Excellent breakfast service. Delicious parathas. Got to meet Chef Himmat Singh. As a fellow Indian, loved chatting with him. The staff was also super sweet during our checkout. The cafe has excellent coffee and mugs for sale.

The person at the reception wasn't as friendly as we had come to expect after a week in Tanzania. We stayed here on our very last night after completing our safari and reached around 1 AM due to a flight delay from Kilimanjaro to Dar es Salaam. Maybe our expectations were sky high! But perhaps he could have been a lot friendlier.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Dar es Salaam for just one night before my flight back to Amsterdam, and it was a wonderful experience. Although the stay was short, I was truly impressed by the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, offering a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The attention to detail and overall service were equally exceptional, making me feel very well taken care of. The hotel also arranged the transfer from the airport, which cost 120 euros for a round trip. Though the driver was slightly late, it was understandable because my flight landed about half an hour earlier than scheduled. The drive itself took about 30 minutes, which was quick and convenient. While the transfer price is on the higher side, the outstanding service provided by the hotel more than made up for it. All in all, Hyatt Regency in Dar es Salaam delivered a top-notch experience—even if just for one night—and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the city.

Evrything was perfect only problem i was disappointed about was i paid the full amount on my first day when i was checking out the receptionist said i had outstanding balance i asked why they said dollar rate went up I feel this so unprofessional as no one mentioned to me about this as i paid full price they just greedy for money We are very sad

This was our first time to stay at the Dar es Salaam Hyatt Regency. We stayed for 2 nights during our wedding prior to our honeymoon. The hotel is a luxurious 5 star hotel with all the amenities and great service and staff. Rooms and bathroom are modern and fully equipped with everything you may need during your stay. Good food. Very friendly staff.

Some guests were quite rude to the staff which the staff handled with charm, but it was not deserved and should not be happening (I witnessed this rude behavior more than once)

Cheap cosmetics in bathroom Water in plastic bottles

I’ve stayed in quite a few hotels in Dar es Salaam and nothing tops the Hyatt. Its cleanliness is the best, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The facilities are probably the hotel’s best feature, as I enjoyed the sauna and the spa. Will be staying there again!

Lovely to sit on the roof top and watch over the harbour. Great BBQ night

Don’t let them block more on your card than your actual accommodation. There was a lot of confusion upon check out on the extra money blocked off. Space by swimming pool was limited. I’m still waiting for the spa to send me a menu and price list since last year.

A gem of a hotel -so many areas to see and experience -roof bar terrace , flame bar outside in a tropical paradise, outdoor swimming pool . Fabulous rooms with terrific view and comfy beds . Spacious areas . Great water features .A delight for the eyes. Lovely smiley staff whom were keen to help .

Could do with more vegetarian options

Regency club staff were very friendly and helped out with any problems.Good choice of breakfast.

Pool.deck area only 3rd was open as new flooring was being laid ,Was not informed about this prior to arrival.Booked a sea view room but windows need replacing as you could not see clearly out of them.
