Excellent location, on a quiet side street only a 5 minute stroll from a main road and tasty inexpensive outdoor restaurants. The bathrooms are truly 5 star quality--large, with new high quality fixtures, and the best non-slip absorbent flooring in the room and shower area. Beds are super firm, air con is new and also quiet. Reception and cleaning staff exceptionally good also.

Everything was fine. I notice that some guests have commented negatively on the breakfast buffet--IMO this is unwarranted, because the De Sripoom is only a 24 room hotel...an extensive breakfast buffet is an unrealistic expectation. We stayed 6 days, and found the breakfast to be more than adequate, with both Asian and Western food choices offered. And breakfast is never crowded--usually only one, two, or three couples are there at the same time.

Our third time staying here. Rooms are very spacious, with Netflix TV, jacuzzi bath and comfortable bed! Lovely breakfast included and nice facilities such as pool and small gym. Great location in the old city.

Well situated and good value for money. We had an executive suite with 2 extra beds for our two (10 and 11 yr old) children. Spacious room compared to previous hotel in Chiang Mai. The position is off the main roads so no traffic noise. The music from surrounding bars died down around 10.30 but was never too loud or thrashy. Most rooms probably couldn’t hear it anyway but the suite was at the front of the hotel. Breakfast was basic and we chose to eat out most mornings but it did what it needed to. Staff very helpful and allowed us late check out with no extra charge so we could spend more time relaxing by the pool.

The beds were very hard but I think most are in Thailand

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room comfortable with fridge, good aircon,spacious and very clean. Breakfast was excellent, the pool nice, great location.

No complaints - but two suggestions which would save the hotel management money and much better for our planet: 1. Providing bottled water every day to the rooms is an unnecessary expense and means more plastic pollution. Much better to have a jug in the room and one drinking water dispenser on each floor to refill. 2. Changing the bedding and towels every day is a waste of money and work. So much laundry daily is costly and also bad for our environment. Once or twice a week would be enough. Please let management know these suggestions. Thank you

The breakfast area is too small And although breakfast is good the menu is very limited we booked 10 rooms for 7 nights so A bit more variety would be appreciated. The dining area can easily be extended into The lovely unused garden

Everything about this hotel is amazing....im not sure about the breakfast as it was so easy to eat out on the street and cheap. The staff are all polite.. swimming pool is lovely and clean.

The rooms are really nice and big, massive bed, great bathrooms. The location is very handy, walking distance from walking street but tucked enough away that it’s quiet. The staff is lovely, and the pool area really nice!

1) Don’t do your washing with them. They will overcharge you. There are self-service machines about 50m from the hotel where you can do a full wash and dry for 60 bahts. 2) Do not leave change visible in your room if you get it cleaned. It will disappear.

We decided to stay in Chiang Mai an extra night, but couldn't get into our hotel we were staying, so booked here but wished we booked our whole stay here. Its inside the old town, walk out of reception and everything just a couple of mins walk away. The room was very big, had the all important things, AC, safe, nice bathroom, bed a little hard - but that's Thailand. We were on the ground floor, so our bedroom door opened directly onto the pool, which was really nice and we had our own table and chairs outside. The pool was nicer than in the pics, a little shady and there was a small garden area behind it. Lots of reviews complained about the breakfast but we found there to be a nice selection (not huge) of breakfast options. I would definitely stay here again or would recommended it to friends. The old town is very laid back, lots of temples, restaurants, bars and there's a night market almost every night.

The location was absolutely amazing, within walking distance of nearly Everything you could need, including the walking market, a 711, and many other street vendors and activities. The man and lady who helped us check in, who I can only assume of the owners, did a wonderful job to accommodate our  difficult circumstances as we had to book in very short notice and arrived extremely early in the morning. Despite this, they were extremely accommodating, and quick to get us to our room. The room was extremely nice, impeccably clean, all of the fixtures and fittings were of a high standard, which is all to uncommon in many hotels in Thailand, with the bathroom, being a personal highlight, as it was extremely nice to use, with very high quality finishings. The towels were replaced daily if required, and the entire place was held to a very high standard. The swimming pool was incredibly clean, and was kept at the perfect pH level. I also made use of the gym, which again was very clean and a bonus to even be included.
