The location was perfect, walking distance to the old city. We loved the atmosphere of the hotel, the bed was comfortable and the staff super friendly. If you are looking for a place with a budget believe me it is the hotel, good price, good location and very comfortable.

It has a very particular smell when you walk in the common area, it feels like you are walking in a very old house (well, the hotel seems to be a very old building) it really doesn’t bother me but I leave it here for your information.

Wow - what a great find in Chiang Mai - this hotel is AMAZING! I have stayed all over Chiang Mai and this is hands down the best so far! Large smart television with Netflix, corner hot tub in bathroom, comfortable bed and linens, super friendly staff, great location next to old town wall, spacious rooms with large balcony! Everything about this place is classy and deserves 5 star rating!

Nothing - hotel was perfect in every way!

I really enjoyed the big bed and the bathroom with the yacuzee! :-D First I was a bit sad that the sun at the pool is gone from 4 pm, so I could not relax in the sun after finally having checked in... the water was cold, of course, but I could not warm up in the sun - I know these are luxury problems, hahaha - to be solved by the nice yacuzee in the bathroom! :-D

The reception does not seem to be active from morning till 2 pm - I knew one cannot check in before 2pm - but it was said that one could store luggage in case of early arrival. But: There was simply NOBODY - I also met other Germans who just left their bag packs in the lobby... I actually met a cleaning lady who allowed me to put my luggage into the room for cleaning devices, so I felt safe for leaving the bag with my laptop there...

This is better than good, certainly a very good rating vs. excellent but the rating system here offers no in between. It's attractive and unbusy here -- mature adults frequent this property and use it accordingly. It has no bar, no breakfast but all those things are within a minute or two walk. What it offers are large and comfortable rooms, balconies, a pool and an unobtrusive staff. Housekeeping is very good. The beds and pillows are solid. Has desk, chairs, balcony bench; my room had a jacuzzi that worked great and a half-size refrigerator. Big TV with Netflix but no locals. Other services like prime TV, apple too. I liked the front area patio, it's little used and offers a good space to journal, do business or have a drink. Lots of tables and chairs in shaded area fronting one of the Old City walls. It's a semi-classy and upscale stay just across the moat from a lot of good spots.

There was a bit of noise from the live rock club Nabe right next door. I went there a couple times and found it showcased good local talent. Younger crowd here, 20s... But the noise was more ambient, especially if I was watching TV. Didn't disturb MY sleep but others may be more affected. Also, the pool is mostly shaded, especially after 130ish. The chairs and chaises need some cushions for comfort too. But it's not a "busy" pool. Uncrowded.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here! Room was huge - clean & comfy on arrival & we’re provided drinking water & chance for room to be cleaned daily. TV had Netflix which was a bonus & room had huge fridge! 7/11 and bakery across the road which was useful. Walking distance to restaurants/bars in the Old Town area. Plenty of information on excursions in the area. Unsure if hotel rents/can support with scooter rental. Pool was really clean - in June we found the sun to hide behind building around 2.30pm ish. Overall great stay!

Everything was very clean but would say shower towels could do with being replaced

The hotel is located at the northeast corner of the old town. It's a great location for exploring the city and there's a 7-11 and coin laundry close by. The hotel is very clean and beautifully furnished. The staff is very helpful and friendly. My room was cleaned every day with perfect timing, without asking for it. The jacuzzi is a nice bonus, and the pool is suitable for swimming (short) laps. Overall, great value and I'll definitely stay here again when I return to Chiang Mai.

Since covid the hotel restaurant is closed, but it didn't bother me. The staff even invited me to eat lunch with them for free. It was delicious.

Very clean, spacious room and bathroom with traditional Thai furniture. We had a room with 3 sets of bunk beds so everyone has their own bed which we liked. Each bed had an outlet right next to it. The pool was very nice. Liked the lounge chairs. Location was convenient to walk to places within old town (location is just on the outskirts of the wall), everything was a 10-15 min walk. Across the street is a delicious bakery and a 7-11. They come each day to make up the room which was nice.

There is a bar next door and it was super loud at night! We were able to clearly hear the music even with ear plugs in. Luckily they seemed to shut it down early (it was over by midnight). That was the only negative.

Great Hotel Perfectly located on the corner of the town. The Hotel was beautiful with lots of Carved furniture and gorgeous lights. Staff were all extremely friendly and gave advice on Local laundry services and places to go. The Pool area was generally quite and very peaceful. And we were located right on the corner of the town square. There was so much to see and do. We hired bikes and felt happy leaving them at the hotel but also ventured off on them most days. There were great food places nearby and a very cheap clothing road (which we missed until we were leaving) We would defiantly stay here again

The hotel itself, including the rooms, is quite beautiful with artistic wood everywhere. Everything was very comfortable. The jacuzzi was excellent. The pool was good. We had a view of a natural green area outside our window. I had read reviews that said a nearby bar was somewhat noisy, but the bar was closed for renovation when we were there, so it was quiet. The staff said the repairs are intended to make the bar more noiseproof.

The location is a bit away from an entrance between the wall into the Old City (5-8 minutes walk), but it is workable as its location is just outside the Old City.

This hotel is great! The rooms are beautifully styled, and the location is good as well, about a 15 minute walk to the center of the city. The staff was super friendly and kind, and accommodating for us when we did late checkout. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Chiang Mai and wanting to be in walking distance from everything. The pool was also clean and relaxing. Thank you for a phenomenal stay—if I come to Chiang Mai again, I will be coming back!
