Location is good. Buffet breakfast offers a variety of Asian and English food. My son has peanut allergy and the restaurant staff was very helpful and gave suggestions to what he can eat.

The room is a bit small but it was okay. Taipei was affected by the earthquake which struck Taiwan on the morning of 03/04. There was no evacuation instructions or staff present to direct guests to escape the hotel safely. There was no alarm sounded.

I like the proximity of their location to MRT Station and different tourist attractions.

Our room is not that clean. It’s dusty. I hope they check the room first because customers deserve a clean room for the pricey rate they’re paying.

The location is great, close to the train line and great, so it was really easy to get around. However, the hotel is rather dated and the rooms were so dusty, thankfully we were barely in our rooms.

The rooms were really dusty, and looked run down. The fridge was not turned on, so it had a smell, no one ever dusted behind the fridge either. The corners and the bed head looked were never dusted, so I had to clean it myself. The hotel is extremely busy, and the lifts could not cater for the amount of people at the hotel. So this was the most annoying aspect as you had to wait a long time before getting on. So if the lift opens at your level, just get in.

visited taipei w my mum, and stayed in this hotel for 7 nights. i was initially worried given some mixed reviews i read online, but i ended up really enjoying my hotel stay here! the hotel is situated right at wanhua TRA, and a short walking distance from longshan temple metro station. so when heading over from taoyuan airport, when i reached taipei main station by the taoyuan airport metro, i changed to the taipei main station TRA and took one stop to wanhua TRA, and reached the hotel completely sheltered (it was raining that day). i think the hotel is nearby residential areas, and there’s a whole street of clothing stores, and a morning market nearby (sanshui jie), and a night market at night which seems rather happening even with locals. the hotel’s a short walk from longshan temple metro on the blue line and very easily accessible to ximen and other areas. it’s also near a small carrefour (at dali street), as well as walking distance to a bigger 24/7 carrefour at guilin (which is pretty near ximen already). the hotel comes with a gym with many treadmills which look quite new, which i used most days. only downside was i stayed on a higher floor, and needed to change lifts to get to the gym (on the 8th floor), but this is just a minor inconvenience. hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, both the housekeeping staff and the front desk. i stayed in a twin room, rooms were big enough for me to put two luggages. the tv was facing the sofa, but it could swivel out and face the bed as well, which is really good! there was no wardrobe, but a place to hang clothes next to the sink. there was both a bathtub and a standing shower area. i didn’t make use of the bathtub though.

hotel is very busy though, and there were two days when the staff couldn’t complete housekeeping before i returned to the room in the afternoon, but it was ok as the staff quickly helped to change our towels and clear our trash. the compartmentalised bathroom took a while for me to get used to, and in the shower there was no place to hang my clothes. so i put it next to the bathtub.

The hotel is quite clean and well-maintained, and is in an excellent location adjacent to a Taipei MRT line as well as being situated in a vibrant and interesting neighborhood. The rooms are well designed and provide all modern conveniences, and the beds are comfortable. The hotel offers self-check in and check out, and the staff were quite helpful and accommodating when needed.

The hotel is popular with tourists, weekenders, and tour groups, including large groups of young people (school-age teens). This gives it an air of chaos at times, and the elevators seem to be in constant use, making it challenging to get from one’s room to the lobby or vice versa in any kind of efficient or timely way. I doubt anything can be done about it, though; it’s just a fact, and something to be prepared to deal with. The breakfast buffet is not very appealing, though there are many options available. I just found it wasn’t worth US$15.

The location is very good. Just on top of Wanhua (万华）Station, and few minutes walk to Longshansi Station (龙山寺站).. The 3 single bed room is clean, new and comfortable, is suitable for families stay.

This was the first time I booked a hotel room from booking.com. A few days before I reached Taiwan, credit card fraud was conducted in Taiwan to my credit card, which I registered in the booking.com, someone performed unauthorised transaction with the card. This fraud caused us to use cash all the time when we stayed in Taiwan. I noticed that the hotel website offered some promotions that were applied to Taiwan citizens only. The price we obtained from booking.com was 50% more expensive than that promotion, and no meals were included. While the offers included free gifts and meals. Why so strange, the hotel's offers were not applied for foreign guests?

Big fully serviced hotel with all the amenities you need in a great location. If you’re just arriving in Taipei for the first time, it’s a great location as it’s not in the super busy thick of it and it allows you to ease into your trip. It’s very handy having wanhua station literally next door and then longshan station is less than 5 min walk away. Great food options in every direction, including Guanshou street night market for a smaller, more local experience than some of the bigger more touristy night markets. If it wasn’t so hot, I think it would be walking distance to the ximen area but definitely not when we stayed in July.

Reception staff are polite but it’s not a super personalized experience.

Buffet meals including breakfast were excellent with great variety. Spacious room. Staff friendly & efficient.

Room: Got upgraded to a mini Suite and it was a decent size and well maintained suite with a lovely bathroom with a bath tub overlooking the city. Rooms are nice size and clean and had a great Taipei City view. Value for money too. Did not eat at the hotel restaurants or called in room service as was just a night stay and plenty of good local Taiwanese food all around the hotel. A short 10-15 min drive from Taipei Main Station at peak traffic time.

The front desk/reception staff were not warm, totally indifferent to the long wait to check in, did not bother to call or assist while themselves not being busy with other patrons. Probably pretending to be busy in their computers. The client-first attitude is totally missing. Surprisingly while 1-2 staff were busy the other and the duty manager just did not care to assist. Also no common loyalty program association.

The hotel is near the Longshan Temple station, within a 3-minute walk. The hotel staff were friendly. Regarding the hotel facilities, the room was quiet and well-equipped with good facilities. There were many channels available on the TV.

The presence of homeless people in the area made me feel unsafe, especially if I were returning to the hotel late at night. However, this issue was not related to the hotel itself. And, it would have been better if the staff spoke more English.
