The staff on reception are so kind and helpful. The location is perfect, close to Taipei main station, close to Ximeding and close to several major attractions in the city. For what is not close by foot, it is very easy to reach by metro. The hotel pleasantly surprised me with a free combo meal at the Italian restaurant located right across from the hotel. They also give out a coupon for 2 free beers, which beer lovers might really like. The room was very clean and very comfortable, peaceful and quiet for sleeping.

Quite a few maintenance issues ( re: cracked shower tiles holding up the shower door) Pull/ push door sign everywhere and the lay out of the room means we could not open up on suitcase fully.

Very helpful and friendly staff who could all make themselves understood in English. Great location within ten minutes walking distance of Taipei main station. Close to a good night market and plenty of restaurants close by. Breakfast came in little plastic boxes and changed each day. I was told that there were three variations but we had four different ones on our four mornings. The free coffee was excellent and you could fill up your water bottle for free as well. Hot water was plentiful and HOT.

For a tourist it's almost impossible to find your way out of Taipei main station so it was impossible for us to walk to the hotel the first time and we ended up taking a taxi. The internet was patchy at times and the rooms were on the small side as we expected.

Joseph and Yumi were professional but still friendly and polite, thanks for those tips on food and places to visit, to get there. Bathroom is clean, and water pressure is very good, gave us a refreshing shower in a hot days (most hotels nowadays are so green, that they restrict water pressure until it felt like showering under a trickling water. They also arranged a taxi with driver who spoke ENglish for us to visit Jiufen and Shifen, the driver/ taxi was an excellent trip, safe drive, clean comfortable car. Also enjoy to have a washing and drying machine on the basement. The free beer we got in house was also very good, I am not one who like drinking beer, but was very light and refreshing in a hot day after a long day out and about.

would like to have some extra surface/shelf to put stuff on in the room. Only one tiny table and no place to put phone etc for charging. 3 people in the room, rather small but not stuffy.

The staffs are very friendly, willing to help, and can communicate with the guests in English fluently . Location is not far from Taipei Main Station, so we can move our baggage to Taipei Main Station conveniently. Also there is not far from Ximending Walking Street. We can walk around 10 minutes to shopping everyday! To say about shopping, there are so many shops around the hotel. That's so fun for walking and shopping here.

The room's cleaning service, due to the green policy, is not convenient. We have to call for changing our towels or cleaning the trash bin.

Great location, short walk to Taipei Main Station. Many places to eat nearby and 10 min walk to Ximending. The rooms were spacious, bed was comfortable. I appreciate that we could refill our water bottles downstairs. Thank you for the snacks in the room as well.

The toilet room is a bit cramped and the walls near the toilet could be cleaned.

The design and layout of the room is well thought of. It is not the most spacious, but everything is so functional. It is also very clean and modern. I felt like at home. Definitely loving the windows throughout the room and the curtain that is controlled by remote. Also loving the sofa and bench. Staff are also very friendly. Location is 10 minutes walk to Taipei Station and 10 min to Ximending.

The only downside is wifi can be a bit slow in the evening.

The service was outstanding. Peter and Sheena went out of their way to help us with all needs. We have travelled to over 60 countries and this was by far the best service. The location was excellent with many restaurants around and literally a 6 minute walk to Taipei main station. We highly recommend the Relax 3 and their outstanding staff.

It would have been nice to have a restaurant on site that served breakfast.

Very convenient location for one night stay in Taipei; close to MRT, bus station and hop on/hop off tourist bus. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Appreciated that we could leave our luggage at the hotel the next day. Perfect for one night!

My partner found the pillows/mattress a little uncomfortable because of the plastic but I had no problems and thought it was great for one night in the city!

Room was decently sized and very clean. All necessary amenities were there (hair dryer, water, snacks, shampoo, fridge, etc). Bed was super wide, though not long, so you might need to check with them for a longer bed or look elsewhere if you’re over 6’2” (not a problem for 6’0”). Great location and easy to find, great food nearby. I’ve stayed at Hotel Relax 1 previously and this location was just a slightly better vibe.

The shower door didn’t close properly - probably an easy fix so hopefully this message gets to the staff!
