It's central to everything. Although the MRT station is a bit of walk. We took taxi/uber most of the time. Bus station is right across the street, took it one time to go straight to National Palace Museum which was convenient. There is a famous night market within 5 to 8 min walk, went couple times, very nice. The hotel breakfast has nice spread. The restaurant is well maintained. Props to that. The hotel itself looks very dated, it's not a 4 star hotel...maybe 3 or 3.5 at best. We got the triple room which is roomy for 3 of us. The restroom, we can see some metal rusts in the corner. Overall, good average stay.

The one of the staff at the front desk was ok except a gentle man with green polo shirt was very very nice. He answered all questioned I had. He was very professional. He greeted every customer with kind word. He made sure customers fell welcome. 20 mins walk to a Japanese mall ( Mitsukoshi mall) 10 min walk to night market.

Bed was too hard to sleep. The hotel isn’t close to main station like other reviews said. I had to take a cap from main station to the hotel.

Everything was perfect! So lucky to have chosen this hotel for our 4night stay! Location was great, only 5-7mins walk from MRT station, transpo system Is amazing in taipei so you can easily access anywhere you wanna go. Staff shown top tier service, everyone was polite helpful and very pleasant to deal with. Kudos to the entire team. Breakfast was sufficient and has variety. More on location: has starbucks beside, and carrefour across. 5min walk to A night market. My mom and I really enjoyed our stay!

Location and staff helpful and friendly. Great size room. Location is great fir shops and markets. MTR 5 mins walk and taxis easy enough to get and cheap. Uber operates here. Starbucks right next door.

Breakfast as there wasn't a great variety. They would not make me an alternative to boiled eggs. Needs a bit more variety for those who like eggs for breakfast. They ran out of a number of things and I had to ask a few times for them to obtain some more food. Fruit choice wasn't good.

Hotel near restaurants, metro and all you need. Very friendly staff and excellent size of room

Stayed here for 5d/4n and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Got upgraded to a triple room from twin room and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The building facade is historical, looks beautiful and full of character. Location: Bus stop right in front of hotel, Daqiaotou MRT within 5 mins walk, Ningxia night market, Dihua Street and the Dadaocheng Cisheng Temple food street all within walking distance. Very convenient to go to Ximen or Taipei Station via bus or MRT. Carrefour just across the street. So convenient! Really love the location of the hotel in this part of town as opposed to the busier Ximen area. Room: Clean and comfortable beds, soft, fluffy pillows. Good view from the window. Spacious toilet with bathtub and a separate enclosed shower area. Japanese style toilet seat was really a welcomed addition. Although the room was facing the main road, the sound insulation was fairly good and we had good sleep every night. Breakfast was slightly repetitive but it was delicious and we were never tired of it. Carpet could be cleaner but slippers were provided.

PS: Wish there was a light switch to just on the bathroom light instead of together with some lights in the bedroom area as the elderly would like to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, without waking others by turning on both the bathroom lights and bedside lights together. We solved this issue by plugging the table lamp in the bathroom.

Nice comfortable rooms and property located in good location . There is Starbucks below the hotel and night market is walking distance . Taipei main station is just 10 mins drive from property . Hotel is clean and beds are separate but joined together and comfortable . Staff is polite and helpful . Overall very good experience . Value for money

Stains on walls here and there a sits an old property but well maintained

Nice hotel with spacious room and bath room. Really fabulous bed. Fabulous neighbourhood with street food market around and many merchants. Supermarket across the street and many restaurants in the neighbourhood. The staff was very kind to us, especially when we arrived. Parking in the basement.

Moist had attacked the room underneeth the window in the room and it should have been cleaned up and painted

The location of the hotel was quick and easy for utilizing public transportation. The breakfast was generous, with a wide selection of foods. There was even a Starbucks on the first floor! The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was well stocked and even included a bathtub.

Everything was great; the most impressive thing was the breakfast. The rooms we used were spacious and clean and had a stable WiFi connection. The location was also good, just 10 minutes walk from the subway. I highly recommend it!
