The room was clean, smelt nice and it was a comfortable stay. If you need help with luggage should you arrive into Railway West or East contact them ahead of time and they will arrange a cart and a guy to help you with your bags, it's 200THB. If your luggage is manageable the walk from West to East is a 15 max 20 minute walk. If you arrive to East its a short 5-7 minute walk. If you arrive to West you have to jump out of the longtail boats onto the shore.. they generally help you a little with your luggage! But something to take note depending on how light you are traveling..and you can take another longtail boat to East that has a manageable pier stretch for you to walk onto, they charged me 400THB for solo person travel. If you are a group it can from 600 to 800THB There are steps to climb when you arrive to hotel, however, they have a track and cart to help get your luggage up to the top, whilst you have to walk.

Very relaxed place in amazing nature and jungle around. Good location and great staff. I stayed there 6 nights and I moved in the middle. Recommend about the deluxe bungalow, they have an amazing view in their rooftop. A bit extra money than the most cheap option but great value for money.

In my first bungalow was a water leak near the toilet. Like I said I highly recommend to take the deluxe bungalow, it’s better facilities

Good value for price. They have a swimming pool that I didn't have time to use but looked nice, and some common areas for chilling in the shade. I wouldn´t recommend for someone with mobility issues as there are lot of stairs leading to the property (they have a cable car kind of thing for suitcases though). Located on Railay East so you have to walk quite a bit to the beach but lot of shops and bars are close and there is also a view of the sea from the chilling area. They have two dogs. Staff was nice, rooms were fine. Everything was clean. They also have a restaurant. I recommend for budget travelers!

We absolutely loved our stay with Rapala Rock Wood Resort while we were in Railay for 15 nights. The bungalow was exceptional, clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The bed was large and comfy, and the bathroom was very clean with hot water. The restaurant was amazing and the food was fresh and delicious, we ate here most days. The fresh fruit smoothies were a favourite, and the spicy papaya salad! We loved the rooftop balcony and watching thunderstorms roll in, felt like magic. The bungalows are up a hillside so be prepared to get in some extra steps for a healthy heart but it was all manageable and enjoyable. The scenery was breathtaking and overall we loved it here. We would stay here again, the service, the family friendly vibes and hospitality was standout and a huge highlight for us. Thank you for having us and we will see you again when we come back to Railay!

I absolutely love this place. The rooms/bungalows were huge and very well equipped. The bed was huge too, there were 3 windows in the main room. The bathroom was really nicely decorated. The room had great AC, fridge, and everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. The rooms even smelled nice. Outside you had a balcony area with a built in bench which was a great place to spend some time in the evening. On top of your room there was a sun terrace with deckchairs and a cover. I was very impressed by the whole place and would happily live there. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool was small (more of a paddling pool really) but a nice place for a dip after a busy or hot day. The communal areas were comfortable and relaxing with great views. There were quite a few steps up to the place but also an automatic trolley to get your bags up. If you don't like steps, this place might not be for you. Location-wise it's perfect really, very quiet in the evening but still with all the stuff you might need on your doorstep. As you can tell, I liked it a lot.

Nothing.

A new accommodation experience. The houses in nature were great! The experience of waking up in the morning to macaques jumping on your roof. The sounds of nature at night and during were priceless. The hotel staff was very helpful and the hotel is in an excellent location.

If you would like to go to the city of Ao Nang in the evening, where you have to take a longtail boat, be sure not to go later than after six o'clock in the evening. You will have a hard time getting to sleep... and the trip will cost you 1200 baht, which is a crazy amount for a 10 minute ride. However, this complaint has nothing to do with the hotel, it is only an advice for guests to stay on the island in the evening.

Everything! We had such a great time here. We enjoyed Railay in general, but this property helped us to have an unforgettable experience. We loved the roof terrace of our bungalow, spent a lot of time there enjoying the views and watching the wildlife. We also loved the restaurant for the food and views. The staff was so amazing! I had a birthday during my stay, and they congratulated me and even gave me a beach blanket as a present and a small pie, it was so so sweet! Also, when we reported that the hot water didn't work, it was fixed directly. Everything was clean and comfortable. If we ever go to Railay again, would absolutely stay here one more time. We really felt so cozy and comfortable and welcome here that we wete sad to leave.

The view is super nice. The personal are so kind and understanding, they help me to cancel one night out of charges cause I was arriving to late to Krabi, and won’t be able to catch a long tail to get to railay. The villas are rustic but have all you need, jut not a refrigerator or maybe I didn’t pay attention of the kind of villa I book, but otherwise that it have air conditioning, a beautiful terrace in every villa, and nice pool.

You better know to get to the hotel you need a boat tail, so is better to arrive early, and to get to the front desk and all the facilities you have to go up a long but nice the stairs, you also pay attention cause a snake just falls down while I was going up that stairs.

My partner and I stayed at the Rapala Rock Wood Resort for a few days. The location, 10 minutes walk to East Railay floating pier is great. This helps with any longtail taxis back to Ao Nang or tours of the various islands in and around Krabi. The resort was great, right in front of the mangroves and with a sea view. Perfect for a stay in Railay, with the West Railay beach being a 15 minute walk away and the beautiful Phra Nang beach being a similar distance away. There is a restaurant which serves breakfast and other meals, a pool, small workout area and seating areas with a view of the sea. A great place to stay in Railay.

The resort is at the end of East beach up a lot of steps, which we thought might be an issue but for us but it turned out to be ideal.. We realised that a lot of things are reached via East beach - the beautiful Phra nang beach, viewpoint, shops and restaurants, climbing spots and the ferry pier. The resort restaurant was a great hang out spot with a beautiful view and we really enjoyed the restaurant food, eating there a number of times. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We liked our room, it was regularly cleaned and the resort was quiet.
