The staff are helpful and prompt with everything could not complain about any of the staff what so ever. They’re great always.

I’ve been staying at the Davis regularly for a period of over 12+ years now. I like it but I feel the place is dated and could really be doing with renovation to the hallways and rooms. Great hotel and comfortable facilities. No tissues in the room my partner complained about. Also there used to be a menu in the room for room service which isn’t there anymore? Asked for some wine glasses and a bucket with some ice to the room which couldn’t be provided - that’s a little disappointing. I’ve stopped adding breakfast to my stay as it’s really slipped and is extremely basic in quality.

2 bedrooms, 2 en-suites, 2 safes, guest bathroom, sofa, kitchen, jacuzzi, sauna. Good breakfast in main building but was cold by 10:30am. Beds very comfortable. Starbucks in same building. Massage on opposite side of street. K Mall, Lotus and Big C all walkable (just). Jacuzzi jets are warmed so can re-use water in the morning. Hotel staff service excellent.

Suite seriously overdue for redecorating. Yellow paint dabbed everywhere looks grubby. Old-school tv's (no wifi/youtube/amazon/netflix etc.). Swimming pool in main building is less appealing. Surrounding roads busy all day all evening.

A truly amazing property. Timeless elegance! It reminds you of a bygone era where hotel were beautifully presented and a little decadent. From the open and tasteful lobby area to the wide corridor, everything is pleasing to the eye. The rooms are generously proportioned and very tastefully furnished. Everything smell wonderful and is spotlessly clean. The staff are professional, courteous and helpful. A great property.

If I were to be critical, I thought the only bar area, at the Pool (3pm to 8pm on Sunday) was a little under whelming. It would have been perfect if the Lobby Bar had been operating. The only other option was the 24Bld arcade which was extremely noisy and more young person orientated.

I love the rooms and the size of the rooms. I love the location and that The Davis hotel has a bit of an old-school Thailand vibe. I have been there many times before and except for the check-in this last time I normally have a great experience every time I stay there and have recommended the hotel to a lot of my friends who go to Bangkok.

I want to say that I have stayed at this property MANY times and I believe my name should be in the system but when I arrived this last time for check-in the person at the front desk had some serious attitude problem. They did not smile once, they did not make me feel welcomed at all, every time I was asking a question it seemed like i was bothering her. I really thought her behavior was not kind or professional at all and it made me and my girlfriend feel uncomfortable. The front desk is where you have your first experience of the property and the lady who did the check-in was not a good ambassador for The Davis hotel.

This is a wonderful property in the heart of Bangkok but in a small quiet pocket slightly removed from the bars and restaurants (although bars etc. are within easy walking distance, if required). On each occasion that we visited this property, we were immediately impressed by the classical stone façade that takes you back to an era charm and elegance. The positive feelings continue with the beautiful foyer and the extensive wood panelling throughout. The rooms are very spacious and wonderfully appointed with comfortable bedding and furniture that compliments the overall theme of the property. The staff are extremely professional while maintaining a friendly and engaging demeanour. On both occasion, we had a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend The Davis to the decerning visitor – you cannot help but be impressed. Many thanks from Roy Jones & Julie Miller.

Everything was wonderful, Just a suggestion - I would really love the bar area in the Lobby to be operational. It would be lovely to be able to better use this delightful area.

With three of us we hired a two bedroom suite for four days which was very nice, traditional and comfortable. Spacious rooms, handy kitchenette, three electric toilets, two en-suite walk-in showers, one huge bath tub, adequate fitness facilities and decent pool, very quiet also a night club on site but drinks shockingly expensive.

Beds quite firm, many areas in need of maintenance especially the pool side hot tubs. Bit of a trek and although further down Soi 24 than I was expecting, almost on Rama IV road, there are two hypermarkets within a fifteen minute walk.

The room was spacious and it had all the things one would expect. I especially like the fact it had a bathtub, a seperate shower and a King Sized Bed. And it was clean and in the room there was absolutely nothing to fault.

The Hotel could do with an upgrade to it's TV System. The fact that the ‘room service’ menu can’t be charged back and it comes from a separately owned restaurant is I think an issue. If you stay in the ‘wing’, it’s a walk along the street to both breakfast and the pool, not a problem but they should make that clearer. I’d like to ‘rate’ the staff, but to be honest you just don’t see them, they don’t really make an effort to engage.

Quite well position for my needs. Good value for money with pleasant staff.

The standard of breakfast had dropped significantly since my last stay one year ago. The management need to do something to smarten this up a bit.

The location was perfect for us because it’s quite close for Queen SiriKit Convention Centre. There are also supermarkets nearby and McDonald’s. The hotel looks nice and the rooms are clean. Breakfast was very basic but alright. The staff were friendly and spoke English perfectly

The thing we really didn’t like is that the hotel asks for cash deposit of 1000 baht for every room. We travelled with our babysitter and booked 2 rooms for us and for her, so we needed to leave 2000 baht deposit. It was really inconvenient as we planned our weekend budget and didn’t expect to leave this sum of money at the reception. The staff should have at least mentioned that in the greeting email so people could plan their trip budget.

Staff was friendly, you could make use of a shuttle service if you were patient to wait for it

The breakfast was mediocre, very very basic, it is honestly not worth the extra cost. Now that weed is legal in Thailand, people are smoking weed everywhere and I understand that hotels have a hard time managing it, but we we had to inhale weed in front of the hotel and at the pool, not pleasant at all. The hotel is 20 min brisk walking to the BTS. Our outings never matched the shuttle.
