The room was nicely furnished. The amount of space of the suite for the price was a good value. Cleaning staff make up the room every day. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the nearest MRT station but there are many nearby bus stops connecting you to the rest of the city.

There is no staff on the property for the most part, but they are attentive on Booking.com’s messaging system and will respond quickly to any concerns.

We were especially happy with how helpful the staff was. Although it is an automatic check-in and check-out, the staff is always there ready for help. We wanted to extend our stay, they were super helpful in arranging it. We needed to do laundry as we stayed for a long time, they told us we can do it free-of-charge at the hotel. They were patient at each stage. For example, when we needed a special invoice they patiently listened and solved the issue within some hours.

It was a little bit noisy in the mornings due to the construction nearby. But that’s not something they can control.

The hotel was such a pleasant surprise. The AI check-in made everything so quick, and I was checked in in less than 3 minutes upon arrival. The cleanliness is of a five-star standard, with cleaning staff present every day to clean the halls, rooms, and restock supplies in the hall, such as deli cups, chopsticks, spoons, etc. (They have numerous thoughtful touches for guests at the entrance.) The rooms are incredibly comfortable, with cloud-like mattresses that allowed me to sleep so well. The bathrooms are equipped with Japanese-style controls, including a heated seat. I would return in a heartbeat. The next time I travel to Taiwan, I’ll definitely be booking here again. It’s so central, with plenty of shops and food markets nearby, and it’s the perfect place to relax after long days of exploring beautiful Taiwan.

No complaints at all - Everything went perfectly

The hotel Is conveniently located with both the main station and Dihua street at walking distance. Rooms are clean and comfortable with a Japanese style heated toilet. The bed is comfortable enough. Check in is automatic and guests can communicate with an interphone, where an invisible receptionist provides a password for the elevator that takes to the room: The process is quite efficient even though impersonal.

The entry is not immediately visible since the hotel does not have a main street entrance. There is not a common toilet for guests who have already checked out. The main hall is situated at the first floor and doesn't offer any service but a small sofa and water dispenser. It feels quite a bit impersonal and unremarkable.

Woman who helped me check in was so nice. Room was clean and comfortable, location was good (close enough to transport and shopping/dining but quiet enough to not feel crazy). Close to several bike shops and the riverfront path. Bike friendly in that I was allowed/encouraged to keep my bike in my room. Rate was reasonable, and not overinflated on the weekend like many other budget places.

Elevators are tiny, so I had to upend my bike to get it in. This was listed as a bike friendly property and it was definitely accommodating, though there was no place to clean/wash the bike before I packed it up for my flight.

the smell was pleasant after stepping out of the elevator as well as the quietness and soft music -- a relief from the outside urban cacophony. the ability to control the room AC, the ease of machine check-in the high quality sheets and pillow, great shower with good pressure hot water. The location was good --a great coffee shop across the street, Night Market was nearby. Walkable from Main Train Station

no clock--the one on the phone was not readable at night nor on the correct time, the street traffic noise was a little bothersome until about 11 PM. no available electrical outlet near the bed, about 6 glowing indicator lights lit up the room at night--I had to unplug the TV. Upon arrival confusion about the location of entry door and how to access the elevator.

With the sale, the price was unbeatable. The shower and the bed were both very good. There was a fridge and a sitting area in the room, very much appreciated for a longer stay. The staff were friendly. Every day, we got fresh towels, 2 small bottles of water, and the room made-up. The area is very picturesque (old Taipei) and walking distance to Dihua Street, Ningxia night market, Zhongshan station (department stores, green and red lines) as well as Daqiaotou (orange line).

Check-in was slowed down by the automated machine they use, which didn't work. But the lady who helped us was friendly and efficient. The WiFi was slow and dropped out sometimes. I would not rely on it to do serious work. There were a few bad smells coming out of the plumbing. The area is slightly noisy (normal for a lower floor in central Taipei)

I expected something more average but actually this place is an excellent value for your money. The room was large enough and the bathroom was one of the best I have found travelling around Taiwan. The location was quite good even if not the top. The cleaning was daily and the room was quite silent, in spite of being on the first floor.

Basically is an hotel with no reception. You need to check in and check out with an e-system so you can't establish a real contact. Apart from this everything went smoothly.

I stayed for 7 nights. The location is excellent for visiting Taibei as a tourist. Some attractions are within walking distance and MRT and bus stations are nearby. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The mattress was good. Breakfast was not offered but there are countless options in the neighbourhood. The coffee at Ferry Coffee on the other side of the street was pretty good.

Don't forget earplugs - it's in the city!
