Location is superb. I am able to get around taipei via public bus too. Hostel is opp Q square mall. Surrounded by 7 eleven etc and many eatery. They have very nice breakfast cafe at the hostel at level 1, pls visit them they have many nice stuffs. Both staff at the hostel and cafe are friendly and helpful too. They have bookstore cafe too. There is a lift in the hostel but there are some rooms which may need to take the stairs instead. Common areas and toilets are quite clean. The shared room which I was assigned to has a tiny window and natural sunlight. My phone was damaged during mountain trip. Staff provided support by helping to find nearest repair shop. A big thank you to whoever you are.

They do not practice daily cleanliness. As of what I heard from the staffs conversation, they did not clean the room for 2 days. 😅 Strongly suggest them to clean it daily or alternate days for shared room like basic sweeping and mopping will be good. I did not know there is a water dispenser located at level 2 till one day I decided to walk down the stairs.

The hostel is easily accessible from Taipei Main Station and Zhongshan Metro and offers a lot of options for food and shopping around the area. They give out vouchers for breakfast to be used to offset expenses made at the breakfast store at level 1. I love the breakfast options. Although they do not have staff available at the counter round-the-clock, I was able to reach the staff to help me at in the wee hours of the morning when I locked myself out of the room stupidly. Kudos to the friendly staff for answering my call!

The hostel offers check-in services till 9pm and since I knew I would arrive late into Taipei, I had to book myself into a different accommodation for the first night.

Near to the MRT station, easy to move around. It’s always my go-to when I have to stay in Taipei. The room has high-quality bedding ! even the carpet is so comfy, I’ve fallen asleep on it a few times.

I stayed in a double room with a shared toilet last time, and this time I tried a deluxe double room a private bathroom, also with an attached balcony and back courtyard. To be honest, I didn’t use either—perhaps because it’s summer, hot and humid, and there are bugs outdoors. This room was more isolated from the facilities and common areas. The staircase leading to the room is relatively narrow. The room seems to have been renovated from an older space. The bathroom is smaller, and the showerhead is not adjustable, which made it less convenient to use compared to the shared bathroom.

The location very good. All the famous spot are nearby.

I stayed at this hostel during our recent trip (4 bed in a room with private bathroom), and while it has some positives, there are a few things that could be improved. First, the noise cancellation is quite poor. You can clearly hear people talking in the hallway or common areas, which makes it hard to rest or sleep. The bathroom design isn't very practical — the entire floor gets wet when you shower, and there's no dedicated space to put essentials like a toothbrush or toiletries. Also, the table in the room takes up quite a bit of space. Removing it could make the room feel more open and make it easier to lay out luggage. Overall, it’s a decent place but could benefit from a few thoughtful changes.

The location is very good as it is walking distance to the Taipei Main Station, eateries (e.g. sushi, fried chicken and many more) and convenience stores (Family Mart/7-11), as well as the Ningxia Night Market. I liked that the breakfast voucher which is redeemable at the cafe adjoining the hostel could be stacked and used as "cash" (voucher has NT$50 value) instead of redeeming 1 of 3 sandwiches (apple-tuna, egg, BLT). The sandwiches (apple-tuna, BLT which I tried) are delicious! There is a nice kitchen/dining area with water dispenser. The room is on the small side but it was cozy and comfortable. I think I prefer the single ensuite room (no balcony) as compared with the double room (with balcony) in terms of size and layout. The ensuite toilet-washroom for the single ensuite room (no balcony) comes with a full size sink unlike the double room (with balcony) which comes with a small sink.

The single ensuite room (no balcony) I checked into was on level 4 and there is no elevator. The tap at the sink is connected to the telephone shower hose. Whilst this in itself is fine but one has to remember to switch the telephone shower back to the tap or risk getting an unwanted shower when one wants to use the tap/sink.

The location is very convenient, close to most public transport as well as Taipei Main station. Room is on a smaller size however it's quite comfortable and cozy, might be complicated with bigger luggage. Staffs are helpful and check in instructions are clear. Breakfasts shop down the hostel is really good and the hostel provide breakfast voucher that can be used there. Big common space where you can have meal there with a bookstore beside.

The water had seeped through the bathroom and the floor is actually wet right outside the bathroom while we arrived. Due to the hostel is fully booked they are not able to change another room for us however the staff provided us another towel to put on the floor upon request. Might required more maintenance works before checking guests into the room.

Located between Taipei Station and Songshan Station, it's also quite near the bus station (if you plan to take a bus to and from the hotel to the airport), it has a cafe so you can use the breakfast vouchers to have breakfast here. The shared pantry is linked to a bookstore. Room is clean and spacious.

Showerhead directed at toilet area, making it very wet after showering, sometimes the toilet paper will also be wet, unless you roll it up beforehand. Basin area small, difficult to place stuff such as toothbrush/toothpaste/facial cleanser if there's more than one adult.

Location is excellent! It is easy for us to travel anywhere we like using metro. The place was super clean, there is staff cleaning the bathroom everyday. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast options were great and affordable (if you order something more expensive than your breakfast voucher).

There is bidet in the bathroom in the first floor but not in the 3rd floor where my room was located. A bathroom/toilet without a bidet is quite inconvenient. I hope the breakfast place/cafeteria has an option for coffee in their drink menu.

I stayed for 10 days in a basic double room (314) with own bathroom. Room looked exactly like the one showed in the hostels description. Bed was very comfortable, big window and a smaller window that could be opened. I never had any issues with noise from the rooms around. AC works great. Plenty of power sockets. Its a small room but has everything you need. Location is very good with only a few minutes walking to Taipei main station (Airport Express and other MRT Lines) and Zhongshan Station (Red and Green Line MRT). The Bulding is beeing kept well and has a very nice common kitchen with all the amenities you could think of.

As others mentioned, the shower hose is attached to the bathroom sink which is kind of weird and not the most convenient solution. It wasn't a big deal for me though. What really surprised me was that despite the very nice common area guests didn't seem to want to interact with others. I have spent more than half a year in hostels in the past and always met interesting people from all over. Here however, most guests sitting in the common area where busy starring at their mobile devices and only on rare occasions someone greeted back. This obviously is not the fault of the hostel but I still wanted to mention it. I have met great people during my time in Taipei, but none of them at the hostel besides the very friendly lady during check in and check out.

Large hostel that is professional and did everything you needed. The room was very small but organised well with the bed in a loft space so it is quite close to the roof if you are a little claustrophobic. It still had room for a sofa and the bathroom was clean and tidy.

The staff were professional, and the place had everything you want from a hostel but the place did lack a bit of soul. Breakfast wasn't technically included....but you got a discount off the breakfast menu. You could order in a way that made it free but that was limited.
