its newly renovated room and there a large window allowing plenty of light during day. room is super clean and has all the things we need including a small fridge, dryer...etc. water dispenser and coffee machine in common area for everyone to use. the staff were friendly and helped us with taxi for airport in early hours of morning. we dint have any breakfast so cant comment on it. though the room is small it has well organized layout making it pleasant and comfortable. Bed was very comfy and good. Toilet has bidet like those japanese toilets, which is a big plus:)

Really nice hostel/hotel. My private room with a bathroom was very comfortable. They give you towels so you don't have to worry about this. It was clean, no real issues with this. The location is brilliant!

You have to be aware of construction works in the next door building (I think they renovate this to be a hotel or offices or something) with works starting very early (6-7am early). It will wake you up, windows sound proofing was non existent. So this was quite annoying. Also do not take the Z10 exit from Taipei Station if you have a heavy bag, a very long set of stairs with no lift or escalators. It's better to take one with escalators and walk a bit.

The location was really good 10min from Taipei main station and ximending. Easy to travel around. Lot of 7-eleven, family mart and restaurants around. The room was big enough and the check-in and out was easy with a machine. Not much noise. Shower was a good size

Got back pain every morning because of the bed. My room was in level 2, suggestion would be to add a microwave next to the water fountain in the lobby in 2F. I think Taipei is quite expensive for hotels.

We booked a room with private bathroom and we did not miss anything. For a city stay in Taipei, being mainly outside discovering the city, it was enough for us. Not having a window was a bit strange though, one never naturally knows what time it is or how the weather is like without leaving the hotel building. Although small, the room was very clean, so nothing to complain about. The staff was also very friendly, we were offered help with using the washing machine, although there were written instructions available.

There was someone using the common washing machine after midnight which I don’t find appropriate. This becomes really loud if sleeping in a nearby room and one also feels the vibrations through the pillow. I did not notice whether there were rules on when to use the washing machine and when not, but the reception desk is only open until midnight, so someone definitely did not care and did it when no one could ask them not to.

Location is just walking distance to Ximending and Taipei main station. 7-11 is just slightly across the hostel. Easy to find via google maps navigation. We can take uber from the hostel pickup point and it is also an easy drop off point coming from other location. We had low expection but was surprised that it was overall a great stay. Easy check-in/check-out process plus we were able to leave our luggages upon check-out so we can still stroll around before our flight. Highly recommended and we will definitely return. Thanks!

Nothing. Everything went smooth so far...

Location was great, not too far from Taipei Main Station, easy to find, just follow Google Maps and you'll arrive there, plenty of signs to show where the hotel is. Easy to go to Ximending Night Market as well, can be reach by walking. Lots of FamilyMart and 7-Eleven nearby, easy to find restaurants nearby. Staffs were wonderful and extremely helpful. Rooms were comfortable, clean, although a bit small, but that's understandable. We arrived at Formosa 101 about 9am because we had night flight, the room wasn't ready yet (of course). We planned to leave the luggage and walked around a little bit, but our two little kids had another plan. They were knackered and fall asleep, but luckily at around 11, the staff informed us that one of our rooms was ready so we can use the room and with no extra early check in payment.

I'm happy with what I get for the price I pay.

Location. Not far from AIRPORT MRT main station, use exit no.4 (additional no.3)cross main road junction heading straight to next block (see 🚒 fire engine) turn right after 2nd block, and shin up to see name of tall building. Close with Yuanta bank. Opposite with 7-eleven. Easy to find many kind of food and shopping area. 10 minutes walk to Ximending. Quiet. Late night still safe for solo traveller. Internet, I bought from airport 300 ntd for 3 days plus free 1st date. Then I never use hotel wi-fi. You can drop off your luggages and stuff at front deck. My room located on 2nd floor. Easy to access direct from footpath outside with key card in hand. Windows can't open. But can see outside. You need to stand and lean face to see outside. Rooms as picture examples.

No towels even bath mat. Condition was you need to extra pay. I use personal small wiper. Who don't have after use bathroom. Carpet might wet, hard to dry. Mostly in Taiwan hotels allowed visitors check in start from 15.00. I arrived at 6.30am. Have to wait long hours. Pain back after woke up every days. Pillows so flat.and bed a bit curve.

The overall ambience of the hotel was nice and the staff helpful. The room was comfortable too. Location is great because it's so close to Main Station and it has so many nice restaurants around.

Although we paid for a room with windows, we couldn't open them. Maybe it was just us that didn't know how to open and frankly we didn't ask! I also think it's quite normal in this part of the world not to be able to open the windows in hotels. But for us it would have been nice.

The hotel is located on the 4th floor of an office building. My room was a budget double room, where I got a double bunk bed with a single mattress on the top and bottom. The room also came with an aircon, an air humidifier, a desk, a chair, and a mirror. It had a small tinted window with blinds. The bathroom was shared - separate for males and females. The toilets had heated seats and water jet. You could get a towel for free. Free water refill station was available in the kitchen. You could also make coffee and tea. The location is close to Main Station exit Z10.

A small room in a great location, would recommend to travel around. Felt comfortable as a solo traveler, there is security at night. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. Check-in and out was great and done with the machine.

The WiFi in my room didn’t work.. it seemed to be too far since as soon as I’d go outside it would catch again. The AC is also set up above the bed so you can feel the wind on you while laying down but it didn’t bother me much.
