Beautiful new modern hotel in the heart of Nijman with staff that always greet you with a smile. Many independent cafe’s, restaurants and local craft shops in the direct area. Spacious rooms that are beautifully decorated, smell nice and are very quiet The bed was super comfortable and the bed linnen are airy and soft. The AC worked very well and was silent Housekeeping did an excellent job, the room was always spotless and amenities/coffee/tea refilled. The pool has cool water so was very refreshing (many in Thailand have warm water)

Nothing to dislike

we had the Manor Suite and it was luxurious and spacious with great facilities etc. The terrace made a huge difference and we enjoyed sitting on it. Staff were fab, courteous, friendly and very helpful big shout out to Nuun and Oat for their support. Restaurant and staff was lovely.

I feel they need extra staff as at times housekeeping didn’t get around to the room until late unless you asked them to do it in morning when you were going out. That would be my only suggestion. The pool area was tastefully done but was more style than substance. The loungers (only 4) were difficult to access by pool and not very comfortable AND stairs into pool had no tread but rather circular treads so skippy and very uncomfortable. None of these things impacted our stay negatively in that we worked around them but to improve- I would say extra cleaning staff and better access to pool and loungers.

Great location if you want to be in the heart of Nimman and explore the area with lots of shops and restaurants. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, Italics, and we were really happy with the food. The pasta and pizza were very good. The room was comfortable, great shower, comfy beds and sheets. The AC was great and coffee in the room was good. Breakfast in the morning was really nice as well. The staff was really wonderful too. Overall we had a very nice stay and would return.

The light switches were a little confusing and hard to know what turned which things on and off. The room had dark walls which made the room a bit under-lighted, but if the shades were open it was fine. There were only 2 bottles of water in the room - we asked for more and they were brought promptly but probably could put another couple bottles in the fridge to begin with.

The best thing about Akyra is the staff , the guy that directs you to park your car and the front desk staff to the folks that work at the restaurant and room service - all are top notch professionals , helpful and gracious . The room , we stayed in the manor suite … amazing and super comfortable. The food at breakfast was some of the best we have experienced in years , very impressive made to order breakfasts . We ordered room service 3 times as well , italics has amazing food . The crab soup was especially memorable as was the pork chop … we order a bunch of stuff each time but these were standouts .

Located in the heart of trendy Nimman with many independent cafe’s and boutique stores. The rooms are spacious, modern and nicely decorated. The shower was a true dream. Staff were very friendly, always greet you with a smile, holding the door and even taking rubbish of your hands. The pool’s cool water was very refreshing (unlike many other hotels in Thailand that have warm water)

The gym was a bit small

Very stylish building! Great location with many boutiques and restaurants near by. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Their pool offers a great sunset experience and good drinks at their bar upstairs. Their breakfast offers a good variety of options and opens early which allows you to eat before the tours. Overall I had a great experience and definitely recommend 💯

Good breakfast, very helpful personnel, stunning room, nice rooftop bar, good food in the restaurant. We received sparkling wine and fruits to the room on the house. The hotel helped us order a private taxi to the airport at 4am in the morning. The area nearest to the hotel is perfect for evening exploring.

Water pressure under the showed could be stronger. We used a laundry service (3kg of clothes) and 2 shirts came back shrinked, all other pieces were fine. The hotel doesn’t take responsibility for the laundry service provide by extrrnal company but in our case they agreed not to charge us for it.

Good location with loads of restaurants and shops close by. We ate at their Italian restaurant for dinner - pretty good.

The entrance to the hotel rooms go right through a fancy restaurant so it is a bit awkward when returning from a day out shopping and sweating to lug your bags past people eating at their white tableclothed dinners.

Upgraded us on arrival, the suite was clean and comfortable, staff very friendly even though we didnt look like their usual customers (2 backpackers). Provided drinking water upon arrival in the room and provided more when requested. Pillow service provided is free and comfortable. Made our stay even better!

There are a lot of usefully things inside the room but not instructions to use them( including coffee machine ) The reception personnel is rigid and not very friendly . The breakfast selection was the poorest we had in all Thailand . Not worth the money we pay for
