Room layout was well thought out and facilities were clean and neat. The common area was good. The location was very central but removed enough to be isolated from all the noise of Ximending. The room presented itself on par, if not better than some of the 5 star hotels I've stayed in. The shower, toilet and vanity were all in separate spaces: but, this ended up being a plus for a party of 3 as the entire bathroom wasn't just taken up by one person at a time.) Plenty of elevators. Many even 4-5 star hotels have just 1 or 2 elevators, which makes for a long wait if you need to get somewhere. There were plenty of elevators here meaning minimal wait. A large 7-Eleven directly below the hotel was a huge bonus. Not to mention a foot massage place right next door.

Super close to the lively Ximending. Use underground mall exit 6 if raining. Exit is just 10m away from hotel building. But the long flight of stairs up is quite something i rather not climb. Use station exit 6 instead. Modern fun decor. Free washing facilities. Donate nt10 for the washing powder. Daily housekeeping is good. Japanese style bidet toilet with warm water is a bonus. Nice big comfy room. Staff are all friendly and speak good English. Best accommodation among all the different one i had experienced in Ximending

King size bed is actually two beds put together. I would rather have a queen size bed instead. No toothbrush provided due to environmental reason. Breakfast area is cool but normal seating tables are few. Not easy to eat on the couch and coffee tables. My window view is some building roof top. Nothing to see but not a big concern as long as it bring in some light and privacy.

Wonderful stay with a family of 4 (2 young kids). The room is spacious with a proper seating area, at Ximending, next to the MRT and 7-Eleven. The breakfast is very god and the staff very friendly. Throughout the day, there are self-serving coffee machines and free snacks. There are also free laundry machines. As we stayed for 4 nights, it was very useful. Will definitely come back or try their other hotels in Taiwan and Japan!

The location is great. We like that the shower and toilet are separated, with basin outside. Breakfast spread not wide, but good enough for a decent breakfast.

The hotel staff is extraordinary. We arrived on an early morning flight, not able to check in but “Vanny” Vanessa (I hope this is correct) was extremely welcoming, polite and helpful. You can tell she goes above and beyond. We didn’t get to see her before we left but I really appreciated her enthusiasm after a 15 hour flight Location was perfect, from seeing sights to transit. Breakfast was buffet style, many choices and was a great way to start our day.

Beds could be a little softer but this all comes down to your personal preference and does not lessen my rating.

This is a really great hotel for the value, one of the best I've stayed in Taipei. It's simple yet very well-designed. The staff were are all very friendly and helpful. The room (Superior Double Room) had a great layout with a lot of room, desk, small table, and nice bathroom with separate toilet and shower rooms. The water pressure and temp were also excellent. There is no closet, but there is a bar hanging from the ceiling with hangers, and there are also some pegs on the wall for coats. The breakfast was better than expected, even with some nice western options. The breakfast area is near the check in desk and there is free coffee and light snacks all day. The elevators are fast. And the location is perfect, just on the edge or Ximending, and only a 5-10 minute walk to the MRT Airport Express. There is no bar or restaurant, so if that if what you want, try another place. Overall, very satisfied and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for value on a budget.

The breakfast area was very crowded every morning, but likely because of the lunar new year holiday. The staff did a great job managing the seating, though.

Near a metro stop, short walk to Ximending night market, many restaurants and stores in the immediate area. - Excellent breakfast- varied, plentiful, good quality (except the bread) - Free washing machines and dryers were really useful (though limited in number for so many rooms) - Friendly staff

Decor- way too dark a style for my taste throughout the hotel. Even the shower & toilet area were a dark grey. No natural light in the reception/breakfast area, not somewhere you want to linger. Bathroom- overall bad design (basically open to bedroom) and a cheap door to the toilet (flimsy with a plastic ridge which jammed and locked with someone in there 🤨) Deluxe room was relatively small.

I would recommend this hotel if staying in Taipei as follows : 1. Location. Though hotel is so near center of ximengting, just cross a major road hence, not noisy. 2. Mrt at almost front of hotel - entrance 6. But do note there’s no lift nor escalator. Need to walk further at the centre of ximengting for another MRT entrance for young children or elderly people. 3. Breakfast varieties is good and main dishes almost different everyday. We stayed 3 nights. 4. Need not make special arrangements if going jiu-fen as there’s bus 965 (like tour bus) almost right in front of hotel. And one way trip is only TW9,000 per person. 5. Staff are all very friendly and always keen to help on any request made. 6. Snacks and drinks at lobby and good resting areas when checkout, waiting for transport.

Room is relatively small and tight for the one we stayed for 4 people.

Location is great. Just exit no. 6 from ximen metro underground mall. Exit no.5 if u need the elevator. U can exit from Ximen station exit 6 and walk on street level too, just that the walk is unsheltered. Staff is super awesome and friendly with always the brightest smiles on their faces. It was a special bonus for us to receive a xmas hamper in the room and a sock full of candies. Room is just the right size for our family of 4. Enuff space for all 4 luggages to open fully. Breakfast is very cosy and warm. Though the spread is not extensive, we enjoyed the same comfort food for our stay thruout. Laundry room well equipped with 4 LG washers and 4 dryers. Just note to clean the lint of the dryer before you use and the clothes will come out dry and nice! Really love this hotel. I've been to Taipei a couple of times and i know I'll return to this hotel for sure on my next visit.

Nothing. But if I've to say, it is that it can be a bit cold in the room in dec. Apparently, no warm air from the aircon. Only solution is to turn off the unit. Lucky the blankets in the room provide enough warmth!

The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from. The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with a smile and useful local tips. The hotel is in an amazing location, just steps away from major attractions and great restaurants. Free coffee was available all day long, which was a lovely touch and much appreciated.

The booking process is poor; the hotel places a hold on the credit card, which blocks the funds until the bank releases them (between 7 and 30 days). This is particularly annoying when you book several rooms for a group. The gym (if it can be called a gym ...) is small and the treadmill was broken
