The rooms are spacious with everything you need - fast WIFI, safety box, bathtub, complimentary water, refrigerator, slippers, robes, etc. It's a green hotel and the respect the environment by having non essentials like solid soaps, razors, combs, etc. available in a bin at the lobby. Housekeeping is also green oriented by scheduling change of towels every 3 days, but they will provide fresh ones on request. Location is a winner!

Hotel location is great, it is near the Taipei main station and not too far from XiMenDing too. IF one arrives by train, remember to take underground exit Z4 where there is an elevator to bring you to the street level. While exit Z8 is nearere to the hotel, you need to take a long staircase up to the street. If one arrives by TaoYuan airport express train, then go straight up to exit 4 street level and hotel is merely 300 meters away. Lots of eateries near the hotel and we found some good ones during our 10 day stay. Hotel room is huge (26 sq M) by city standard and of good value. Toilet is ewquipped with a bidet which we enjoyed. One thing to note is the aircon, it seemed to stay at 22 or 23C regardless of our setting, so at times, we turn it off as it was too cold. There is a self service washer and dryer at the bsement, essential for those who have a longer stay especially during summer. there is a michelin bib gourmand beef noodle store just behind the backlane next to hotel; we also chanced upon a italian eatery about 150M away which serves excellent squid ink pasta with pran/garlic; breakfast is at a nearby local place which serves typical taiwanese pancake which we had for many days. Overall, we like this hotel and enjoyed our stay there.

Aircon temperature seems unadjustable - we just turn it off at times and didnt reflect to front desk.

The staff working at the reception were very helpful. When we had any problems with our room they almost immediately sent someone to fix them. The room was clean, well furnished and we had clean towels every day. There is a laundry room in the basement where you can wash and dry your clothes. The breakfast was varied and delicious.

There was a light above the bed that was always on and couldn't be switched off. Luckily the staff quickly sent someone to fix it when we told them about it.

If you know location well, you can shorten your walk. Exit from Taipei main station (Airport Express), do not walk through underground. Just up to ground Exit 1/2 (A1), then walk straight to hotel. The walk path is all flat, even with luggages still fine.

I did not have any expectations prior to coming to the hotel, but I was blown away! The price was affordable, the location was amazing, with many shops and near to Taipei Main Station and Ximending was about 10-15mins walk away. We had some of the best food nearby the hotel. The room was amazing, the most comfortable beds, nice luxury decor, excellent bathroom with bathtub, and a huge size too. I did not try the breakfast so I cannot comment on that. I appreciate that they had a fitness facility and washing machine and dryer facilities! You can also buy the detergent from the counter if you did not bring any. All in all, Green World Taipei hotel staff went above and beyond to help me during my stay. Highly appreciated!

They are environmentally friendly. They encourage guests to bring their own toothbrush, toothpaste. Hand soaps and body wash are provided in dispensers. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. It had a bath tub which was nice. The staff were very helpful. Checking in and out was very fast. Location is superb, being near taipei main station and my favorite roast duck place.

Housekeeping needs some improvement. My bathroom wasn't cleaned well as it still had hair and dirt on the floor and drain. But that was probably just one staff. Most days, my room was well cleaned.

A well appointed room, and bathroom. I especially appreciated the heated toilet seat! A solid location, walking distance from Taipei Main Station, and to several other points of interest in Taipei. The breakfast spread was decent, and the Wifi signal was strong.

The fact that the temperature couldn't be controlled was quite annoying. It was a tad chilly in the room (and bathroom) on account of that. I checked with the reception about it and they said its centrally controlled. The only solution they offered was to turn off the unit! That, and the fact that there was an alarm that went off in the middle of the night (on my first night) and everyone had to make their way down to the reception. No explanation was offered!

The location is very convenient. Walking distance to Taipei Main Station. And there an express train to Taoyuan international airport which is within walking distance too. And is walking distance to ximendeng, pier , and a few more others. You can do last minute of shopping at Taipei Ma in station , is massive. And they do provide washing machine n dryer. But there only one each. Is TWD 70 & TWD 80. Can’t remember exactly. Dryer is more by TWD10. You can purchase laundry detergent if needed. The room is clean. Read alot of previous comments about the carpet , FYI , the rooms are not carpeted. Is just the walkway are carpeted. And yes there are some stains here n there. But is totally fine, I don’t find it dusty. Overall is clean.

Breakfast is good. It’s not kind of huge selection but it’s good enough to start your day (fresh salad vegetables, some Asian dishes and rice porridge, few bread, pastries and fresh fruits, few choices of hot and cold drink). Saw comments from people who complain about very limited choices. I don’t know how much these people expect to eat in the morning.

Stains on carpet. It’s not that bad but will look cleaner if it’s less obvious. However, I always bring my own slipper to wear. Never walk bear foot even when stay in 5 star hotel.

It stays at 21c ... quite cold for January 2) No water dispenser, just provided 2 bottles of water per room, need to buy water at nearby 7-11 3) Most rooms are with bathtub, a high climb for seniors to get in and out of the bathtub. 4) Main Entrance of Hotel are 2 steps, does not have ramp for luggages 5) Breakfast Area is at basement, go down thru stairs, not good for seniors
