1. Perfect location if you like Karon beach like us, the sea is across the road. 2. Good breakfast - variety of fruits, tasty strong coffee, eggs or omelette made in front of you. The only thing I was missing is a fried rice that usually exists in all Thai hotels. 3. Beautiful green area around the pools and the buildings. 4. Friendly staff. 5. A place to wash your feet. Someone could say the hotel itself is kind of old, probably yes but in defence I would say the room is classic Thai style, the territory is well managed with a lot of trees and plants you never get in new built hotels, the elevator is very fast. I would definitely consider this hotel for my next trip, just make sure to book pool/garden view or villa.

At first we were given a room in the last building which was not good - quite a walk from the beach, very basic interior, the sink did not work well however because of the 24/7 noise in a neighbour room we were moved to another building with the pool view (thanks to the staff) which was much better but still some things to mention: 1. Mold smell. It could be due to the end of the rain season because it became better in a few days. 2. The air conditioner is leaking heavily if you try to set something less than 23, make sure you don't leave your stuff under it. 3. Broken Wifi - I was able to use it like 3 times, all other times it's connected but no Internet or extremely slow. 4. No minibar in the room but it looks it's common in Phuket now.

Many thanks to the staff that provided me with a room that was connected to the next room with an inside door. That allowed me to stay together with my family, but have my own space at the same time :) Things to mention: 1) Great location of the hotel - very close to the beach, right across the road. The traffic was quite heavy, but during evening hours the staff regulates it. Hotel is located close to food places and fruit tents. 2) Spatial pool areas, great for chill time! 3) Nice green territory with local cats :) 4) Air conditioning and daily water supply. 5) Shower towels, changeable beach towels. Overall, it is a good place to stay if you want to combine beach vacation with guided tours.

The hotel seems a little outdated. There were minor things that needed fixing: locker of my room was working really badly when using the key and air conditioning was working with only one temperature that was too cold. Very poor room wi-fi.

Very close to karon beach. Close walking distance to kata and street food places in karon. Great selection of pools and the swim up bar was reasonably priced with drinks. Good selection at buffet breakfast. If booking tours then book with hotel as we got much cheaper prices compared to using outside agencies. Staff were extremely helpful. Recommend doing early morning tours to avoid crowds.

We first booked a standard room - I don't recommended this as bathroom is small and the water took ages to drain in shower. We upgraded to villa and it was really nice - big rooms and big bathroom.

The staff are all lovely. My son loved to find the hotel cat every day for a pat. The restaurant is good, although I feel that some of the breakfast items could be more covered/colder. The location was good for little walks and is right opposite the beach. We could walk to the dinosaur restaurant easily. Our room/villa was a good size with everything we needed. The bath tub in the entry patio area was a nice touch. Shower pressure was good too. The pools are great. The swim up bar pool wasn't open, but there were 3 others to use which were great.

If I had to find fault is that I booked a room specifically with 2 proper beds (1 double, 1 single), but we got one with 1 double and a floor fold out bed. This wouldn't usually be a problem, but we aren't travelling as a couple with a child, we are 2 adults and a child. So the double bed was for 1 adult and the child and the other bed was for the other adult. To have an adult on a fold out sofa isn't ideal, especially because that's grandma's bed. We shuffled and made it work, and we really enjoyed our stay regardless. We'd stay here again.

Excellent location. Easy to walk to Kata beach and easy to Karon centre. Hotel is right opposite the beach. The pools were excellent; very clean and well maintained. 4 pool areas and we loved the swim up bar. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were lovely and very helpful.

1. The rooms were very dark: solution - use LED lighting. 2. Some rooms smell damp which we know is common in this part of the world: Solution - install extractor fans in the bathrooms. 3. Smoking is allowed around the pool (yuk). In fact it is positively encouraged with ashtrays on every table: Solution: have designated smoking areas and ban smoking next to the pool.

Phuket Island View. Huge resort. Two huge pools. There's a 3rd but was being refurbished. We has deluxe pool view room. Nice small balcony with table and 2 chairs. Room good size. Air conditioner good. Shower pressure good with hot water. Breakfast was very good. Big selection. Plenty of food. Half price cocktails in restaurant early evening. Directly across from beach for great swimming. Easy to get transport from hotel.

Rooms were cleaned daily but could be cleaner. The beds were really hard...but surprisingly we slept alright.

The location of the hotel is very good, just across the road is the beach by the sea and it only took 2 minutes from our room to the beach. The breakfast was also ok, it would have been perfect if we could have offered some noodles. We've been to different parts of Thailand 4 times now and this hotel is supposed to be the best value for money and highly recommended. There are two very good restaurants near the hotel, one is a short walk from the beach, about ten minutes, called On the rock, by the sea, with a very nice environment. Another is the hotel out of the left hand side, about 100 meters walk location, there is a very small restaurant, called Mounty seafood, the food is very fresh, is the best pineapple we have ever eaten in Thailand fried vegetables, shrimp is also very fresh, reasonably priced. Also, between the hotel and Mounty seafood, there is a fruit store with fresh fruit and freshly squeezed juice, which we went to every day. The lady in the corner of the hotel lobby where we could book our sea trip was very warm and friendly and gave us a lot of help. She helped us with our itinerary and gave us a lot of valuable advice, helped us call a car to the airport, and didn't forget to give us wet wipes before we got in the car. I hope to see her again on our next visit to Phuket.

A guest brought his dog down to the hotel's internal pool, which was very unsanitary, and the waiter at the poolside bar saw it and ignored it.

Good hotel for the price. No major disadvantages. Breakfast could be improved. Very good location. Just beside the beach. Well located restaurant. For travelers spending most of their time out, nothing more is needed.

Breakfast was the same everyday and quality of food was under average in my opinions. Many popular dishes (from offered), especially pastries, juices, fruit etc was gone very quick and weren't refill. Little choice of bread. Very little selection of sausage, ham or cheese (often one each).

Great location opposite beach Karon Beach, restaurants and shops very close by and then only a short walk to Kata Beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was nice with an egg station and hot dishes that changed daily along with beautiful fruit and all the usuals. Pool and pool bar was great, the resort is being renovated in sections, while being respectful to guests.

The resort has fabulous amenities - multiple swim pools, a big breakfast buffet, two onsite restaurants, and spacious rooms. Everything is cleaned to a very high standard and the service is excellent. Friendly and accommodating staff all over the resort. The location is brilliant between Kata and Karon towns - with night markets and a huge amount of restaurants to choose from.

One thing to note: the resort was undergoing lots of maintenance before the high season. While the noise was well concealed, if this might be a deterrent for you, then check with the hotel directly beforehand.
