is it an option only Sundays or it was missed on Saturday- not sure.

Great Very good location in the middle of nature. Splendid landscape all around the hotel. Quiet and clean hotel. Friendly staff. We eat well there.

Quite hard bedding/mattress. It is very unfortunate that on the website it is not clearly mentioned that the majority of the "wellness spa" part is "textile free zone" because this is not suitable for everyone so you might as well know this in advance to avoid disappointment.

What a location! It doesn't have to be winter for this to be beautiful. We stayed in the non-kids area and it was great. Lovely rooms, good food, amazing location... The spa area was nice as well. The non clothed area has multiple types of sauna, steamcabin and a good area to cool down. If you want to drive up, read the information because it is special. Friendly staff!

It was expensive but seems okish with what you get. Our restaurant reservation was cancelled due to a group and this could have been handled a bit different.

The staff has been amazingly pampering us all the time. We can count on the on everything. The location itself is stunning. Ski in-ski out. We had all we could wish: a stunning view on the mountains, family spa, adults only spa, bowling, cinema, I could even pick my pillow for my neck issues and had the last pizza kept warm in the kitchen before our departure!

The only thing we didn’t like very much was the food, apart from pizzas and kids buffet, those were good. The pizza dough overall was very good. Although the opportunity to eat at 3 different restaurants in the resort and also the caring staff, which accommodated us very well once we asked for a faster service, adults food was not so good, we mostly had meat dishes. Pizzas and kids buffet were good. The best adult food we had was the short rib. Thumbs up to that! I would suggest offering generous buffets for adults too, it might help.

The staff are very professional and cooperative. The area is secluded and beautiful. I would rate this hotel\resort as 5 stars.

Driving up the mountain is very risky for ordinary driver. The gondola closes at 5:20pm so if you want to leave your car in the station and use the gondola to go all the way up to the resort you have to come earlier than that time. All the restaurants in the resort closes at 9.30 pm so keep that in mind. After 9 pm there are nothing to do for families because everything closes at 9.

This is probably the most beautiful place in Switzerland we’ve been to. Very nice rooms with amazing views (even the mountain view), excellent breakfast, very kind personnel always helpful, many options for eating, all very good (especially the Titschli), lovely bar lounge with a wonderful pianoman singing in the evenings (thank you G D Angelo for the enchanting after dinner music), fabulous spa and very good kids spa too (enjoyable by parents as well), not to mention the incredible scenery surrounding the place, and really good ski school. Just an amazing place thank you all!

What’s not to like, it’s all fabulous!

The staff were friendly and professional, the bed was comfortable and the location was great. Breakfast was excellent

The room was unbearably hot with duvets designed for winter. The window was opened on request but that only made a marginal difference. It was a pity that the window was quite dirty as the view of the lake was terrific. The food was ok but quite limited and quite expensive.
