LOCATION: The hotel's location is just across Ximending where you can get very good street food, watch live street performances, and do some souvenir shopping! The Red House is also nearby, as well, as Ximending station, where you can conveniently get to other places. There is also a nearby bus stop to Jiufen old street and Gold museum. BREAKAST: Breakfast was good and filing but make sure to get there before 9AM! It has mix of Japanese, Taiwanese, and Western food. They also have coffee and juices. ROOM: The room was spacious and very comfortable. This is a small thing but It would have been nice if there would automatically be 2 sets of pillows There aren't any wardrobe but a there is a rack to hang clothes. There is a bottle of 2-in-1 Shampoo and body wash. NOTEWORTHY: We also appreciate that they do not hand out disposable items such as slippers, toothbrush set, and cleaning kit. You should should only get what you need to lessen garbage. You can leave your luggage in the hotel if you still have time to go around before your flight.

● The staffs are helpful. ● The room I stayed was good as well, though if you have more than one luggage I think it'll be too little to no space for you to move around. ● The housekeepping are always done, will give you new fresh linens just not sure if they change the beddings everyday. ● Breakfast is reasonably good, they have variety everyday. ● Location is within the Ximending Market.I highly recommend this hotel if you want accessible to everything. MRT is just in front of the building. 7-eleven is just next to it. ● You have to bring your own toiletries since they stop providing them.

Just hope next time they have the option of fried or scramble eggs.

Location is very convenient, just next to MRT Ximen station exit 5. The room is nice and big for our family.

The aircon is so cold. We tried to adjust the temp but couldn't work. We need to turn it off sometimes when it get too cold.

Location is great. The Ximen mrt station exit 5 at your doorstep. You still have to walk about 150m distance to get to the control station where you buy tickets. But it is underground so it's still fine as it's much less crowded especially on weekends compared to walking on the street to get to the control station. You can use the lift in the underground mrt if you have luggages to get to the street and then to the hotel which is just beside the lift. The 7-11 downstairs sells machine made coffee which is what I need every day. This room is big and spacious and has big windows which does not make the room feel suffocated unlike the other smaller room I booked when I stayed on another night.

Only 2 pillows available. I had to request for extra pillow.

The hotel is close to Taipei Main Station (about 10 minutes walk). It's a bit hidden in a tall building, right next to the sushi bar and the subway entrance. It is a pleasant hotel with smiling staff, everyone at the reception speaks English. The breakfast is rich and even a European can choose. A typical Asian breakfast is offered, as well as toast, jam, muesli, etc. The equipment is nice and new. The rooms that have twin beds arranged behind each other (in one line) are interesting. I would definitely recommend this hotel for short and long stays in Taipei.

The hotel's location is very convenient, within walking distance to the Ximending area and the MRT station. It's also close to massage centers, offering great value for money. The breakfast selection is limited, but it aligns with the price you pay.

1) there is a musky smell in the room when first entered. Took some time to get used to it 2) there are stains on the carpet, not sure if it is mold or dirty. 3) card access is required for every level. However, the one at level 3 seems unresponsive whenever I tapped my card. Need.to tap many times before successful. Not sure if it is the card problem

Room was clean and lots of space..Very close to everything, market, seven eleven. Breakfast was great. Cherry (restrant staff )was friendly, helping us. She was amazing.

Lift was bit too small for big hotel.

This place is super central. You are close to MRT station it's like 3 min away from hotel room to the station. Morning breakfast has many choices....love when you have so many varieties of fruits and veggies!!! Keep up the good work.

The check in area was cramped. There was only 2 elevators ....this is an older building. I almost cried when I checked into this hotel. However things have changed and I grew into liking the place a bit. I paid for my deluxe room!!! Loved how spacious it was....I would do it again!

Walking distance from ximengding. Provided water daily and room was relatively clean. Breakfast area was clean as well but they are very strict on breakfast timing. Typical taiwanese breakfast- porridge, baos, noodles. Good place to stay for a short one.

Wifi was very slow. Hotel claims that it's green and hence limited room cleaning and vanity items (to take what you need from the front desk). I think these are good efforts but what I did not understand is the usage of disposables for breakfast. No central room control with key card either so you can technically leave the Aircon and lights on for the whole day.
