- The hotel location is in between Taipei main station ( via ext.Z10) and Xiamen Station ( via ext. 6). Both exist have no elevator. If you plane to go to Jiufen, the 965 bus stop is place near by. - I reserved Standard Quadruple Room, and the room is big enough for 3 adult people and 2 big luggages. Beds are comfy and clean. And inside the room it equips with necessary items such as bottles of water, kettle and fridge. The toilet is a little bit old but clean and wild enough for tall people. At the lobby, it has snacks and coffee corner for the guest to enjoy. Also it has water dispenser for you to refill your own bottle of water. - the hotel staffs are friendly and helpful.

The wall between room is very thin. You can hear all conversation from your neighbor. There is no elevator near by from the train station. If you are traveling with big luggage, it is quite inconvenience.

1. The hotel is situated strategically right beside the busy Ximending. The easy 10-minutes walk was mostly flat roads and had plenty of convenient stores along the way. 2. The hotel staff was friendly and caring! 3. The rooms, while small, is comfortable and welcoming. The beds are soft and the lightings are bright. 4. The shower pressure was immense and provides a relaxing shower.

1. There are small pieces of rubbishes on the floor of my room. 2. The lift is slightly old, but it still functions well. 3. The corridors outside the room is really dark after 12am. While there were no tripping hazards, it was quite dangerous to navigate through them in the dark.

The room is very clean. looks quite new. good location, near railway station, metro station, a lot of shops and restaurants nearby.

it will be better if the room can be bigger..

Very close to Taipei Main Station and Ximending, accessible to different modes of transportations, restaurants, convenience stores, and banks. The street outside is also quiet at night so one can easily relax in comfort after a tiring day Daily housekeeping and free coffee, tea, and snacks. We always have our breakfast in the common area in the lobby. 24/7 reception service, so we can easily check out early in the morning to catch our flight

The walls are a bit thin, we can hear muffled voices coming from the adjacent rooms even late at night

Hotel location and staff are good. It’s very closed to transportation. The two lady of hotel staff helped us to call taxi because it’s heavy raining and we have to go the HSR station. So, they’re promptly help us carry the large luggage.

The room is small a little bit, so it’s difficult to unpacked my luggage.

The room is good for a week stay. Good size. Rooms are cleaned daily which is great, with new towels every day. It had all we needed, paper slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, hairdryer, shower gel, kettle and complimentary tea and coffee, with the use of a fridge/freezer. The little restroom on the ground floor by reception is great, especially with the complimentary coffee and water station for hot, cold and warm water. A good, cosy stay.

Upon check-in, I was charged for someone else's room, and upon checking, they had to refund and recharge me. It was corrected quickly. The room was a little stuffy upon arriving, so it would have been nice if it was aired out before we arrived. The hairdryer in the bathroom was old and rusty, but they did provide a second hairdryer in the room. There was also something plugged into the socket in the bathroom behind the mirror which confused us. At times the hot water for the shower didn't come on for ages.

The location is very convenient between Ximen and Taipei train station. I can easily walk around and take metro or buses. The room was clean. The facility was ok in general. They have free coffee/tea/snack on the ground floor. You also have a fridge in the single room (with no view).

The sound insulation isn't that great but I know it beforehand. So I have brought my earplugs. The room next door was quite noisy and they didn't pay attention to people around at night. Otherwise I slept quite well during my stay!

We loved our stay at the Chair Man hotel. It was clean, quiet (no noises of people, generators etc), the beds were comfortable, and the location was great for getting around Taipei and doing day trips out to e.g. Jiufen, Wulai. It had a fridge to keep food, water etc and they stored our luggage behind the counter when we'd checked out. It's the best hotel we've stayed in so far in Taiwan, and would definitely come back.

One small comment - if you tend to feel hot at night, maybe opt for the room without window. I stayed in this, and didn't need to use the air conditioning at all, whereas my dad stayed in a room with a window and needed the air con.

perfect for solo travelers, the space is sufficient enough for one medium size luggage. the location is great! About 10 mins to main station and 15-20mins stroll to Taipei train to Airport. It is 5 -10 mins to Xiemen station and very near XMD! A great location! You can leave your luggage if you are early and they are very responsive too. the lounge at level one is great if you need that little more space to do your work. Free coffee and sweets too at level one :)

the toilet is a little old and broken. But it still works and no major problems. Once they was a small fly in the toilet and a small spider, but it was gone the next day. I think the room is probably not in use for a few days before i came, but the other things in the room is in good condition.

Super convenient location close to Taipei main station, restaurants and shops. Rooms were clean and had daily room service/refresh. Friendly staff

Beds weren't the most comfortable, could hear other guests moving around the hotel at times.
