Centrally located in the Nimman area so there are heaps of shopping, food, cafes, bars in the area to explore. Dorms are clean - quite a pleasant surprise but daily housekeeping included changing your towels and making up the beds. Each locker had a clothes hanging space above which was quite convenient for drying towels. Bathrooms were spacious but probably could have been kept a little cleaner. If you're used to hostel standards, then it's totally tolerable. They have an adorable cat who greets you in the lobby.

Nice, clean hostel with very good facilities in very convenient location. I’ll definitely stay here again if I go to Chiangmai alone. Staffs also nice and helpful. Quite clean place as they change bed sheet and towel for you everyday and not allow to wear your own shoes inside only need to wear their providing flipflop

Literally nothing

The place looks exactly how the photos appear. It is such a clean hostel. They also provide some amenities such as hair dryer, cotton pads and cotton tips. They provided slippers for you to use in the hostel as well! The bed has a light switch too.

There isn’t much of a common area to hang out or meet other travellers. Average service but not bad.

Stayed here for one night before catching a flight. Bed was very comfy, nice quiet location, free tea / coffee and drinking water. Would recommends for a short stay - the area is more young people / cafe vibes if that’s what you’re looking for.

It would be nice if the toilet and shower were separate - fortunately it wasn’t busy when I was there so I had no issues with having to wait.

Amazing hostel with great staff. One of the cleanest hostels I've stayed at, but most importantly, the staff is super friendly and will help you any way they can. Super secure hostel with a locked front door (you need the pass to open the door) as well as camera's. If you check in early, you can leave your bag in a locker in the entrance. The rooms also have spacious lockers. The beds are very comfy, you have your own bed light and plug as well as a small tablet to put stuff on. Spacious shared bedrooms. The bathrooms are clean and functional, shampoo, body wash, cottons to clean your face, ear swabs and hair elastics (!) are provided. There is also a hairdryer should you need that. Location is great in the Nimman area with loads of restaurants and little shops around. I would stay here again!

This is a very clean hostel with nice dorms and beautiful and big showers to share. It is nice for people who need to be in a quiet environment, outside of the old city of Chiang Mai, and who are not looking for socializing.

I would not recommend this hostel for solo travelers who are willing to meet people in Chiang Mai. There is no common area and not really a good atmosphere. Also, on booking it says there's free breakfast but actually there is only free coffee and nothing else.

Amazing property and fabulous location. Had everything I needed for my stay. comfy linens and towel thats changed daily, clean bathroom with privacy and body lotion, shampoo, etc. the location is a walk away from maya shopping center, great restaurants and markets. Safe for single women travellings.

I love this hostel. Whenever I need to stay in Chiang Mai for a short period, I just book Ray Hostel. It's clean and equipped with all the amenities required for a comfortable stay in Chiang Mai. It's located in Nimman area which is perfect for young travelers. The staff is helpful and polite.

It's a couple blocks from the mall, very close to 24hr self-service laundromat, Yellow Co-working space, and some highly recommended restaurants.

There is no common area for hanging out, especially during the day (front porch is used for drying bed linens during daytime hours, at night, they put out a few bar stools). Also, the ratio of toilet/shower facilities to number of people had me worried...there are just 2 single-occupancy bathrooms on each floor, to service multiple dorm rooms of 8+ people each. There is no breakfast unless you buy it from the Cafe they run next door. Lobby smells like mothballs from the packets they put in the lockers

The room was comfort and tidy. The room was quite and in the morning you can also easily have a good coffee from the cafe. The staff were helpful and polite.

The bath room is abit less then I expect, it would be great if the toilet and shower room are separat.
