The property is an excellent location to public transportation. It was super easy to get to from the airport and then from the hotel you could pretty much go anywhere you wanted to because you’re right close to Taipei main station. Also, there’s wonderful street food options for a quick breakfast that’s inexpensive. This area of Taipei is definitely much more affordable than the business district and everything was so walkable. There was some great shopping and parks nearby. The rooms aren’t super large, but they were clean and the bathrooms were nice. Beds were comfortable. They had some very fun play areas for little children.

The rooms could use some more hooks in the bathroom so that they replace to hang towels and toiletry bags. The children’s play area isn’t open until 10 or 1030AM and it would be nice if it was open at 8 AM when most toddlers are awake and very active.

1. The location is near Taipei main train station which is very convenient to go to high speed rails or local Taiwan rails or Taipei MRT. 2. If you have heavy or large luggage, you should exit by Z2 which has a lift to Shingkong Mitsukoshi (新光三越) and walk about 100m to the hotel. The nearest exit in front of the hotel is Z8, which has flights of stairs that are challenging to carry luggage. 3. The lobby at Level 4 has a very cosy ambience with free snacks, drinks, food truck and relatively big space to watch a screen where they project local news. The washers and dryers are also very useful especially if your trip is quite long.

There are other offices that share the same lift with the hotel as the hotel doesn’t own the whole building but this may not be an issue to most.

Great location near taipei main station, service was great and the room was comfortable and clean. Loved that we could self service to replenish the items such as toothbrush, combs, soap and bottled water in the lobby, and loved the food and snack station in the lobby for the extra munch when we are hungry. The laundry and dryer are conveniently located on the same floor as the lobby, and there were also 2 kids play room for the children to play around.

The pillows were a little flat, and they didn't have extra pillows to provide. Directions from taipei main station to the hotel were not very clear as taipei main station is very big and confusing. The directions to reach the hotel is not luggage or stroller friendly. If you are carrying heavy luggage or stroller, you would need to either exit from Z2 which has the lift, or walk out from beimen station instead.

The staff are friendly and they are always willing to help. Location is good as it is near Taipei main station and a good base to be at. Those with kids, they have excellent facilities to keep your kids busy. They really meant it when it is the executive room with Taipei 101 view as you can really see Taipei 101. COVID-19 is still around as such they mentioned that make up room service is not available but if we do need to change the bedsheets etc they can give us and there are additional amenities (toothbrush, toothpaste, comb etc) beside the main reception area. Do note that the main lobby is on the 4th floor, once you reach Taipei main station look for exit Z8 of the Station Front Mall (Taipei main station can be quiet confusing so look for signs not only at the ceilings but at the side of the walls as well) once you climb 4 flights of stairs turn right. If you have luggage look for the elevator at exit Z4 (elevator is not located beside it but before it about maybe 10m away plus minus, so keep a look out) The entrance of the building is not your typical hotel entrance, there is just 1 guy sitting behind a security table like your typical office building per say. . You will need to go to the 4th floor for the main lobby.

Nothing much other than Stayed at the executive room with Taipei 101 view, however, the room does not have any usual closets to hang your clothes. Only 4 hangars with hooks (designed cleverly) to hang your clothes. Other than that all good.

Lovely location right outside Taipei Main Station’s Z8 Exit, which made travelling around during my trip very convenient, except that the Exit didn’t come with a Lift so travellers with huge or heavy luggage would find it difficult to get to the Train Station via this Exit.

The instructions to make up room and change towels weren’t the clearest. And while they had a fill-in form system for you to decide if you would like to have your rooms cleaned up daily, the area for us to leave instructions was redundant as they didn’t even go through that and we had to remind them about it at the end of the day when we were back from the day’s tour, which make it pretty pointless?

Great location only a 10 minute walk to Taipei main station and a comfortable room. We were on a higher floor and did not have any issues with noise. The hotel had a water dispenser with teas and coffee available as well as snacks. The bathroom had darkened glass to separate it from the rest of the room and was not see through as can often be the case in Asia.

Upon checking in nothing about the snacks or tea station was explained to us and we had to figure out that it was free by watching other guests. The process of cleaning the room was inconvenient as you have to fill out a form that you would like your room cleaned the night before, and then they will clean it between 11am and 5:30pm. If you forget to fill this form out, you will have to wait until the following day to have anything cleaned. The elevator often took up to 8 minutes to arrive to our floor since there are multiple elevators all with separate buttons to call them, so they all get pressed and then stop on floors with no one there as they have taken a different one that arrived first.

Stayed at Roaders Plus for 2 nights. We are a family of 3 (with 1 baby). Pros - - Great location, right opposite Taipei main station. It is a bit confusing to get to from the station with the myriad of underground exits though. - The location enabled us to get to any part of Taipei easily by bus or train. - Bright and kid-friendly lobby with some joy rides, snack bars and a play area. - Our request for a baby cot was fulfilled. - Bed was a queen, but soft and comfortable for two. - Great view of the Taipei skyline from our room. - Cool bluetooth ring mirror, which we used to play music. - Loads of local and budget friendly eating options nearby. 15 mins walk from Ximending.

Cons - - Rooms are a tight squeeze, and with a baby even more so. - The baby cot was nice, but it was for infants upto 6-8 months, and not beyond. - Decent sized shower area with a Japanese toilet. - Basin is in the living room itself.

Kid aspect to the hotel was great. Playroom with areas to climb, including a climbing wall. Sugary snacks and drinks in the lobby were a nice touch. The staff kept our luggage before we headed back to the airport. Great walkable neighborhood next to the main station

We never got the free food in the afternoon, were always out. Hotel rooms are small. The bathroom smelled like smoke, despite their rooms being non smoking, likely a guest or neighbor problem. Not sure why the playroom isn't open in the morning, doesn't open until after 10 or 11, which is when check out is---give the parents a break---that is why we are here! Unfortunately, then the kids are in the cramped room while parents pack to leave.

The location was very convenient with lots to do within walking distance. The lobby has a very fun and cheery atmosphere. The snacks were great and much appreciated and we arrived just in time for the more robust afternoon snack time. The staff was super friendly, helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here and hope to come back soon!

If I had to find something that could have gone more smoothly, it took a couple tries before we figured out that the lobby is on the 4th floor (because I couldn’t remember that part). I also didn’t rate this hotel as romantic because it’s whimsical and family-friendly. But that may also be because I traveled with my spouse and a friend.

The location of this hotel is very good, near Taipei main station and beside a mall. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a playroom which is popular with the kids. They have bathtub in the bathroom which the kids like. For the price, overall is 7/10.

Note that the carousel in the lobby is not a real one which I think is a bit misleading from the photos. Also, the room is very small for the price, especially for the family room by standard and the bed is a bit firm.
