Gymn equipment range provided was excellent. Breakfast choice and standard was delicious and excellent. Pool side service fantastic thank you Rajab. DJ at night rooftop bar was good music. Regency Club service thank you Mwajuma. Comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of storage and the bathrooms has functional rooms works well. Staffs are customer focus, polite and friendly from porter Pius and his team, reception, door staff and Palm restaurant to mention a few, thank to the chef Epiphania, and manager Yakwino and his team, including Renalda, Waziri, Valerie, Yasinta, Boniventure, Juvenary thank you, you have made our 4 days stay memorable and enjoyable.

Gymn air condition could be cooler it gets too hot to exercise properly. Room Sea view were affected by one of the windows panel condensation. There was no milk UHT or powder form in the room for tea. Air condition in the room should be kept on, all the time or window kept opened if anti mosquito net panels is installed to remove the slightly musty smell in the room.

We really had a great stay at Grand Hayyat Kilimanjaro. The hotel pride itself on providing exceptional hospitality. The staff members were not only professional but also incredibly friendly, going out of their way to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. One of the standout features of our visit was the wide array of delectable food options available. The culinary offerings at Hayyat Kilimanjaro catered to every taste preference, and we found ourselves spoiled for choice at every meal. The quality of the cuisine exceeded our expectations, further enhancing the overall experience. A highlight of our time at Hayyat Kilimanjaro was indulging in the exquisite services offered at the on-site spa. The tranquil ambiance, skilled therapists, and top-notch facilities made for a truly rejuvenating experience, leaving us feeling relaxed and revitalized.

Excellent breakfast service. Delicious parathas. Got to meet Chef Himmat Singh. As a fellow Indian, loved chatting with him. The staff was also super sweet during our checkout. The cafe has excellent coffee and mugs for sale.

The person at the reception wasn't as friendly as we had come to expect after a week in Tanzania. We stayed here on our very last night after completing our safari and reached around 1 AM due to a flight delay from Kilimanjaro to Dar es Salaam. Maybe our expectations were sky high! But perhaps he could have been a lot friendlier.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Dar es Salaam for just one night before my flight back to Amsterdam, and it was a wonderful experience. Although the stay was short, I was truly impressed by the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, offering a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The attention to detail and overall service were equally exceptional, making me feel very well taken care of. The hotel also arranged the transfer from the airport, which cost 120 euros for a round trip. Though the driver was slightly late, it was understandable because my flight landed about half an hour earlier than scheduled. The drive itself took about 30 minutes, which was quick and convenient. While the transfer price is on the higher side, the outstanding service provided by the hotel more than made up for it. All in all, Hyatt Regency in Dar es Salaam delivered a top-notch experience—even if just for one night—and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the city.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and they managed to fulfill all our requests throughout our stay. The facilities were also really good, including the pool, gym and restaurants. Overall, a wonderful stay, and will definitely be going back again. The Sea View rooms also have an amazing view. I would highly recommend it if you are on the fence about upgrading.

We were not allowed to take pictures in certain areas of the hotel; this should be clearly stated at check-in, or 'no photos' signs should be put up.

The hotel helped us organize our taxis to and from airport and also to dinner. Staff are smiley and friendly.

Sadly, when we were checking out at 530am a big group were checking in and it took a while for one guy at reception to get a colleague. The check out process took way too long and was far too complicated considering we only had a small outstanding amount left to pay - I actually was concerned we weren’t going to get to the airport on time for our domestic flight!

Courteous staff. Spacious room with ocean view. Bed was comfortable. Infinity swimming pool with ocean view. Rooftop bar with views of Dar es Salaam. Thank you, Joan - Guest experience, you welcomed us warmly. Mary at Palm Restaurant graciously hosted us for dinner on the many nights we were there.

Great food, super comfy bed, and the pool was perfect. Overall, a really great stay!

Breakfast was great and so was dinner — the food was very good. That said, the ambiance of the dinner restaurant was a bit depressing. The lighting was harsh and it was completely silent, so even though we enjoyed the meal, we couldn’t wait to leave. Also, the check out process is a little slow.

Evrything was perfect only problem i was disappointed about was i paid the full amount on my first day when i was checking out the receptionist said i had outstanding balance i asked why they said dollar rate went up I feel this so unprofessional as no one mentioned to me about this as i paid full price they just greedy for money We are very sad
