Honestly, everything! The staff was absolutely amazing friendly, helpful, and always going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. They even helped me plan my trip to the airport, told me exactly what time I should leave for my flight, and made sure everything went smoothly. The room was cozy, clean, and very comfortable perfect after a long day of exploring. The food was delicious, with great options for breakfast. Plus, the location is excellent close to everything, but still peaceful enough for a relaxing stay. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this boutique lodge in Chiang Mai. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Everything. The staff were so friendly. Nam Ta, James and Bao Bao (apologies if spelt wrong!) were so lovely and couldn't do more to help us. They gave great recommendations for restaurants and trips. The room was perfect, we had 2 connecting rooms which was perfect with our 2 children (7 and 9). The swimming pool was great to return to after going out for the day on trips. The location is in the centre and close to markets, shops and the temples in the town. It was very hot so we used the "Grab" taxi app when going out, and then tuk tuks to get back. The breakfast is great and worth the additional cost. We would 100% stay again!

No doubt, highly recommended!! If you are looking for a chic place at an affordable price, a comfy bed and peaceful sleep then, look no further. I spent hours reading reviews so while there are many nice places around Chiang Mai, people were complaining about hard beds and noisy nights but not at this place. And while Mama left her little ones behind for this trip, she found lovely locals at this place to make her stay even more worthwhile… thank you James, Nu Nu and team for taking good care of me <3 P.S. oh did I mention salt water pool?! Surreal. Walking distance to cheap, yummy restaurants, spas, markets and shops or else Grab bike is just a text away :)

The staff were exceptional - very attentive and helpful. James was especially helpful if we had any questions. The room was very good and the bed was the expected very firm mattress - we like this type. There was a full-sized fridge, kettle, coffee, efficient air conditioner, body wash and shampoo provided. Extra pillows were available upon request. We requested rooms close together as our Granddaughter had her own room booked. The hotel were very kind and upgraded her (as they had availability) so she could be next door to us. The pool area was kept clean and tidy, we enjoyed a few bottles of Chang outside in the late afternoon after a hot day sightseeing. We sat inside the dining area early one evening but were bitten quite a few times by large black striped mosquitoes. We used local DEET deterrent after that. The location of the hotel was very convenient for Tha Pae Gate, Chinatown and river. Just outside of the old city wall. If we go back to Chiang Mai, we would be happy to stay here again.

Nothing to seriously dislike but We did have some drain smell from the shower drain. This was sorted out very quickly. There wasn't a great view from the balcony of our room. The place across the street was gutted for refurbishment so it was understandably untidy and a building site. However, there was no noise disturbance and the workmen were very friendly.

Everything was what we expected and more. The staff were so helpful and super friendly, nothing was too much trouble. It is just a short walk to the old town or you can use taxi or tuk tuk if required. The rooms were clean, we slept really well. We were upgraded on our second stay, did an 11 day trip in between stays, to a suite. Left some luggage to collect on our return from our trip, this was free of charge and everything was how we left it. Highly recommend

Nothing in particular however if I was to be choosy the rooms did not have a scenic view. This did not spoil our trip as we were hardly in the room.

We loved everything about this property! We arrived late at night and was greeted by the lovely James at reception who talked us through everything about the hotel, he was so welcoming and made us feel at home straight away! His English was also great! We were also upgraded and had a beautiful room with a balcony which was lovely after our long day of travel. The hotel itself has a family charm about it and feels very relaxed. The pool area is lovely and was great to relax around after a long day walking around in the heat. All the staff are very attentive and serve you drinks around the pool which was a lovely touch.

There’s nothing we didn’t like about this property, we will be staying here next time we come to chiang mai!

The staff are extremely lovely - friendly and helpful. We stayed in 2 adjoining rooms, the rooms each had a small balcony over looking the pool. The rooms were spotlessly clean and were a good size. The hotel has a nice peaceful atmosphere but is also in a location close to the market streets - either a 20 ish minute walk or you can get there in 3 minutes by getting a moped taxi or hire your own moped, which is very easy to do and the reception staff give you directions where you can hire one. The hotel felt safe and secure

The pool was very chilly but we were there early summer so perhaps it warms up

We had a wonderful stay at Chiangmai Boutique Lodge. Staff were extremely friendly, as soon as we arrived they gave us a map and discussed the policies of the lodge and the area of Chiangmai with us. They were extremely accommodating, taking luggage up to our room once it was ready and cleaning our room at times preferable to us. The location was very handy and easy to navigate, especially as Chiangmai is a very walkable city. We also used the laundry service which was reasonably priced and very efficient. The aircon and shower both worked very well and the bed was comfortable - staff will change pillows if needed We had a fantastic stay here - thank you!

The lodge is our go-to place in Chiang Mai . It is ideally located , being a 10 minute walk from the Thai Phae Gate and near to lots of great restaurants, a laundry, and 7 Eleven. The staff are brilliant, always friendly and helpful. We have stayed several times, and the standards have been maintained over the years. The pool is clean, and there are plenty of sunbeds. We look forward to our next stay.

Our room was perfect for our stay with a little baby,in that the bed was in a separate room from the living space so we could put him to bed and stay up. Clean and spacious. The hotel staff are super friendly and professional.

The hotel flooded. This had never happened before and it was the worst flooding chiang mai had ever seen. We were reassured on multiple occasions by the hotel before coming that it had never flooded and we should still come. Despite this, the staff were so helpful and got us and our baby and luggage out promptly and safely. I would go back to this hotel in future if I was in chiang mai in a different season!
