The Hotel has upgraded certain parts of its rooms over the past year. While it still has some way to go to be fully upgraded, I think they are headed in the right direction. Breakfast is average at best coz its outsourced; some days are better than others depending on your tastes.

Independent room temperature control still seems a little off. You can still hear neighbouring rooms shutting their doors, The Room Safe was in very weird and rather inaccessible part of my room - perhaps it was temporary and due to the 'upgrading'.

The location is amazing. Right next to MRT that is only a few stops from every popular/busy place (Ximen, Taipei Main Station, Dongmen, etc). Plenty of cafes, shops, restaurants and convenience stores located nearby, and a couple of small but beautiful parks. The room has nice facilities and beautiful style. The staff at reception were very helpful especially after my first room was not up to scratch, they moved me into a better room for no extra charge and no problem. And the price is exceptional for the place/location.

The first room was a bit smelly and clearly had damp/mould issue, the place looks really old (although they were doing refurbs when I was there, although that was also quite noisy)

The location of this hotel was great. As a female solo traveler, this was a couple day layover from the US. I felt very safe and the hotel was very quiet at night. The staff was friendly, especially the housekeeping manager. She was very sweet and helped me with anything I needed. They had coffee available with a park across the street. Many things were walkable and the city is very safe and well lit so it is easy to walk from place to place Thank you again to the hospitality of the housekeeping manager!

The hotel was slightly basic with older amenities however for the price, that is to be expected.

First of all, the room was very spacious. The decor was quite retro, but in a charming and pleasant way. The room was clean, and the overall setup was perfect for both leisure and business trips. The location was excellent, and the front desk staff were all friendly and helpful.

Only stayed overnight, didn't really check out many of the facilities.

Near mrt, vegetarian food in front hotel is good, there is a park near hotel so i can do some pull up or jogging

Sorry to say night staff woman not very nice the way she speak not elegant but morning staff woman is very nice and friendly i think is good that management hotel have her because the front woman is the key!

I enjoyed my stay here! Very near train station and the staff were very friendly and helpful! Plus the Breakfast is free and a good portion! Wow A must for solo, or family traveling!

Great location, clean bed, sheet, pillows. Overall, it’s a hotel worth recommendation.

Obviously, dust can be seen on the corner floor and wall belts. One of the towels comes with a blood stain. However, with the price, all the above can be neglected.

Hidden gem, lovely place with great staff. Late checkout and airport transfer were easy to sort at reception. The team there were very accommodating. Great location, lots of good places to eat and explore nearby.

The room smelled like bleach, good that it had been cleaned but the smell was extremely strong and it didnt feel like the room had been aired out properly.

The location is very convenient and the price is fair given the size of the rooms.

The building is a bit old and dusty, the staff couldn't provide power adapter
