I am a European marketing girl who likes a vintage look and more simple interior. * location was so easy to walk * taxi is easy to catch * massage, supermarket, design district within 4 minutes • simple interior • not a new hotel but everything was really clean and well taken care of • it is a family business so it was easy to talk to staff I had a misunderstanding about payment online and the lady was really elegant and on my side about it. I even expended my stay one night. It is a good hotel to be back in the day time just to recharge and go out again.

the location is excellent, not far from Taipei main station and a lot of restaurants and massage shop nearby, i enjoyed by stay. the staffs are friendly, i feel comfortable and helpful when communicate with them.

old facility but with good price, it may not romantic but worth for the money. the hotel without breakfast area, but it's no problem for me since I can easily find different restuants and cafe nearby.

For a very reasonable price the hotel offered all that traveller might need. Clean, well equipped room and surprisingly quiet at night when considering the location. Close to shops, convenience stores and restaurants. A great base from which to explore Taipei

Very good value for money. Very central, good transport links, shopping, eating. The hotel was luxurious in its day and is still functional. The lobby furniture is elegant old lacquered wood of a kind you don't often see these days. The lobby staff is helpful but some of those cleaning need to remember that not all guests appreciate loud talk in the corridors before 11.00. Lots of beautiful white towels and linen. The hot water was hot. A shower curtain would be helpful.

Very clean, and the environment is quiet (I think it’s because fewer people were staying there on weekdays). The receptionist staff is friendly and polite.

They do not provide a bottle of water. I have to go to the 2nd floor to refill my bottle- because they only have one water dispenser.

The hardest bed ever. and I think in past there was a lot of smoking... now it's non smoking, but the smell... still there

Overall is good value for the price, location is convenience which you could have late dinner around hotel, and walking distance to bus stop or metro station, the bed is clean and comfortable

Front Desk is very friendly and they even waited for us even if our check in is around 3AM. Place is around 5-10mins walk to Zhongshan station.

The bed was really comforable and the bathroom also. Staff was friendly. Quiet hotel and great location. Just 1 MRT station from the Taipei main station, so it was really easy to move around Taipei. The hotel is not located at a big road so the room is nice and quit, yet the hotel is very accesable.
