I am a returning customer. I was here back in September 2019. The positives I can confirm are the location as it is roughly just a five to ten minute walk to Terminal 21 Shopping Centre and the Asoke MRT platform were you can travel to most parts of Bangkok using the BTS Skytrain, an efficient and much better option to taxis and tuk tuk's. As for the residence it is good value with a good and varied breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable beds and the staff is also very polite and helpful. The gym is not big but has enough equipment to do a good workout.

What I've noticed from my stay in 2019 is that the residence, in its entirety is due for a bit of tlc and upgrade to retain the standard it deserves. This time the room I was given was rather small, though functional and bathroom sink needs to be strengthened as it was slightly lob sided and the shower had no door or curtain so water easily ends up outside. The TV's needs upgrading too as the remote was not functioning well.

I was a little nervous because reviews were either great or awful. It's not luxury, but it was comfortable. For me the location was perfect for what I was there for, though traffic on the street was kind of busy. There were small things like a crack on the wall, but I didn't really view it as something worth being upset or disappointed over it enough to give it a lower review. Some reviews I saw mentioned it. It was comfortable and not too loud, I didn't get to see the pool. If I come back, I'd be comfortable to bring my eight-year-old. I think it was great for the price and recommend it.

I'd say the only thing that kind of annoyed me was when I had checked out I was waiting for the car. Obviously, it was hot, so I didn't want to sit outside; as I mentioned, the traffic was kind of busy on the street, so it probably takes triple the time it should for a car to arrive. The staff was kind of pushy asking about leaving. I could understand if they were really busy, but there wasn't anyone else there. I only had one carry on size bag so it wasn't like I was filling the lobby with my bags. I wasn't going to sit outside, it isn't like I had been there over an hour or something. Living and working in the area they're more than aware of how the traffic is. I showed him my app and told him I'm waiting for a car.

Clean, comfortable location, quiet street but next to main road

I didn't like that they wanted me to pay for a condom that I have not even looked at and did not touch. It was really embarrassing standing in the lobby and hearing that. I am a woman and staying in the hotel by myself. Not nice! That means that they didn't check who used that box previously and just embarrassed me!

Location: The hotel's location is excellent. It's a short walk from the main street and the hustle and bustle, but it's also quiet and peaceful, perfect for a good night's sleep. Room: The room was very spacious and well-equipped with a desk for working, a kitchenette, and two balconies. Breakfast: The breakfast was good with a variety of options to choose from. Overall: I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in

The high rating is done when looking at the cost, being mindful of the facilities in their current state. There were a few things that I have noticed that have deteriorated since my last stay that need urgent attention, but the low cost and convenient location, and good service, make up for these.

The room itself was great and exactly as I've had staying here before. A few things I noticed however were loose screws on the gym equipment (dumbells) which are a safety issue, the treadmill is well worn and slipping quite badly. The guest shower located in the lift lobby that was kindly offered after checking out and before my flight, was broken so I had to 'shower' under a spout located 1m above floor level as the water was not reaching the shower head. The owners need to invest some money in having these issues fixed. The buffet breakfast is also not as well appointed as it was during my last stay.

Extremely great value for money. Perfect for short stays, we were only there for 2 nights. Room was small but perfect for 2 nights. Comfortable bed, modern bathroom, shower has good pressure. Staff friendly and helpful. Room service is cheap but limited options and closes 530pm Gym was handy has there isn't much close by. Overall it was a really nice hotel thanks

Location probably not best as there isn't much around like restaurants and modern dining, plenty of street food options however. A lot of coffee shops also but just coffee, most of them don't do food. Perfect for short stays but i wouldn't stay here again just because of the location on a busy main road with the crazy traffic, it look a long time to order taxis and grab each we wanted to go and come back

About 40 minutes by Grab taxi from the Suvarnabhumi Airport, the Asoke residence is located within walking distance to 3 Metro stations, Soi Cowboy and the very large Terminal 21 Asok shopping mall. The large comfortable room was equipped with snacks and a minibar and there is a 7-11 convenience store at the residence entrance (about 75 metres from reception). Nearby are many small cafes and restaurants.

The fitness centre requires some maintenance on some of the machines. The road in front of the residence is very busy in the morning and afternoon rush hour ... typical Bangkok (allow a few minutes if you are waiting for a taxi or Grab).

Great location, friendly staff, nice and rich breakfast, close to all things needed. Will come visit again.

We had two 2 BR apartments for 3 families (11pax) and they were huge. We stayed at Asoke for 3 nights and 4 days. There's a gym for adults and a tiny pool for kids which were utilised well. The breakfast spread was delicious and they had different options everyday. 7/11 is right at the turning, it's a 2 mins walk. It's close to many touristy areas in BKK downtown. Loved it, fully recommend it!

The only thing that I didn't like was the unventilated, slow, tiny elevator. The turn towards Asoke can be easily missed (we missed it twice!), just turn left before 7/11

I liked the studio room setup. Great big comfortable bed and armchair. Newly renovated. Nice bathroom. Lovely view out the floor to ceiling windows onto a leafy, green park surrounded further back by high rises. The staff were instantly available and very helpful. Wifi improved and stable after technician adjustment. Location central at the end of a short Soi 21 off the main road linking Sukhamvit and Phetchaburi Stations. Only 10 minute walk to Makassan Sky Train link to Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Breakfast price a little on the high side for everyday use. Internet Services were not available for this room.
