Great value for money hotel in the city centre. Very close to MRT exit. Spent 6 nights here, was the best hotel we stayed at in Taiwan. Housekeeping only comes if requested by simple switch on your room. Offered extra service of having popular bakery/ pastry goods delivered to the hotel, so you don't have to buy and lug around heavy boxes of pineapple cakes yourself. Good sized rooms, staff very friendly and helpful. Good, supportive mattress. Really appreciated the use of free washing machines. Appreciated the quiet air conditioning and the effort to dampen noise from the streets as I am someone who can't fall asleep with loud noises around me.

Not a fan of their pillows but this is a minor quibble. Shower experience not consistent. Basically, during peak bathroom usage, if someone in another room flushes the toilet, expect the water to get really hot. But water pressure is good and didn't really detract from our enjoyment staying at this hotel

Hotel was a short and convenient 5-min walk from Taipei Main Station (Airport Express). Ground floor facilities include a toilet, water dispenser (hot and cold water), as well as washing machines and dryers (and even washing detergent powder!). Lobby area also has free coffee (machine) and other items such as combs/shower cap (on request). You may also keep your luggage at the front desk/lobby area if you arrive early (before 3pm check-in) or have a later flight (after 12pm check-out). Our double room (one tier above classic) was spacious and well-furnished (boiler, shower gel, shampoo, etc.). Items were mostly replenished daily and room was tidied up as well. When we encountered inconsiderate neighbors who smoked in their room (smoke entered the vent of our room), hotel staff was swift and helpful in going room-to-room to check.

Nothing to be honest.

The reception area is small but the quality of service is like a 5-star hotel. It is modern, clean and in good condition. All equipment work well and soap, shampoo, conditioner and tissue paper are in plentiful supply. The location is excellent, about an 8 minute easy walk to the airport train, MRT and high speed rail. It is surrounded by convenience stores, eating outlets (including a McDonald’s) and shopping. Walking distance to Ximending.

Not enough hooks for hanging clothes in the room (there is no cupboard, so hooks are important). There are no hooks in the toilet for hanging clothes. If this is a safety issue, then have plastic hooks. Pillows are very flat, though it may be common in Taiwan as it was the same as our other hotel. The hotel gave us a second pillow for each person, upon request, and that solved the problem.

Hotel is in a perfect location, close to restaurants, 7/11's, Airport Express and MRT subway 10 minutes away and Ximending too. The staff is friendly and speaks English and they allowed us to check in a little early. Our room was 607 and on the corner side. Room was spacious and the bath area was very huge with great shower and water pressure. If back In Taipei we will stay here again, good value.

Our view was of a back alley. As many reviews have stated, you can hear people in the hallways and the next room. The bed is firm and pillows are not too comfy.

Great location, useful as a travel base. Our Deluxe Triple Room was spacious, clean, and beds were comfortable. Toilet was huge, with separate shower and bathtub. Friendly staffs. Toiletries were available for free at the front desk, take what you need concept. Free use of laundry (including detergent) and dryer machines, and water dispenser. Room was reasonably quiet for a good night sleep despite in a high road traffic area. No sewage smell in the toilet, unlike most of the other nearby hotels we had stayed in.

Despite the spacious room, there was no wardrobe. Only a clothe stand was provided, which was grossly insufficient. Table was too small for dinning, only big enough as a "work table". And only 1 chair. The other was a lounge chair. No luggage stand, open your luggage on the floor. Since there was no wardrobe, there was no storage space; we had to "live" from our luggage. No in-house restaurant, but paid breakfast available as pre-order (set menu) delivered next morning at a predetermined time. We did not eat their breakfast because of the inconvenience, and partly because there were many breakfast shops nearby.

The hotel is easily accessible through MTR exit Z10. Though this exit has no escalator and has to climb few flights of stairs. The location is generally great. Nearby has lots of food to explore and it’s walkable distance to Ximending too. Being near to Taipei main station means you are accessible to whole underground shopping street. It’s especially helpful during rainy days. The hotel has its own washing machine and dryer free of charge. And filtered water machine too. The room is spacious and has nice bathroom. Maybe one thing that can be improved is to have bigger table for food sharing. As the current setup doesn’t really favor food sharing unless you move the bedside tables around. Overall recommend this place for convenience.

Good-sized room, spacious for one person. Bathroom amenities were good -- rain shower with good water pressure and responsive heating, toiletries provided. Wifi and aircon also working well. Free washing machine/dryer (washing powder provided!) available on the first floor. Central location, Hotel itself is located right outside Taipei Main Station exit Z10. 7-11 is just across the road and many eateries are within walking distance. Ximending and the famous Ruyi taiyang bing store are also within a 10min walk too. Note: If you are arriving via Taoyuan Airport MRT, it is actually nearer to walk above ground (<5min walk from the Airport MRT station building). If you try to walk via the underground malls (which is a gigantic maze), you will have to walk one big round to the Taipei Metro main station first before you can reach the Z10 exit.

The bed and pillows were a bit hard for me, but otherwise fine. The place is called 日野苑 instead of HINOEN Hotel on Googlemaps, which makes it hard to find and also makes it look suspicious to English-speakers. But don't worry, it's a legit hotel!

Cosy hotel in good location. We had an early flight to catch and the hotel is just a 5-7 mins walk from the airport MRT station making it convenient. To get to the hotel from Taipei main station, Z10 is the exit but has a couple flights of stairs. If you have luggages it’s better to take Z4 which is the elevator exit and then walk a bit on the road to reach the hotel.

No sound proof- and gets noisy sometimes when guests in next door is up and about. The rooms are cosy but small, bit hard to navigate with two huge suitcases. There is only one elevator.

Reasonable room size and comfortable, the washroom was spacious too. Location was abt 7 mins away from taipei main station, but along the way have plenty of restaurants, some eateries and mcdonald too. Convience store just 1 - 2 mins away. Microwave and free washing machine just located at level 1, behind the the reception. The receptionist who checked me in i guess was very into J pop due to his hairstyle 🤭. He was very polite and answered my questions patiently.

Only downside was the price of the room. Perhaps it was the countdown period and i only managed to book abt 1 mth before my trip, the price of the room for 2 nights was incredibly expensive. But i guess i cant complain much cos its the festive season. Other than this, no complain at all.

The hotel is just 5 mins walk to Taipei Main station. Very convenient for travellers taking the Airport train. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Washing machine and dryer provided for laundry. We booked the Deluxe Triple room, it is big enough for all our luggages to open up and still have sufficient space to walk around. The bathroom is huge. Bed is comfortable too. Many eating places around the hotel. A popular 胡椒饼 (pepper biscuit) shop is just opposite the hotel. Recommend this place to stay for your holiday 👍🏻
