- Very good location with 7-11 next door. Cross the road and you can enter Underground Mall at Z10 - Spacious for such a prime location - Bed is clean - Can control aircon (aircon is a little noisy) and has fan in room - Like the wood floor - Windows can open and the next building is quite a distance

- Corridors are dim - Hotel gives you a key and a huge wooden block (10cm) - Room looks old (70s, 80s look) and the bathroom ceiling is mouldy - Not very noise proof, you can hear the neigbours - Fridge is not working - Wardrobe smelly musky but ok after doors are open for a while

The staff were wonderful. Great customer service and very patient and helpful when we had trouble paying. The room was big, it was clean, the WiFi works well. The water is very high pressure, the hot water is hot. TV is big and good (English language channels too). There's a good bath! I've stayed in hundreds of hotels and never get good baths! It's close to loads of stuff, the immediate area has good shopping and good dining. (The price good and appropriate for the standard. If you want a new 4* hotel, pay the price and don't moan about not getting 4* quality in a 2* hotel). The staff are most definitely 4* hotel standard. They are kind and patient, and there if you need them.

The room is spacious, has good water pressure, and the staff doesn't speak English but they're very nice. People complained about the big key chain, but for me, it's actually better for it to be big in order to not lose it.

There is almost no soundproofing, I can hear the one next door and every sound in the hallway - not recommended for light sleepers. It was not that cold when I visited so I did not test the heating system (not sure if they even have one), but the gap under the door is wide enough for the cold to slip in.

Bed (just the right firmness) and linens (high thread count cover and down duvet) were really good. I’d say the quality of the bedding rivals big American Chains such as the Hamptons Inn, but this is just a local hotel in Taipei. 40 (or 50?) inch Philip flat screen with all the channels you’d need. Drains not disgusting and smelly. Bathroom is not mouldy. Water pressure is good and the water is very very hot. It’s a very old place but it has been modestly updated and maintained. I love the flooring because I have allergies. This is the first stay I’ve had in Taipei that didn’t make me eyes and nose teary/itchy every day. Didn’t think it’s possible at this price point.

Sound proofing was poor, however guests were pretty quiet past 11pm.

Near to Airport MRT and Taipei Main Station, convenient for those depends on public transport to travel around. Staffs are friendly. I left my luggage to them after checkout and collect at evening, they allowed that which easier for me to go around without carry our luggage everywhere.

it is so convenient, you can reach to MRT and bus station within 5 mins, there is 7/11 store next to the hotel. hoteliers are so friendly. Even though they can't speak English very well, they try to communicate with us by GG translate.

air conditioner can't adjust temperature so the room is always cold. I couldn't turn it off when I go out,

Toothbrushes, face towels and disposable towels were provided. Soap and water heater also provided. Very neat and spacious for a 2-star hotel. It exceeded our expectations.

No bidet. Quite hard to wash up after you use the lavatory since the comfort room is big.

The location is just 3 minutes' walk to Taipei main station which is very convenient. However, the room is very cold and no extra blankets that they can provide. They should also change their blankets to new one.

Great Value for money. It's an old hotel but well kept and well maintained. The room has everything i needed as advertised. Superb location just by the taipei main station

The location is very good, near to Taipei Main Station. Surrounded by lots of places to eat. Staff helpful, found early morning taxi driver. Rooms a good size. Bed comfortable. Working lift.

Inside rooms with no natural light. Unreliable hot water.
