The hotel was really nice, clean and tidy. The food was excellent and very well presented. The room was very good, with a large bed and comfortable. Bathroom was ok, shower screen no use at all water all over the floor after each shower. Staff were very polite, friendly and very helpful, with porter always on hand to give you a lift up the hill to your room on his golf buggy. The pools are all excellent and nice to cool off in with good beds all around the pools and the bars are excellent. Really enjoyed our stay here

Had one issue with money being left in a purse in our room while we went for breakfast going missing, not much but it still happened. The hotel sits on a steep hill so be prepared to walk up and down a very steep hill to the main road.

Too many russians

The staff are so welcoming and friendly . Always a smile and greeting. They will help you with anything you ask and if they can't resolve it they will find somebody who can. Was our second stay at the Diamond cottages and will return again as the facilities fit our needs. Well positioned in the area we like to visit places. Pools are clean and well maintained as are all the surrounding facilities there. The rooms are cleaned daily, comfy beds, and all you need for a relaxing break.

There were a few sharp tiles in the pools on which both myself and my daughter cut both our figure and toes but once reported they were working on it the next day to fix the problem.

The location of the resort was fantastic. On arrival we were allocated a room but it had an extremely unpleasant odour that we couldn’t tolerate. We contacted front desk and they moved us to another room which was better- however the terrible smell came through the air conditioning every so often in the early hours of the morning. It was tolerable but I think something needs to be done about the problem. The staff on reception and transport etc were fantastic but the staff at breakfast were on the whole very unhappy- I think I only saw one staff member smile in 9 days. Maybe it has something to do with the guests attitude towards them? But my husband and I are very friendly to everyone and expect the same courtesy-on the whole it was a lovely stay and I would definitely stay again BUT- I think some staff training in dining room and bad smell REALLY needs to be dealt with.

Relaxing resort-style hotel located a short walk from Kata / Karon beaches. Great swimming pool options with varying depths (starting from toddler paddling pool), a slide and some random floatie toys. Really nice staff that seems genuine (and not just waiting to be tipped). Spacious rooms with pleasant décor; clean and functional enough. Very good breakfast with a selection of both oriental and western dishes. Strong wifi that reaches almost anywhere in hotel grounds. Night market and restaurants nearby.

Some room facilities were not 100% there (low pressure shower with varying water temperature or clogged drains). Poor noise insulation with single glazed and not properly closing windows (you can hear any noise from the courtyard like birds or other guests). Those features seem to be standard in Thai hotels though.

The hotel is in a central and safe area of ​​Kata Beach. It was beautiful and the room was very big and comfortable, with nice decor. Breakfast was in a beautiful area of ​​the hotel. The pool was very good and even had a slide. We didn't stay long at the hotel, but during the time we stayed everything went well and was good. I wish I could have stayed longer at the hotel. Excellent quality-price ratio.

Our room had a "pool view" but it was only possible to see a small part of the pool. Breakfast could be more varied, especially fruit. There were no elevators, which sometimes made movement difficult, especially on the days when we arrived and left, loaded.

Nice hotel in a superb location. If you dont mind a little hill from the beach then its a great. Close to lots of restaurants, 5 minutes to the beach (or a little more to the second one). I had a room in a building between the two main areas so it was very quiet. The hotel complex is pretty chill overall. The room was huge, decent bed, everything was clean. They provide beach/pool towels. I really liked the breakfast. A lot of choices, both local and international. The staff was friendly.

Even though I didnt find any any major problems, the price is expensive for what it is. The hotel complex and my room seemed like they remember a lot and some modernization could be useful. The AC was efficient, but pretty noisy. The wifi could be better.

Nice traditional looking hotel with lovely secluded villa rooms, which were well service every day. Nice breakfast, with local Thai dishes, which were yummy, egg station, omelettes made to order, fresh fruit, yoghurts & pastries. The breakfast restaurant is located up a very steep hill & depending on where your room is, you may want to take advantage of the free from reception, buggy ride up the very steep hill The hotel is well located with an array of bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and spas/massage establishments right outside the hotel. There are street markets selling just about everything a short walk away, down the hill. Due to the hotel being on an elevated location off the main road, you don't get disturbed by the busyness of the main street but do benefit from everything so close by. Karon & Kata beaches are close by. The latter you may want to take the bus to as it's slightly further away. Overall, it was a nice hotel, if a little tired & in need of updating.

This hotel needs updating. It's tired looking in parts. The two pools we used both had broken tiles, with pieces visible on the pool floor, many of which my husband retrieved, having stood on many. We stopped using the pools due to this. Although our villa room was lovely, it was not with garden view as stated With some updating, this could be a really lovely hotel

Montree, the manager hosted a great breakfast every morning of our stay. It was plentiful, with a wide range of choice which would suit any eating style including continental, cooked, fresh fruit, soups and salads along with pastries, muffins, juices, tea and coffee. There were several swimming pools to choose from, and a small clean well equipped gym. Housekeeping was exceptional and staff friendly. There was a golf cart to transport people up the hill which was nice in the hotter part of the day. We were able to get a topper for our bed so it was softer, and a smaller pillow without fuss. Location is excellent - close to both the beach and town. We walked everywhere unless we went on a tour.

Exceeded our expectations nothing we can think of to improve.
