The staff were excellent mentioning specifically Noom and Tai at the front desk. The cleaning was very good . There are roosters to wake you up if you like that .. we were ok others might not ?? The property is expanding mostly for short term stays . It’s very handy to Nimnan areas . Staff told us places to visit, night and street markets Jing Jai, Wararot, Wulai, sight seeing Doi Saket San Kapaeng, Mai Pong Doi Sutep Huay, Hang Dong, Kaew falls and a lot more enough fur the 3 weeks stay !! Relaxing time in an enclosed mini forest inside a city .. One market for music and atmosphere . Maya superstore close by good for shopping and eating !!! Much more ! Foot massages after walking!!

The city of Chiang Mai has not developed very well over the years since last there, it could be cleaner . Lamp posts in the middle of footpaths above ground wiring looks strangely complex and concerning and few road crossing points . The junction crosswalks that exist rotate one road at a time which takes ages to cross junctions and hence a bit dangerous for pedestrians .. very busy traffic 24 hrs but lots to do in the area even at nights

It's a little heart of Nimman, really. I came here so could run away from distractions once I'd be studying and working most of the time and it was the best thing I could have ever possibly done. The rooms are just perfectly clean, beatiful views plus you can hear the nature during the night... And you're 5 minutes from Nimmam center.

Staff members could not speak english (except from one very sympathic lady), it can be a little awkward if you need to ask for specific things...

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There's a free breakfast where they serve fresh croissants and tea/coffee. The room is mostly windows so there's lots of natural light during the day and the room itself is quite large for the price.

If you're a light sleeper then this place isn't ideal. The chickens on premises make noise starting from as early as 4:30am and the music from nearby clubs/bars is somewhat audible from inside the room. Because the room is made of wood there are some gaps for mosquitoes to enter which also made sleeping difficult.

I love the early 60s residential design of this place and I hope it never changes. I would live there. Staff were friendly, bed comfy, everything super clean and cleaned daily. I had none of the problems with bugs others reported - all windows have screens on them (but if a previous guest was careless with those, there might be issues) The location was perfect - Nimman is full of specialty coffeeshops and good eateries, the Grab ride into town takes 5 mins and costs under $5 - you could also walk in about 30 mins, but the ringroad circling old town is hard to navigate as a pedestrian

Nice place in a quiet garden with singing frogs at night and a rooster. Clean and cozy. Very nice people. The location is top.

The cushions were rather hard and hence sleeping was not very comfortable for us. The rooster at 5am is ok but might be a problem for others.

Great location, right in the middle of places such as restaurants, shopping malls, cafes, and bars but the hotel itself has located hidden away from the busy vibes. They have a garden with a lot of trees and plants and also chickens around. No worries about the chicken, we haven't noticed them in the nighttime so it's not bothered me at all. Their bedding is so nice and good quality, we stayed for 2 nights, on 1st night we have a problem with too thick pillows the staff gave me thinner pillows right away so our 2nd night was even better. I definitely will be back!

It's not what I don't like actually, it is just my opinion. It would be much more comfortable if they provided a hairdryer and some cotton buds :)

Amazing place! We love how cozy the place is. The room’s pretty spacious and the surrounding is very nice, with a lot of trees and nature. The breakfast was good, great coffee, and the staff’s friendly and helpful. The location’s also very convenient.

Even though Cochet is in the middle of the City, it's a very quiet place, and it even feels a bit remote. The property is beautiful as its very green with palm trees and bushes and very well maintained. Even a few chickens live there. We would definitely come back here to stay in Chiang Mai, especially because it is in the middle of Nimman with cool Cafés, Restaurants and galleries all around.

Beautiful clean room and comfortable bed. My friend and I stayed there for 5 nights and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We also used their laundry service twice which was a little bit more expensive but so worth it/convenient. It’s also located right in the heart of Nimman and east to get around on foot or by taxi. They also clean the room and give fresh towels everyday.
