The Staff was very friendly and helpful with all our questions and requests. The food and cocktails were brilliant. The room is fantastic. We saw monkeys from our balcony, with the beach and surrounding cliffs providing a fantastic backdrop. The Hotel staff picked us up from the beach in the golf cart and then after check out dropped us off by the longtail boats and helped us get the baggage onto the boat. The longtail boat service was brilliant and the man at the counter on the beach was very helpful.

The Location is amazing but only accessible by boat. They say you can walk to the neighbouring beach on low tide but we never managed to catch low tide. So going to explore the local areas can become expensive as most of the time we had to get a private longtail to explore. You can wait/ organise with others if you want it to be cheaper. We wanted to do the night markets and go around the different beaches and had to get private boats most of the time so we spent around £50 on longtail taxis over the 2 nights we spent here. We got boats early mornings, midday, and late nights and the price does vary depending on time.

Our beachfront room was stunning. Lovely rustic interior with all the faces. Super comfy bed but let’s be honest..it’s all about the view! Travelled extensively around the whole but the setting here is jaw dropping. Shame it isn’t facing the sunset but can hardly blame the hotel for that!!

Constant noise from the long tail boats mostly heading to Railing Beach. It’s like relaxing in the garden while your neighbour spends the whole day cutting the grass! Again nothing the hotel can do about that but just an observation. I guess it’s the result of only been able to access these stunning Coves by boat?

We loved everything about Tinidee Hideaway. The setting is beautiful, right on the beach with palm trees dotted around the grounds. The food was amazing, I’d say our favourite during our two weeks in Thailand. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the night security guard was very sweet and treated us like long lost friends. Our bungalow on stilts was great- had everything we needed and a view to die for (ocean front room 11). We loved that the resort is only accessible by boat, and as an alternative to boat we were able to walk to Railay Beach next door via a track over rocks through trees (around 15 minutes, moderately strenuous in parts). It was the perfect stay.

This hotel was paradise. We wanted relaxation and we got served it. It was on a semi private beach so not many people around. The hotel offers transportation to and from railey for 600 bahts but if you ask the guys on Railey beach and tonsai beach it’s half the price so we opted for these options. We also only had snacks at the hotel as there are amazing restaurants behind the wall of the hotel. We were scared we’d be forced to eat at their restaurant but we weren’t due to the others on the island. They were all super tasty and very traditional (we didn’t want western food). Staff was super kind and room is unbelievable. Breakfast was really good too

I'm hesitant to leave a review since the more excellent reviews the hotel has the more complicated it will be for me to book it next time :D Amazing villas surrounded by palm trees, a lot of birds, animals, you are literally living in a jungle so expect guests (or hosts in this case) at your balcony and doors waiting for you outside. Obviously you have everything you need like air con, all toitleries, bath robes etc, TV (don't know who can watch TV instead of the view around you? but anyway). so from the outside this is a wooden hut and from the inside a comfortable hotel room. Plenty of places to sit, watch the sunset, swings, etc. Very nice restaurant, tasty food, fruit freshes.

The transfer especially during low tide. Everyone arriving here should understand that it's the long tail boat only so think twice about the size of your luggage (though the hotel staff meets you at the beach and take your luggage to your villa with a golf car, just let them know you arrived). The pool is relatively small, but compared to the number of hotel guests - there is enough place for everyone.

Our stay at Tinidee Hideaway Tonsai Beach Krabi was truly unforgettable! The staff were fantastic – always friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. A major highlight was the New Year’s Eve celebration, which was incredibly well-organized. The decorations, activities, and countdown on the beach created an amazing festive vibe, making it a night to remember! One thing to note for future guests is that during the day, you can constantly hear the sound of long-tail boats traveling between the nearby beaches. While it’s part of the local charm, it might take some getting used to if you’re looking for complete peace and quiet. Summary: Tinidee Hideaway Tonsai Beach offers a unique and unforgettable experience with its stunning location and great service. Just be prepared for the hum of long-tail boats during the day and hope they dial back the music volume at events in the future!

As for the New Year’s dinner and countdown, while the overall organization was great, the music was SO loud that it was nearly impossible to hear yourself think – let alone have a conversation! Even during the countdown to midnight, the volume overshadowed the festive moment a bit. It’s something the hotel could definitely work on for future events.

this hotel is located on Tonsai beach, which truly is only accessible by boat. any other options, involve hiking across the rocks surrounding the beach. not doable with anything more than a light backpack. we loved the room, the view, the space, the quietness, it was a great experience. and being surrounded by rocks, palmtrees and beach/sea, gives it an experience like a movie-scene breakfast is fresh and plentyful, view from the restaurant, the deck next to the cocktailbar and pool are all great. pool is big enough and there are plenty of seats and benches for all guests. all lodges are far apart, all have sea view. few small bars available beyond the hotel's premises, and opportunity to do rockclimbing too.

we loved the whole experience, but the boatride to get there was very rough.. we recommend you don't travel at low tide, as you then need to carry your luggage well into the sea to get to the nearest longtail boat. don't travel after sunset, or in high wind conditions, you'll feel like it will be your last boatride ever. the way back, during high tide and low wind, was a walk in the park.

Beautiful place. So nice and quiet compares to Railay. Beautiful scenery, great pool, bar etc. Just gorgeous. Of you want to do something more alternative, go to the bar in the right corner (back to the sea) at the other hotel. Or walk behind the wall (via the boat-section in the left corner) to see the 'town'.

We got a familyroom as that was the only room that would fit our child and us, Booking said. Unfortunetely, the family room turned out to be a bog disappointment. It is in a not so nice building where you pass the utilities room. It has no balcony. I think it used to be a dorm or something: bunkbeds and a bathroom with 2 toilets and 2 showers. Not cosy, not so nice. Would have loved to have 1 of the cottages.

• The resort far exceeded our expectations: a truly paradisiacal place to disconnect and unwind. • Located in a beautiful, untouched bay, just 15 minutes away from Ao Nang by long-tail boat. • Everything is well maintained: private beach, pool, bar, and common areas are clean and tastefully kept. • We stayed in one of the stilt villas — charming and very clean, especially considering the jungle setting. • The overall cleanliness is impressive and above average for a location so immersed in nature. • The staff was kind and helpful: we appreciated the use of golf card for luggage and the coordination of boat transfers. • It’s clear that the management is constantly improving the structure and addressing previous issues. • They take guest feedback seriously — several problems mentioned in older reviews had already been resolved. • The short path connecting the bay to Ao Nang via Tonsai Beach is manageable with closed shoes, not dangerous or particularly difficult. • The grounds and gardens are well cared for and spotless.

• Some small gaps in the villa structure still allow insects to enter (we noticed a few small gecos in the bathroom), although staff responded quickly. • Some sealing work (e.g., silicone used to close holes) could be improved for better protection against insects. • During low season, despite having few guests, we noticed occasional forgetfulness from the restaurant staff. • Limited evening activities: the bar closed early every night, and the outdoor fire pit was never used. • Given the secluded location, extending the bar hours would be highly appreciated — guests would likely stay, relax, and enjoy a drink.

Amazing location. Cliffs, coconut palms, beach without people. Breakfast was tasty and enjoyable. Nice dinner outside.

Cottages are relatively basic and expensive. Other accommodations with the same price level we had offered much more luxury, not just a basic room where rain pours in through badly patched windows. Also prices in restaurant basically double to any other places in Thailand and not higher quality. The biggest issue is transportation. Going there, we had to go over the cliff with the luggage, using ropes, because boat captain rejected to go due to the waves. Also, our way to the airport was complicated for the same reason.
