I was really worried about this booking because of the reviews, but after more than 40 days of traveling, this turned out to be one of the nicest surprises! I stayed in room C10, which is located near the end of the property. At first I thought it would be one of the worst ones, but as soon as I walked in, I loved it! The room was spacious, looked new and well-designed. The bed was relatively comfortable, and the pillows too. There was a wardrobe, a desk, a mini fridge, and a kettle — really convenient. The place itself is beautiful, peaceful, and very well located. The staff were hard-working, always cleaning and keeping things tidy, and they were also very kind and respectful. I don’t know what all the rooms are like, but mine was a double room with AC, and it was a real pleasure to stay here. I’d definitely come back without hesitation. This is not a criticism of this place specifically, but I’ve noticed that many accommodations in southern Thailand don’t include breakfast. This hotel has a restaurant, and meals are paid separately, but it’s always nice when breakfast is included — especially if it’s good quality, as it really improves and elevates the overall experience.

I like the location on the east side of Railay. The staff are really nice and very friendly. It was my second stay here in two years. This stay I took the standard room but prefer the superior room I had stayed in the year before. It's worth paying that small amount extra for the superior room. We arrived a day late and they adjusted our check out date to a day later than our booking so we didn't loose the day we had already paid for. That was unexpected and much appreciated 👏 😊. I would definitely stay here again!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Railay Viewpoint Resort in Railay Beach and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. The resort itself is very nice and cozy. During my stay, I encountered a small issue with my AC unit leaking water. However, the amazing staff member named Non went above and beyond to assist me. Not only did he promptly address the issue and fix it, but he also took the time to ensure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed for the rest of my stay. Non's exceptional customer service truly made my experience at the Railay Viewpoint Resort unforgettable. I was impressed by his professionalism, kindness, and dedication to ensuring that guests have a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and on a budget getaway in Railay Beach. Thank you, Non, for your outstanding service!

Great location on Railay, walking to beaches on both sides are very nice. Rooms are not bad, may have seen some years, but maintained okay. Worked out for our family. Breakfast included was very nice. Cafeteria offers very good food throughout the day, we ate there multiple times, kids enjoyed it too. Pool was enjoyable also.

For the most part, it is clean, just feels a bit old and needs some update. Bed could be upgraded for sure, spring mattress was a little rough…but our family are okay with them, I can see why others would complain about it though.

Location was perfect as away from the lively side but all within 10/15 minutes walking distance. Right on the beach, lovely rooms. Staff were great

How steep the rooms were, don't stay here if your not very mobile or have breathing difficulties. We we're put in one of the steepest rooms, but I refused to stay as I have COPD. It would have killed me. The staff moved us to one of the lower level rooms without any bother at all. The biggest negative I will say is the pool looked like a ghost town, the pool itself was great but no bar was open and didn't look like it's Bern open for months and the toilets were absolutely disgusting full to the brim with poo that definitely hadn't just happened, looked like they had not been cleaned for years.

Great location! Close to a lot of restaurants and shops. Super close walk to several beaches and piers. The staff were amazing, every morning they would bring toilet paper and water bottles, and were always very helpful with any questions. Room was comfy, air conditioning worked great, everything was really clean. The pool was nice! Clean and a good size. A plus: they have tortoises and chickens on the property which was super fun.

The rooms were traditional in style with a 'wet room' style bathroom. We had a partial view of the mountains from our balcony. The staff were amazing and helped us when my son was ill. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was great and the restaurant had a great view of the sea. Shops, bars and restaurant were within walking distance. When they ran out of food at breakfast, they made a fresh batch straight away. There were tortoises and chickens roaming around the communal ground which was lovely.

The place was tidy, had a lovely staff, a pool big enough for a little swim and play, a good buffet breakfast. The room was tidy, had ok beds and a working air con but had nothing extra in it - good in our opinion, we didn't pay for any extras. But a bonus was to see tortoises and chicken on the hotel grounds. Maybe not everyone likes a rooster welcoming the day but we thought it was adorable. We liked the quiet location off the main beaches but of course that came with a short walk

Nice big spacious rooms, a fridge and freezer which was really nice. Lots of luggage space and wardrobes. Little niceties like waterbottles, tea/coffee supplies and showering goods. The pool and sunbeds was really nice, nice place to meet other guests. I really liked the aesthetics of the place, the plants, chickens and Flintstone jungle vibe.

The only thing I can think of maybe some more fruit options for breakfast and different breads, but really the place was fantastic I thought it was great.

So over priced compared to last time we stayed. Its a nice place to stay but it is not a high end resort and that should be reflected in the price. Being so over priced would make me look elsewhere next time. Also the restaurant now shuts far too early, I understand it being too quiet for so many staff who end up standing around but it should be open until 4 as 2 is too early for lunch to finish.
