Great location to explore Bangkok from - lots of shops/restaurants/bars in the area as well as close to the metro. Hotel also has a pool and bar area too where it was nice to cool off after a day of exploring. Hotel was fairly modern although sometimes there were long queues to use the lifts.

We had to move rooms as the first room we were given had a strong smell of cigarettes but the front desk were helpful with getting us relocated. Unfortunately the rooftop bar was only open to members of the hotel group which was a shame as the photos of the rooftop looked great so if you are hoping to use this, just FYI you might have to pay a premium.

Everything to start with. The location was great as it was accessible to the everything. The hotel has a very positive atmosphere The pool area was very cosy together with the jacuzzi. You have the bar outside where you can chill. Gym and sauna were nice. The staff were really helpful. Especially Mr A who organised a few trips for me and my wife. As it was my wife birthday, a cruise was organised with the cake cutting. Also a cake was offered by the hotel on the birthday. Again MR A, Mr T and the security boy ( I forgot his name) came and celebrated together. It’s a place to go again. Food was very delicious and even when we had to leave early for trip, they organise take away for us. Very happy and grateful to spend my first holiday in Bangkok at Solitaire Hotel.

Excellent clean room and bathroom with good layout. Very good breakfast. Quiet location but steps away to the very busy and noisy Sukhumvit 11 night life. Great bars and restaurants nearby and 7 Elevan 24 hr stores accross the street from hotel. Indian rooftop restaurant and a British pub on ground level.

Booked a Suite room with Club lounge access on a high floor. Room was great, very spacious with separate living room. Bathroom very nice, hot water great for a long soak in the tub. Lounge very nice, good happy hour. Good selection of free food and free flow wine / spirits. Breakfast menu in the lounge very good. Didn't try the main breakfast area. Didn't use the gym or the pool so can't comment on those things.

Staff downstairs not very helpful on arrival. No one to pick up bags from the taxi or assist with doors, etc. Hotel is a little bit of a walk from Sukhumvit road. Free shuttle bus is available however it doesn't run very often.

The hotel was lovely and the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and the views from the club room were great. Breakfast and evening canapes were really good.

We could have been warned in advance that the pool was having maintenance and we would have to use the pool next door.

Was here for 8 nights end of October 2024. Solitaire was a beautiful hotel. Worth all of its 4 star rating. Rooms were clean, beds super comfortable, daily housekeeping, and staff were terrific. Karon & Tan were so wonderful and welcoming. Nothing was too hard for them. All the staff, cleaners, restaurant, bar, concierge, bellmen, were all wonderful. The pool and spa were clean, plenty of pool towels and chairs. Plus 2 for 1 cocktails during the day. The breakfasts were great, plenty of variety, and the egg station was a great bonus for hot fresh scrambled eggs or an omelette. They have a shuttle (large tuk tuk) 3 times a day to Terminal 21, as well as regular shuttles to Nana BTS. Would highly recommend, and will certainly stay again for our next trip. Regards, Corey. The rooms could be a little more cleaner. Some of the furniture looks run down.

To start, the night receptionist was so helpful. He was a delight. The room was perfect. Nice decor, air-conditioning was good. Room was very clean. On the ground floor, just at the end if the pool. Quiet in the room. Block out curtains. It was fabulous. The pool was huge and there were plenty of deck chairs to lay on. Bar near the pool, and a wide selection of food. The food was delicious. Staff were lovely. A tour desk right outside the hotel lobby. And Cindy there was lovely too. The hotel is a couple of blocks from the beach. Great position. Overall I was extremely happy here.

Clean and sophisticated rooms, staff were polite and pleasant, enjoyed the quiet of the less exclusive floors which are in seperate entrance.

The smoking room floors were hard to avoid and smoke could be smelt through.

Friendly professional staff, large comfortable room on the 14th floor with a great city outlook. Plenty of local entertainment and restaurant venues within easy walking distance, but watch out for road traffic and high step-ups onto sidewalks. We booked a Club Room which gave access to the 16th floor reception and dining room, which we highly recommend. Free high-speed internet throughout the hotel.

Fierce air conditioning within the room, where even the lowest speed setting was too noisy and cold for more than a few minutes of use. Water pressure on the shower head was low, so the adjustable spray head wasn’t really adjustable (water temperature was fine!)
