This hotel is the most beautiful and welcoming hotel I have ever been to. We stayed in room T888 which is a triple room just off from the main building - it was exquisite! The room was immaculately clean, an incredible size with a beautiful bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool area. The pool is clean, ample size and the view it looks out to is gorgeous. You are surrounded by mountains where you can watch people rock climb but it feels like your own private oasis. Breakfast was wonderful - all the food and drink you can imagine, beautifully presented. The shuttle service is great but it is not far to walk to either beach. However, the most incredible part of this hotel is the staff. They are kind, helpful and so so wonderful! They will do anything for you and are always there to greet with a smile. I have never met such pleasant and friendly staff at any other hotel I have been to. Special shout out to John, Nan and Augn! They really looked after us over the two nights we were here. We attended the New Years Eve celebration and it was one of the best New Years we’ve had. It was so much fun with Thai dancing, fire shows and lots of food. Thank you so much to everyone at Phutawan for a lovely two night stay. We will definitely be back. Karen, Gary and Bethany.

Everything is perfect. The best what you can find in Railay. Food in the restaurant is also the best in the whole bay.

Internet could be better, but I guess it’s everywhere here same.

We loved this hotel so much last time we visited, we booked to come back. We still loved the location, the pool and the views. And the whole vibe of Railay. The staff were still very helpful and attentive. The newly built poolside restaurant was also lovely.

The rooms however could use some TLC. There is a huge gap in the seal between the patio doors, and around the front door, which means that mosquitos are constantly getting in. We had to buy two huge cans of bug spray to spray our rooms every night to stop from being bitten to death. The sunbeds at the pool are also annoying as they are fixed in place so you can't flatten them down to tan your back. The pool is also slightly on the warm side. Its been 36 degrees and if the pool was a little cooler it would feel so much nicer to get in. But these are all small issues with what is otherwise a lovely hotel.

The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. It's the prettiest hotel I've ever stayed at. The scenery around it, looking at the rock/mountains from the pool, is stunning. The room was large and comfortable and breakfast delicious. The staff who served drinks and around the pool were really lovely and went out of their way to look after us.

This is not the place for you if you can't walk uphill! There's a tuktuk to take you from the floating pier, but if it's not there, or late at night it's an uphill walk. I didn't find it challenging but I know others did. It's worth it for the hotel and views though!

There were works going on as they are building pool side bar and it was pretty noisy during the day. Mosquitoes around pool side - which can happen in this kind of setup and weather. Would highly recommend packing insect repellent Access to Ao Nang / main Krabi town after 5pm is a bit of an issue and the charge goes up to 500 baht per person, steep jump from day charge of 100 baht.

The location is perfect – situated on a hill with stunning views of the sea and mountains. The hotel surroundings are beautiful and well-maintained. The staff is very helpful and always ready to assist. To me, this hotel seemed like the most beautiful one in the area, with the best location and views. The food at the restaurant is delicious, and the breakfast selection is wide and satisfying. The bungalow we stayed in was excellent – very spacious with a comfortable bed. If you're going to Railay Beach, this is definitely the place to stay!

Spectacular location the gardens the views the architecture everything was just stunning. It’s so much better than the pictures and I loved the location a bit of a walk from the beach but only 1015 minutes they do offer an hourly shuttle on the walk up. There’s lots of limestones and monkeys so we enjoy the walk anyway. The rooms all have beautiful views because the location is smack bang surrounded by limestones and greenery. You can also see the sunset from the pool if you don’t want to go down to the beach it really was just 10 out of 10.

Breakfast was okay could be a bigger selection reception. Staff wernt friendliest by everybody else was.

We loved our stay at this hotel and would happily rate it 4 stars based on our experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed — check-in came with a lovely welcome drink, and the staff were kind and attentive. We stayed in a garden villa, which was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The views from the pool are absolutely stunning — a perfect spot to unwind. The hotel is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from East Railay Pier, making it easy to explore the area. Breakfast was fresh and enjoyable, with plenty of options. Overall, we had a very relaxing 2-day stay and would definitely return. Loved it!
