Great location to explore Bangkok from - lots of shops/restaurants/bars in the area as well as close to the metro. Hotel also has a pool and bar area too where it was nice to cool off after a day of exploring. Hotel was fairly modern although sometimes there were long queues to use the lifts.

We had to move rooms as the first room we were given had a strong smell of cigarettes but the front desk were helpful with getting us relocated. Unfortunately the rooftop bar was only open to members of the hotel group which was a shame as the photos of the rooftop looked great so if you are hoping to use this, just FYI you might have to pay a premium.

Excellent clean room and bathroom with good layout. Very good breakfast. Quiet location but steps away to the very busy and noisy Sukhumvit 11 night life. Great bars and restaurants nearby and 7 Elevan 24 hr stores accross the street from hotel. Indian rooftop restaurant and a British pub on ground level.

The rooms could be a little more cleaner. Some of the furniture looks run down.

The hotel was lovely and the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and the views from the club room were great. Breakfast and evening canapes were really good.

We could have been warned in advance that the pool was having maintenance and we would have to use the pool next door.

Was here for 8 nights end of October 2024. Solitaire was a beautiful hotel. Worth all of its 4 star rating. Rooms were clean, beds super comfortable, daily housekeeping, and staff were terrific. Karon & Tan were so wonderful and welcoming. Nothing was too hard for them. All the staff, cleaners, restaurant, bar, concierge, bellmen, were all wonderful. The pool and spa were clean, plenty of pool towels and chairs. Plus 2 for 1 cocktails during the day. The breakfasts were great, plenty of variety, and the egg station was a great bonus for hot fresh scrambled eggs or an omelette. They have a shuttle (large tuk tuk) 3 times a day to Terminal 21, as well as regular shuttles to Nana BTS. Would highly recommend, and will certainly stay again for our next trip. Regards, Corey. To start, the night receptionist was so helpful. He was a delight. The room was perfect. Nice decor, air-conditioning was good. Room was very clean. On the ground floor, just at the end if the pool. Quiet in the room. Block out curtains. It was fabulous. The pool was huge and there were plenty of deck chairs to lay on. Bar near the pool, and a wide selection of food. The food was delicious. Staff were lovely. A tour desk right outside the hotel lobby. And Cindy there was lovely too. The hotel is a couple of blocks from the beach. Great position. Overall I was extremely happy here.

Clean and sophisticated rooms, staff were polite and pleasant, enjoyed the quiet of the less exclusive floors which are in seperate entrance.

The smoking room floors were hard to avoid and smoke could be smelt through.

Amazing pool area. Very comfortable bed. Very dark room with no sound pollution or light pollution meaning you get an amazing sleep. Stroll away from all amenities. Fantastic breakfast.

We arrived early so had to wait to check in so we were asked to come back in 2 hours and when we came back they said another hour. They ask for a 2.000 Baht deposit for key cards. Room could do with a deep clean in certain areas although not noticeable unless you look closely.

Mr A is the best! He arranged all the transportation I needed while in Thailand. Clean spacious rooms.

The elevator card reader in the ruby wing needs attention. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. If it doesn’t work, you can’t get to your room or you have to walk the stairs.

Super location, proximity to sky train, subway, boat by canal, restaurants, leisure places. Spacious room, clean, very nice view from the rooftop restaurant. Staff is very friendly and responsive.

No fresh air as no balcony, window to open, only AC that was blowing on the bed too. Water's temperature fluctuates - most probably instant heating. Breakfast structure the same every day, few variations, juices from the carton box, free coffee is instant coffee. But maybe these are minor things for many people. Also, if you arrive before midday, you may have to wait until 12.00-15.00 - personal experience, I reached early morning (6.30 am) and even if I mentioned 3 times by booking.com I need early check-in I got the room after 5h of sleeping on a chair near the swimming pool... maybe indeed all rooms were occupied ( mid-January experience)
