This was the latest of several stays in recent years. The hotel is great for our needs. Close to everything but separated from street noise by an entry road and very large car park. Deluxe rooms have had a complete renovation and are looking great again and are huge. Definitely worth paying a little extra. Most of the staff have been there forever and are quietly efficient . They remember regular guests. Beds are great and rooms have balconies. Ours had a lovely sea view. Hotel is surrounded with food and shopping options. Overall, the hotel attracts an older European demographic which makes it very safe. We’re going back in 3 months or so.

Breakfast is very ordinary with cold fried eggs and some of the worst coffee I’ve ever encountered. We stayed 8 nights with breakfast included but only ate breakfast once. Breakfast staff are great but the food is not.

Breakfast was basic but adequate. Coffee was not to my taste. Hotel has been totally refreshed since my last stay pre-Covid and is back to looking quite grand. Location is excellent and the large car park at the front insulates it from street noise. Guests tend to be older and that makes for a quiet atmosphere. Big swimming pool and massive lobby area. We loved the wonderful staff and will be back in 3 months.

No in-room safety box. However, free safety deposit boxes are available at Reception. Everything else was fine.

Well located near beach, Walking Street & LK Metro. Great swimming pool. Clean rooms & friendly staff.

Nothing all good except for the Euro pool chair groups commandeering chairs at the pool & going off for a 3 hour lunch leaving the empty with no places for other guests. Pretty sad really poor manners & pool etiquette.

Location was very good. Near the beach. Many restaurants nearby. Only a 10 minute walk to the Central mall. Room was spacious and very clean and quiet. Excellent wifi.

Nothing to dislike. Would definitely stay here again.

I always stay in this hotel when I’m in Pattaya , very central location, the staff are excellent and they are always on hand to help

A proper dinner menu would be nice

As an older hotel you get the value! Big room, big car park, great location, sea view, great pool and nice and quiet as many go for the newer hotels. I always use this hotel and always have a great experience. The staff are always fantastic.

Pool, room size, breakfast

Original booking (via boking.com) was reduced from 2 nights to 1 night. The additional booking of a 2nd night was done on the same credit card manually in the lobby where we encountered problems with the pin. It took a while to sort out all questions and problems with the credit card while mosquitos were feasting on me. Man, it could be so easy if hotel staff wouldn't want to save some pennies on commission fees. Another problem is the deposit policy: charge on credit card and refund in cash, forcing guests to use a money changer at the airport.

Was a good stay, this time I had a working toilet lol. Only issues were the room service, it's none existent yet there is a room service menu in room, I tried it throughout the late afternoon and early evening, never did anyone pick up the phone, ever. I have been 3 times this year and all 3 times were the same, no answer to any calls to room service no matter what time I called, morning, afternoon or evening even though they are supposed to be open till 10pm or 10:30pm, this is advertised in the room booklet/menu in the room desk drawers. Staff nice as usual, I've been coming here for 25 years now, the only probs you usually get in the rooms is the poor flush on toilet so generally everytime you use it for number 2 it blocks BUT the toilet I had in this one room was like a rocket propelled sonic boom sucker outer ha ha. Brilliant. In 25 years I have never had such a powerful toilet in any of the 100s of rooms I've had at Royal palace ha ha.

No room service even though you have a room service menu in the room. Some of the lights / light switches didn't work, looking up at the ceiling you can see some lights bent out of shape lol

I've stayed here loads of times over the last 25 years .... But since the pandemic it's not the same .... Lots of different staff , no mini bar , room service used to be 24 hour but now it's 7am to 7pm ... I wish they would go back to 24 hour .... I have to add the pool is EXCELLENT .
