New, facilities up to date, nice grounds. Food good for breakfast but long wait for dinner only ate dinner once as so many other choices nearby. We had a private pool, which was great. Huge room and bed. Staff very nice and helpful. Great happy hour in swim up pool, big pool very nice.

Was near pier and noisy boats but that’s a part of a lot of Thailand. Singer in an open air bar next door every night too loud. Bushes to entrance of our room needed cutting as there’s not enough room for 2 sunbeds by the pool and to get in and out of cramped entrance to room as bushes grown over walkway.

Beds are super large that it could fit couple with 2 small kids in Deluxe Double room.Sofa beds and cot are set up for free. Clean pools and clean room with comfortable beds and pillows. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast that are basic but have alternate fried noodles, rice, soup and buns as well with served coffee! We find it amusing to be so close up with Monkeys can pay a surprise visit so be sure to lock rooms and clear of any food plastics on balcony. Kids love the big clean bathtub. I like the separate for shower and toilet! Big room with spacious balcony on Deluxe double room for less than 130 paid by credit card with no admin fee like some other hotel that charges 3%. I have to praise the amazing housekeeping lady who’s done an awesome role in making sure we have all we need in the room. Excellent staff at the restaurant too!

Internet need to be log in every time we were back in the room and it indicated unsecured access! We Cindy manage to get a SIM card so had to use free Wife! I was afraid to check on my banking app as I got a scam email from the hotel that had been compromised in the Booking.com app before I got there but nothing lost so far other though I will need to replace a new card as I have given the scammmer my whole card cvc details! Booking.com communicated promptly with the hotel to assure me not to make any payments over other web links provided by the scammer! Have to pay for my 8 years old child breakfast 300b/day though she barely had nothing more than a bowl of cereal! Small issue though the overall stay outshine the little fee.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, the room was very spacious and like the pictures (the bed was huge!), and the surrounding nature was beautiful. The breakfast was also extensive, with multiple egg options, thai food options, salad bar, coffee, and different juices. It was also nice that the thai and side dishes varied from day to day. There were also cute monkeys running around everywhere! Wifi is generally okay but disconnects every so often, and sometimes streaming takes too long to load.

The east beach isn't swimmable (you have to walk to the west Railay beach or other neighboring beaches), so not really on the beachfront. The hotel also does not provide any tour services, and there were few available hangers for towels in the room. Also, this has nothing to do with the hotel itself, but the surrounding area and especially the path to west Railay beach is unfortunately not the cleanest (lots of debris/litter lying around and unpleasant smells). I'm not sure if other touristy places in Krabi are similar, but it was kind of jarring to experience in such a beautiful place.

This place was absolute luxury. The room was very big, clean and the beds were so comfortable! The waterfall shower was a big treat, and the toiletries smelled amazing! We spent a lot of time in the pool because it was just so amazing. The pool bar with a happy hour was the cherry on the cake. Staff were very attentive and friendly. We had a great time here, would really recommend.

The only negative was being woken up by staff cleaning the upstairs room before 9am, which went on for an hour. If you want a lie in or are a light sleeper, I would recommend asking for a room on the top floor. We didn't mind so much as it meant more time in the pool 🤣

The resort is beautiful, set against a backdrop of mountains and mangroves and located just a short walk from Railay and Phra Nang Beaches. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby keep it lively even through low season. The pool and lounge areas were the highlight – relaxing, airy, gorgeous decor. The swim up bar is the perfect place to chill with a happy hour cocktail, we had a lot of fun chatting with other guests and enjoying the vibe. Buffet breakfast was also really good - lots of variety.

Our room was a little tired in terms of décor, but still comfortable and the huge bath was a bonus after exploring all day.

The room was a good size, like the separate dressing room. Also the fact that there was a separate toilet and shower. The room was clean, aircon worked well. The pool area and swim up bar were nice and not overlooked. The staff were all friendly! The lighting in the room felt a bit more well thought out than other places we stayed. Dimmer switches were good. Plenty of storage space. Breakfast was okay, food abit cold but no different to anywhere else we’ve been. Happy hour at the pool bar between 2-5pm. Lots of tiny frogs could be seen hopping around the resort when it rained. The pool bar seemed to have a resident small parrot which was cute and stood on the barmans shoulder whilst he made cocktails. Good location, really close to the pier and at night the lights at the hotel were really pretty!

The bath took a while to fill (however it was huge).

Location is amazing - just off the Railay East floating pier (this is the non-swimmable side), so relatively far from the most busy bits, however Railay overall is so small that everything is in a max 10 mins walking distance. Also good location to start boat tours. Staff is very nice - although that was our experience literally everywhere in Thailand - from the reception, through the pool bar etc, just very very nice people:) Garden, pool area and the whole property is just pleasing to the eye.

Overall, we liked the place, but there are things for improvement, overall you feel in some cases that just a bit of attention would make this hotel THE perfect place. Rooms are big and clean enough, but they are a bit old, especially the bathroom facilities could do with some renovation work Breakfast selection is wide, however the hotel could pay more attention to keeping cold & fresh some of the food There was one instance that we asked for some drinking water / towel / bin emptying service and nothing happened for hours, although following up twice… Again, overall service was good, but it was just weird and adding to the list of minor things missing

Perfect location, surrounded by limestone cliffs, right next to the floating pier. We LOVED the pool bar and all of the incredible staff. They were always busy and seemed understaffed, yet this never once affected the their wonderful customer service and attention to detail. The breakfast buffet was always delish, and I loved that the staff took your coffee order rather than having a self serve machine. We’re from Melbourne (coffee snobs) and this was a big tick for us.

There isn’t anything I’d say I didn’t like about the property, these are merely observations that perhaps may be an issue for someone else. Our room, while big, beautiful and clean, looked a little dated. However, not an issues for us as we were in there for sleeping and freshening up. If you are not a fan of monkeys or cats, you may want to avoid. In saying that, monkeys and cats are the locals in Railay, so you’d be best avoiding the area altogether. I personally loved the monkeys visiting in the morning, and was adopted by a beautiful calico cat during our stay, so these were highlights for me.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel! The property is gorgeous with great views of the striking Krabi hills. The pool and swim up bar was fantastic with lots of drink options and plenty of seating at the pool. The restaurant was also exceptional and the breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious too with different options every day. The hotel is very close to the pier where the boat drops you off. It is not on either East or West Railay beach but it is walking distance to both and the walk is very enjoyable with shops and restaurants and monkeys one way and caves and cliffs the other way. I would highly recommend this hotel! Make sure to book the airport pick up! A driver will come get you from the airport and bring you to the little port, where a boat will take you the rest of the way.

The hotel itself does not have direct beach access. There really aren't hotels on East Railay beach (the closest beach) and there are mostly restaurants near West Railay beach. The lack of hotels on East Railay is really nice though and makes it more picturesque.

Overall it was a great stay at Bhu Nga Thani resort - we were warmly welcomed by the staff (including the support with luggage once we arrived to the floating pier), the hotel itself makes great first impression with the building itself as well as great service provided by the staff. The rooms are spacious, really comfortable and clean. Breakfasts were really nice, although the food offer was quite repetitive - again, the restaurant team is super friendly and makes you feel like at home, thank you! The pool is great too!

Not really a minus, but you should be aware that the hotel is within 10-minutes walking distance to the main Railay Beach, the east coast does not have such beautiful sandy beach. There could be a bit of a smell coming from the bay but that's not disturbing, especially taking into account all the advantages of the hotel :)
