The breakfast buffet mainly showcased steamed buns, boiled pork sausages, stir-fried noodles and vegetables, three types of breads that could be toasted, ham, cheese, fruits and pickled veggies. Another egg dish option would be great. Only hard-boiled eggs were available during our stay. There was a couple of cereal options, as well as milk, coffee and juice. We liked that they had sustainable practices in place. The water fountain located on the landing of each floor (it gives both hot and cold water) was a great way to avoid offering bottled water in the rooms. You also request for bath amenities from the Reception, as they do not provide disposable amenities in the room. There were shampoo and shower gel in refillable containers inside the shower. The best bit is the Japanese toilet which had a heated seat! The Front Office staff were amazing. We requested assistance in booking a taxi for a day tour and it took no time at all to confirm. They also spoke English, probably the only ones in the hotel. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Location was great and Uber drivers didn't have problems finding it. It was also a few minutes ride from the places we wanted to visit. 5 mins from Miniatures Museum of Taiwan 6 mins from Lin Dong Fang (beef noodle shop) 7 mins from Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial and Ningxia Night Market 11 mins from Ximending and Dihua Street 12 mins from Raohe Street Night Market and Shilin Night Market

Location is very good, breakfast is great and room is very clean and comfortable

We arrived at 6 am in the morning after 24 hours flights and asked if the hotel could accommodate us to have access to our room earlier. They told us they couldn't help us at all and if we wanted to go in a room before 3 PM we needed to pay an extra night. I understand we cannot check in the morning at 6 am but a little accommodation would have been nice but the reception was not accommodating at all...

Friendly & helpful staff. Good breakfast. What I like is a lot of cooked veg. would be good if provide more fruits. Room is pretty big.

Location is a little off. The neighborhood is good, lots of restaurants & shops, but then if you want to go to Taipei station or subway station, it is a little bit far (20min walk?), taking the bus is not a problem, pretty convenient.

Location wise, was a tad far from the MRT, but walkable to majority of the places i wanted to go to. The room i stayed in was spacious and clean, the beds were sufficiently firm, toilet clean and spacious, and there is a proper water dispenser outside for me to top up water. ample furniture for myself and spouse to lounge around in the room.

the shower head holder was a bit faulty, it couldnt hold the shower head in place, i had to adjust the water pressure to prevent it from spraying water at the ceiling. the pillows are too soft, had to ask for an extra pillow for proper support.

Excellent breakfast, freshly prepared meals with good quality, staff are tentative and courteous, room is clean, we enjoyed our week stay at this hotel.

I wish this hotel is a bit closer to a MRT station, after a whole day of walking around Taipei, the short 6,7 minutes walk back to the hotel is not something we look forward to. Having said that, this hotel is very quiet at night and we were not disturbed by any traffic noise during our stay.

Clean and comfortable beds and bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. We needed to shift from one room to another during our stay, and they arranged for the second room to be available without any gap, although they were two separate bookings. The "family room" has a great shower. The shower and the toilet are each in a separate "stall" with the sink in an open area opposite so they can be used at the same time, which turned out to matter more often than I might have expected. It's worth noting that the sink area doesn't have a door or curtain, so there isn't a lot of privacy for that space. Zhongshan is in the center of the city, so everything is reachable, and both the green and red lines come to that metro. The metro stop is a ten minute walk, which could feel long-ish in the heat; the Nanjing & Linsen intersection bus stop was notably closer, and there's a stop on Linsen road for other routes as well. Breakfast was convenient and included a mix of western and Taiwanese dishes. The laundry machines on site were a welcome amenity as well.

We’ve visited Taipei numerous times already , this hotel simply fits our needs. Location is perfect, easy to reach different area. Rooms are clean and have plenty of space for us. Staff members are nice as well.

Not much complaints…. Maybe the ventilation in the bathroom can be enhanced a bit.. I guess due to the moisture after shower … there is a bit of bad smell in the morning next day ..

Room is big enough for one or two people. Although it locates on a main street but it is still quiet enough for a good sleep. Bathroom is a bit small but it is ok.

Not easy to find the lobby, as the hotel is inside a building. Lobby is on the 4th floor, and the entrance to approach elevator to the lobby is like to get in a residential building, so a little confused.

The location is very good. The breakfast is simple but delicious especially porridge with many side dishes. Nice espresso. The counter staff helps me to call taxi, walk down to the door, the taxi had arrived less than 3 minutes. 2 MRT stations can be reached (Zhong Shan and Shuang Lian).

The counter staff attitude is not very friendly and polite. They didn't show their friendly smile and behavior when we arrived.

- Room size is adequate - Comfortable bed - Quiet when windows are closed - very clean - Wi-Fi is fast and reliable

- Not close to subway. It is an over 10 minutes walk. - Questionable neighborhood at night, although it is safe to walk around. I would not recommend this hotel to family with children. - Breakfast is basic. Nothing exciting to write about.
