Loved the complimentary water refill station and coffee making facilities in reception with free snacks always available. I was nervous about the size of the room from reading other reviews but actually I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the room. It was appropriate for the price and there was enough room for 2 people and not cramped. I feel the other reviews about size are a little unfair - if a larger room is your priority then book a bigger room at a higher price in a different hotel. Don’t put this hotel down because you think their rooms should be bigger. If they were the price would increase too ;-)

I actually cannot think of anything that I didn’t like. Air conditioning was great, room was squeaky clean, and the shower was AMAZING both hot and powerful.

A very nice hotel in a perfect location, near the Taipei main station. The room is quite small but comfortable, and most importantly, it was always very quiet at night. There's a shared fridge at the reception area, there's also a water refill available there (the machine can also do boiling water which was handy for making drip bag coffee). It was also possible to store luggage there before check-in or after check-out. Wi-Fi was ok; sometimes not super fast but I had couple video calls during the stay with no issue.

Very minor things. The TV opposite bed has a bright blue indicator light which may be slightly disturbing at night; it would be great if it was possible to turn off the TV completely. Also, there was no hand soap provided in the room. Finally, the bathroom light is a bit too bright with a cool tone, which is not perfect when using bathroom before sleep. Overall, these things had very little impact on my stay.

I selected TO as it was close to the main station .. once you cross the street from K12 station exit and walk towards Mac Donald's, it's rite there .. the room i got overlooked the road and quite sufficient for 1 person.. the bed was comfy, given that I slept well. There are food stalls at the entrance of the building where the hotel is located..the location is convenient if u want to use the mrt or to/from from the APT. The hotel staff were very helpful , they heloed me as to which night market to go or how to reach places of interest. There is a hot and cold water station at the reception area that u can use along with some local sweets to taste .. overall, if u are looking for a good value and a central place to stay, this is definitely a good option ..

The manager and staff were so kind. I checked in late, around 3 AM, and the rooms were so quiet and comfortable that I was able to have a nice hot shower and sleep in a very comfortable bed. Even the windowless room was great because it's like having blackout curtains :) And the next morning when I stepped into the lobby in my dress and flats, the manager was kind enough to inform me that it was raining! So I was able to run back into the room and grab my umbrella and rain boots. Even when I packed my umbrella upon checkout and didn't want to get wet, I could still walk to the McDonald's for breakfast without getting rained on because it was just at the corner of the block.

In case future guests are unsure, the hotel is very clear about not providing hand soap and minor toiletries, but I had a ton of hand sanitizer in my bag already so it was no problem for me at all :) TP/tissue and shampoo/body wash were included in the room. I would stay here again if I could.

Great value for money. Convenient location, 5 minutes walk from Exit Z4 of Taipei Main Station so couldn’t be easier. Gave it high rating not because it’s a luxury hotel or that sort of thing but it’s got everything you need. The facilities are well maintained and functional. There are many street food stalls in the area, very convenient to find something to eat.

Space is a bit limited but for the price and location it’s not bad. We could manage to leave two medium suitcases opened during our stay, just have to dodge around but that wasn’t a problem for us.

Feels like someone put thought into the design and making the hotel both user and eco-friendly because by keeping it was minimalistic, the room felt bigger than it was, and it covered all the basic needs for someone who travels a lot. - Staff were friendly, helpful, and polite. - Charging area is right next to the bed and there was also a USB port for charging, including one that allows foreign chargers. - Shower water pressure was great and water warmed up quickly. - Generally it was quiet; no street noise, and didn't hear neighbours speaking. (No window room) - TV was easy to use with different language settings, also with YouTube hooked up - No noisy fridge in the bedroom, but there's a shared fridge in the lobby you can use. - No bottled water, but they have a water dispenser with hot, warm, and cold water you can use for free. This is great for someone like me who travels with a thermos. - Small area by door for hanging jackets and storing suitcase. All things considered, this was probably the best hotel I've stayed at in Taipei for this price range.

Minor issues, and some very common in hotels in Taiwan. - Mostly very clean except for a layer of dust on top of the charging area. - There was a soft chirping/beeping on and off throughout my stay. Not sure if it was the smoke detector or something, but it wasn't at regular intervals. - The drain/pipes gurgled a bit and could hear a little banging in the morning from neighbours (common). - Shower water gets out through the door hinge (common).

I've stayed in the area before, and it's my go-to when arriving in Taipei. It's close to the train station, very centrally located in a vibrant yet safe neighborhood full of food and shopping options. The staff was very friendly and helpful, greeting everyone with a warm smile every time and always up for a good chat. The hotel is basic but clean and well-maintained, offering free coffee and tea 24/7.

Unfortunately, there was only a room without a window left. We made the best of it, but it did feel a bit claustrophobic. The prices fluctuate significantly between weekend and non-weekend rates.

Location was very central, being very near to the Taipei Main Station for me to catch my morning flight (trains start at 0600, I took the 0615 train to Terminal 2 for a 0920 flight). The bigger plus point was that it was near many eateries and I had a chance to try the famous Michelin-star Liu Shan Dong beef noodles two streets away. Room cleanliness was great which was a big factor for me, AC was nice and cold and adjustable. Check-in was seamless, you can leave your luggage with them in the meantime until 4pm when your room and card is ready.

Shower space was a bit small and I was trying my best not to point the showerhead against the door while still being able to wash down... still, there were small gaps through which the water ended up spraying through. There was a slight musty smell after running the shower, I just closed the bathroom door to shut that in. The room though advertised as for 2 persons seems too tight especially if you need to unpack, but since I was on my own this was fine. I couldn't get Netflix to work cause I couldn't figure out the remote pointer :(

The WiFi signal is super strong and great for video calls. The room is small but the size was perfect for a solo traveler like me. There was a desk and roomy bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable The staff was super nice and helpful. Really enjoyed the complimentary tea and instant coffee. There is a community fridge you can use to store your leftovers The location is great! Couple minutes walk from the subway station. Lots of good food and drink on the same block. It’s very convenient!

The shower door didn’t close all the way so the water would leak out. I didn’t realize that on the first night so the bathroom floor got quite wet and made the air damp. The rest of the nights I was able to control the water leaking out so it was better

Central to a couple Main Station MRT entrances. Will still have to walk a little bit from airport MRT. Very central, next to a couple good food options. Staff was nice, luggage hold was smooth. Price was good. YouTube and Netflix add-on to TV was a plus. Entry via elevator on 2nd floor - access elevator via hallway lobby between the stairs down to Cosmed and rice roll (yellow signed food stall). Good stay for one person.

Windowless option is cheaper though I recommend the window option to help plan for the weather of the day for any stay in Taipei. Like other hotels, no early check in options
