The hotel was really nice, clean and tidy. The food was excellent and very well presented. The room was very good, with a large bed and comfortable. Bathroom was ok, shower screen no use at all water all over the floor after each shower. Staff were very polite, friendly and very helpful, with porter always on hand to give you a lift up the hill to your room on his golf buggy. The pools are all excellent and nice to cool off in with good beds all around the pools and the bars are excellent. Really enjoyed our stay here

Had one issue with money being left in a purse in our room while we went for breakfast going missing, not much but it still happened. The hotel sits on a steep hill so be prepared to walk up and down a very steep hill to the main road.

We liked everything about the property. The breakfast was excellent, pool area was excellent , staff were amazing and the general aesthetics of the of the complex were beautiful.

Some of the beds were very hard out of a party of 5, 3 beds were hard. Rooms that we were in were dark and didn’t have enough lighting.

Too many russians

This was our third visit and stay at that place - not worth the risk going elsewhere. It's a perfect location, superior rooms, great breakfast, lovely staff... affordable luxury...just perfect

Moisquitos

Breakfast was plentiful and lots of variety. Pool access room was very convenient, pools & gardens well maintained and the two daily "happy hours" well received. Main restaurant meals were delicious and well priced. Enjoyed the live music singer/guitarist. All the staff were very friendly and always happy to assist.

Steep driveway up from street to reception but buggy service from reception up to room was always available and very much appreciated. No bathrobes or clothes drying rack in the room as was advertised. The one treadmill in the gym was "out of order" for the 9 days I was there - with only 3 machines in the gym, I would have expected this to be fixed more promptly

Staff were so friendly and happy even though the majority of tourists totally ignored them. The cleanliness was super and all towels and linen changed daily without having to ask and smelling wonderful. All areas were constantly monitored and cleaned and even after a heavy downpour, it was immaculate within an hour. Breakfast was always temperature monitored and all dishes at the buffet were hygienically covered. Being given 2 keys with a 3rd already in the slot to provide constant electric was brilliant! Bed was so comfortable too.

The coffee machines were preset with a variety of coffees, but no standard Nescafé, and no hot water to be able to add to strong coffees. The shower was just a rain shower and there was no hand held option which would be so convenient and helpful.

The staff are so welcoming and friendly . Always a smile and greeting. They will help you with anything you ask and if they can't resolve it they will find somebody who can. Was our second stay at the Diamond cottages and will return again as the facilities fit our needs. Well positioned in the area we like to visit places. Pools are clean and well maintained as are all the surrounding facilities there. The rooms are cleaned daily, comfy beds, and all you need for a relaxing break.

There were a few sharp tiles in the pools on which both myself and my daughter cut both our figure and toes but once reported they were working on it the next day to fix the problem.

The location of the resort was fantastic. On arrival we were allocated a room but it had an extremely unpleasant odour that we couldn’t tolerate. We contacted front desk and they moved us to another room which was better- however the terrible smell came through the air conditioning every so often in the early hours of the morning. It was tolerable but I think something needs to be done about the problem. The staff on reception and transport etc were fantastic but the staff at breakfast were on the whole very unhappy- I think I only saw one staff member smile in 9 days. Maybe it has something to do with the guests attitude towards them? But my husband and I are very friendly to everyone and expect the same courtesy-on the whole it was a lovely stay and I would definitely stay again BUT- I think some staff training in dining room and bad smell REALLY needs to be dealt with.

The resort is nice in a nice location close to the night market and beach , and the resort is very nice the trees pools are very lovely and nice , also the staff were the best GOAT (GREATEST OF ALL TIME) i don't know there names but the women at night shift helped me alot and the driver best people always having a smile

I didnt like how our room was old, and the breakfast was meh , and there is lizards and cockroachs outside the room , but they dont go inside

Relaxing resort-style hotel located a short walk from Kata / Karon beaches. Great swimming pool options with varying depths (starting from toddler paddling pool), a slide and some random floatie toys. Really nice staff that seems genuine (and not just waiting to be tipped). Spacious rooms with pleasant décor; clean and functional enough. Very good breakfast with a selection of both oriental and western dishes. Strong wifi that reaches almost anywhere in hotel grounds. Night market and restaurants nearby.

Some room facilities were not 100% there (low pressure shower with varying water temperature or clogged drains). Poor noise insulation with single glazed and not properly closing windows (you can hear any noise from the courtyard like birds or other guests). Those features seem to be standard in Thai hotels though.
