The breakfast was the highlight. The personal were friendly and asked me personally what to drink. The variety of the food served were more than what I need. The place is near to the old city, but also to the central station. When you need a room only to sleep, this place is right for you. In the room you have one bed, one desk and one chair. Also there is a small washbasin and a place to hang your jacket. But the room serves nothing more than functionality.

The reality that only 1 shower room for all 3 floors in the hotel was not really pleasant. I am lucky that there were only few guests on my first 2 days. On the last day of my stay, there were a lot of guests so I decided to wake up early to avoid queuing for the bathroom. The hotel is not accessible for wheelchair. Eventhough it has lift for the 2nd to 4th floor, you have to take the stairs from the 1st to 2nd floor.

Excellent breakfast. Female manager does an excellent job of looking after everybody. Room was perfectly acceptable. Didn't mind the arrangement of having a small shower in the corner of the room plus a basin and then there was a single toilet elsewhere on the floor for all guests on that floor. Particularly liked the reading light - it was in the right position on the wall over the bed and it was a nice bright light. No problems reading or writing in this room. The self service digital check-in at the front door worked.

The specifications for the hotel say that it has an elevator. However that elevator only goes from reception on the first floor to the floors above. You first have to get your suitcase up fairly narrow spiral staircase from the front door on the ground floor to reception on the first floor. Staff do assist.

Welcoming, comfortable, old-style in a good way, great breakfast. Refrigerator in room. Hair dryer by request at the check-in desk.

it was really nice. clean, nice breakfast, the lady on the phone was very polite and helpful. it's located in the centre of the city and this was a huge bonus. the room is very little but very clean, bed was comfortable so overall i will come back here next time in st gallen!

Location was fantastic - minutes walk from much of central St Gallen, and great for us as we came for the Euro 2025 tournament. Quite busy outside, but with windows closed there was no noise

My room waa facing the street so noisy at night. Towel too small. No hairdryer in room but you can get one yourself from reception.did not see any staff at all.

Central location near the market. Basic but clean and tidy with a simple but well stocked breakfast selection.

Unmanned automated reception caused problems at check in. More en suite options would be good

Good location, just 10 minutes walk from the St. Gallen Station. Also close to the Cathedral and Abbey Library. Check-in machine was easy to use and you will get a detailed instruction of how to use it beforehand. The lady at the reception and breakfast room was so friendly and kind that she gets out of her way to ask if the guests are okay. She also helped us to bring down our suitcases when we left. The room was clean and modern. Wide selection of food including fruits and vegetables available for breakfast. Water kettle and tea ready in the room. Overall had a comfortable stay.

Would be great if there were a dryer and more light in the room. The elevator operates only from the first floor so it should be troublesome if you arrive out of check-in time and have to bring up heavy luggage from the ground floor on your own. I guess the lady at the reception will nonetheless help you when she's available.

All was excellent. The out-of-hours check-in was straightforward, the lady at reception in the morning was very welcoming and friendly, the room was comfy and the breakfast had several options.

The only thing I didn't factor in when I booked was that being in a very central location, it can be a bit noisy around on a Saturday night. But overall, I was happy with my stay there.
