The staff were lovely. ESP June at the front desk. Location was fantastic close to everything. Pool was perfect and there were toilets downstairs which was very good. Lots of seating to chill in the evenings. Room was very basic but perfect for what we needed. It was clean and we paid for air con as an extra as the room with the fan was too hot. Tea and coffee facilities downstairs.

As I was a solo traveller the room size was adequate for my purposes. I'm not sure a couple would find it too practical if staying longer than one evening. Very quiet and had a great night's sleep. Breakfast choice is limited and you have to specify fresh brew coffee to avoid the Nescafe mud that comes with the inclusive breakfast. I advise not including breakfast when booking. Plenty of places around for good breakfast. I love staying at this place as I have stayed there multiple times over the years. Cheap and cheerful and the owners are lovely.

It's a 2 star rated place and it does what it says on the tin. I like it and I got what I expected. Nothing to 'not like' given it's a budget hotel. I'd stay there again if I'm ever in the area.

Love the location in the old city. It’s next to my favorite vegetarian restaurants. The hotel decor is traditional Thai with beautiful art. It’s still got the old Thai vibes. Love that. I love the pool and garden area. My favorite place to stay in chiang mai. Great value for the price.

Sometimes the bathroom smells. Old pipes. Not their fault.

Wi-fi is not so good if you need to work like me. I stayed in the fan room, and the bedroom is old, old tv too, but it was clean and comfortable enough to me.

The rooms are spacious and it’s quiet, the staff are super friendly and kind. The pool is really lovely in the afternoons too

The place is quite nice - lot of plants, clean pool and clean room. The building is not new, but in a good way. Location is great in the central old city. Lots of food, shops and attractions nearby. Best Pad Thai we had in Thailand in the old wood market (street vendor with facilities in the market) a coulpe of streets down - don't miss it.

For the price, nothing really. It was a bit noisy at night but that is because of its location in the heart of the city and nothing you can really do about that. We thought is was a great place to stay.

We loved everything, especially the staff! Kekko was the greatest help to us, we even made good friends with him by the end of our trip. We stayed here twice over a 2 week period as we loved it so much! Very Comfortable, great atmosphere, in a Lovely cute neighbourhood and the pool was just unreal!

SK House offers excellent value for money, with a large pool, nice outdoor sitting areas and very friendly staff. The location in the Old City is also excellent. The hot water and tea and coffee making facilities are a welcome touch.

Some hooks or a towel rack would have been appreciated as there was literally nowhere to hang anything.

Great place right in the heart of the old city. Wonderful staff, friendly, warm, accommodating and knowledgeable about tours and activities (you can book anything via them and the owner is super kind and an expert in tours). The rooms are basic, with no frillls but in line with the price you are paying but the place itself is gorgeous with traditional Thai wood carving, painting and seatings among a botanical setting. Highly recommend!

They don’t have a little cafe/restaurant on site and with children it’s a pity. However there are restaurants and cafes all along the street and around.

Best is the price, you can’t beat it. The pool and lobby are nice, good location

I had a room where there was a loud motor/ pump going on and off constantly. I dealt with that for a few nights and then asked to be moved. The rooms with fans are the older section and very different and from room with Air Con, which also had a nice breeze coming in from that side
