Almost everything at Bloom guest house was great. Affordable, nice staff, clean and spacious room. Comfortable bed.

We were notified as we were shown our room that the music next door will only go until midnight, I assumed maybe there was a party going on but didn’t realised there’s a karaoke bar that plays loud music until 1am and then plays music until 2am just lower frequency every single night. We stayed for over a week and there was only 1 night they didn’t play music and there isn’t much sound insulation. The windows need better insulation as the bar isn’t going to close down anytime soon.

Great location. Less than a 5 minute walk to a Main Street with plenty of restaurants and shops. Also only a 20 minute walk to the daily night bazaar which has a lot of market stalls and a lot of food stalls. There is a 7-eleven less than 5 minute’s walk from the accommodation. The room had plenty of space for two backpackers and their big rucksacks. The room and bathroom were clean. The room was cleaned and fresh towels and water provided each day. The receptionist was really friendly and helped print copies of our passport and other things we needed to extend our visas. We could also leave our big rucksacks for the day after check out since our transport wasn’t until later in the day.

The mattress was hard.

Incredible value! Lovely clean, comfortable room. Firm mattress, good size bed. Small balcony with garden views. Fantastic staff - a special mention for Makee who was so helpful kind and patient. Good location too - just out of the old town but close enough and loads of restaurants and coffee bars nearby. Plus a 7 Eleven just a couple of minutes away! All round a great place to stay in Chiang Mai. Highly recommended.

Hard to criticise anything at the price. Some apartments are up 4 flights of stairs but you get a nice view...

We really were impressed with how spacious and clean the room was. We booked a three bedroom place as we had a lot of luggage and a dog. It was a pet friendly place and you just had to pay a 1000 baht deposit for the pet (which you get back when you leave) and there’s also a small pet fee. The owner was very nice and helpful.

I wish the breakfast had been a bit more. There was coffee, teas, noodles and some crackers. But it would have been nice to have some bread with a toaster and jam. Also there wasn’t really a green area to walk your dog…you had to be careful out on the street.

Owner was an absolute gentleman. Very kind, kept our bags for us for a week when we did the Mae hong son loop and helped us with any questions we had. The rooms are lovely, spacious, good shower and comfortable bed. He even puts out complimentary tea/coffee/chocolate and Crackers each morning. Thank you for our stay :)

Better than just "good," this is a very good facility with clean rooms, each with a small balcony and mini-fridge. Nice shower pod - large. I like the location, set a few blocks off the busyness of the old city area but very close to the action. 7-11, restaurants close-by. Very nice gentleman runs the place, puts out a good coffee bar in the morning. Good sitting area just above street level. Secure building requires card to access. Is pet friendly. The beds are pretty good, pillows too. It's quiet.

Nothing at all negative, maybe having a bedside lamp would help.

The place is nice and clean, aircon works well, the room is big, it has a fridge, balcony, etc. The location is perfect, a few mins walking from 7 eleven a nearby restaurants. The staff is amazing, they were very helpful and kind, we are grateful that we stayed here, we will definitely come back here :)

Great value for money. Great location, clean room, free tea and snacks if needed, bonus to have a balcony, room service everyday if you want with top up of supplies, staff were very helpful and friendly, bonus to have a tv with international channels.

Bloom guesthouse is unbelievable value for money. The owner is so welcoming and was extremely helpful with all our needs and questions. It is perfectly located just outside the old town providing peace away from the business, whilst also remaining in perfect proximity. I cannot recommend this place enough. We thought the free coffee at breakfast was very cool coming from a local business northern Thailand. The view from the balcony was very nice too.
