Fantastic staff. Kudos for sweetness, charm and professionalism. Normal CH YH breakfast-plentiful and delicious. Room bright and airy. Fan for daytime as nights were cool enough. Lovely women from Austria, Germany and France sharing . All there for the Film Festival. comfy bed. Individual Showers and toilets immaculate. Lovely outdoor patios in front and back. Lots of places to relax on property. Walking distance to the bus stop and centro Historico where restaurants abound as well as Coop, Aldi and Lidl. Beautiful walk back post midnight or later. Socket above the bed in the box for valuables instead of by the door and sink. Light above bed did not function. Wish I could have more flexibility with nights as the Film Fest publishes a couple of months before and YH booking requires in advance.

This was a great youth hostel, pretty good as they come. Staff were amazing to help with laundry and good recommendations around the town and Ticino in general. Not overly busy which was nice, and the facilities were all available throughout the day. Breakfast was a good spread and you can eat it outside on the terrace which is a nice way to start the day. Location is slightly out of town so its a few minute walk to the centre, but there are bus stations nearby from which you can get almost anywhere and the reception are incredibly helpful on where to go and how. Parking is also great, but book in advance as there aren't many spots.

There is no air con or fans, so you have to get creative with your windows to generate any airflow - I was lucky there were only 2 of us in our room, otherwise the humidity would have been ROUGH. That is the only downside though.

This was the perfect place to stay while hiking in Valle maggia. It suits us perfectly as we could self cater and eat our own food at the outdoor dining area in the garden. The staff are always very helpful and the rooms very clean and tidy. We appreciated that this accommodation enabled us to get the Ticino Ticket which we used extensively for buses and trains in Ticino.

Position was very good! Close to the bus stop that lead everywhere. Very comfortable bed and toilet very clean. Super breakfast included, didn’t expect!! Super dog friendly, I was with my dog and he was very very welcome !!! Loved it

Fan was all the way up on the wall, had to climb a chair to turn it on, the remote was nowhere to be found.

There was no air conditioner in the room, making it very hot and causing a lack of oxygen.

Everything I expect from an HI hostel really. Particularly liked the dinner option in the evening and breakfast in the morning, which is a good money-saver. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable.

It was mess with check in. We made to different reservations. One of it canceled, but in the system of hostel it still was it… very poor dinner, better to go outside
