The location excellent location, they cleaned the rooms very well each day, there was a problem with the air conditioner but they quickly moved us to a different room for the night and fixed it the next day

One of the main reasons that we chose the hotel was because of all of the great reviews about the pool, but it turned out that there was so much chlorine or other kind of chemical in the pool that it burned our skin. I complained several times and they assured me that they tested the levels and that they were not high, but it still burned so much that we could not enjoy the pool

Nice small pool (not a lot of sun = not bad for us). Comfortable beds. Great location. Convenient on-site restaurant opens at 7am. Baggage storage area (not locked) for if you need it when you don’t yet/still have your room. Our family room had soap/shampoo/body wash, q-tips, glasses, bottled water, mini fridge, kettle, safe. When we switched to a quadruple room w four bunk beds, that did not have the fridge, kettle or safe and the walking space was quite tight. But each good sized twin bed had privacy curtains, a light and outlet. Staff are easy to communicate with and friendly. I needed a couple pages printed and the front desk did it for me. The concierge who is there is very nice and got us set up with her son to drive us to Phoenix Adventure Park. She called them to tell them we were coming which helped our timing (we came after they get a giant tour group each day) and we just paid their walk-in fee at the door and had the entire place to ourselves. We did the high ropes course - recommended! Lanna Square nearby the lodging is nice - touristy, food court, great local talent performing! Starts at 7 I think every night. The performers go to other similar food courts at the night market areas. We learned that the temple that's right across the way, which is white and blingy was actually not a temple, but a station for all the elephants to stay while royalty would stay across the street at that Temple. So the elephant “temple” creates a quiet space, which is nice. Yet the hotel is still centrally located so that's easy to get to things like food, massage, Lanna Square, cooking schools, a jazz club, and the night market (tuk tuk/Grab taxi or a long walk away.) Other areas recs: Dreamer pizza and burger place is half a block away with good food and not the crowds as the pizza place right next door, which we didn’t try. Darlin’s Massage and Fish Spa- OMG the fish nibbling your feet had me laughing for 10 minutes straight.

Hand towels are not provided in the bunk bed room as they were in the family room. We didn’t ask for an extra pool towel but since they didn’t give us a hand towel when we asked, I’m not sure if they’d give an extra bath towel.

Absolutely cannot recommend this place enough!! we ended up extending our stay 2 times as we loved it. the staff are all incredible!! we booked 3 trips with the travel agent lady who is excellent. the restaurant had lovely breakfast in the morning with a warm welcome and all the staff, the cleaners, receptionists just everyone was great. also being able to hire a scooter for the day from the hotel was convenient and super easy. The room was always clean, facilities working perfectly in them. If ever back in Chiang Mai would happily go back,

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pool is mostly in the shade, which is great as the sun is fierce. The double/twin rooms are to a high standard for a simple hotel. The bunk bed room is tight and a more budget version. Friendly cafe next door. Once it’s closed you can buy drinks from the hotel reception. Hotel will lock away your valuables. Very honest, my son left his shoes in the reception area and they were still there the next day. We extended our stay.

As everywhere in Thailand: Beds in bunk ned room are hard. Take earplugs.

Great location right in the center of the old city. Room size is big, rhe bed is comfy. My room was connected with another one via the door but luckily the neighbors were quiet :) Small balcony was very nice (for one person the size is absolutely okay) The breakfast is not included but they have a café on site where some nice food is served with a friendly smile. Also there are lots of food options around. Very nice stay, thank you!

The pool was too cold

Great place to stay in Chiang Mai. Our room was the quadruple room and it was 2 bunks so our kids loved it. The room was very comfortable and it had warm showers. The staff were so friendly. Thank you!

The only thing they could improve would be to get rid of the single use drink bottles in the room. Such bad plastic waste. If they had a big jug at the front desk we could refill our bottles.

The hotel is value for money in my opinion. The rooms are a fair size, and staff were kind, nice little swimming pool nothing fancy but it done just fine! The little cafe part was real handy! Nice place and in the old town near a lot of the great temples! And near Sunday market! Chiang mai is a special place! Also if you have time go to chiang rai as well! The white temple)🙏🙏🌞

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Went above and beyond with anything we needed. Helped us learn to work the shower temperature, booked our airport taxi for good prices. Amazing location, we walked everywhere honestly.

Property was great value for money. The beds mattress was slightly hard but once we slept on it a night we got used to it. You get what you pay for and for that being our only concern it was great overall.

Manee Cool is situated in the heart of the old city walls in Chiang Mai. Around it there are numerous cafes, bars and restaurants. The pool is well maintained and the staff were really helpful, always leaving fresh water outside our room for when we returned.

Preferably we would like 4 pillows for the bed instead of 2 but this is a minor point!

Manee was a great place for a long stay. Next time I'll upgrade to nicer room by the pool. The staff were always nice and helpful. As a solo female traveler, I loved having a security guard all night! I felt super secure here. Location is perfect with so many things within short walking distance. Finally, having a restaurant on site was so great for smoothies and breakfast.

I liked everything. The beds are the more firm style you see in Asia. For me this was good, but others might not like it.
