The highlight of our stay was definitely the room — absolutely 10 out of 10! Stepping right out of the room and directly into the pool area was a fantastic experience. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Our kids had a blast, spending most of their time splashing around in the pool — they truly enjoyed it the most. Breakfast was also a treat, with an egg station and a nice selection of fresh fruits and pastries to start the day.

At times, the pool wasn’t cleaned properly — grass cuttings often fell directly into the water, and no one seemed to be around to clean up after the lawn was mowed. The wall tiles around the pool also looked a bit worn, though that wasn’t a major issue. The resort is located a little away from the main road, so tuk-tuks are hard to find. However, this distance does offer a peaceful atmosphere, making it ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the market.

We read the reviews very carefully before choosing this hotel . A bit worried by the few negative reviews which we now feel were greatly exaggerated. Hotel is not brand new but is not run down. Given the size of the pool area there are some loose tiles which you can find if you look closely and a few of the paving slabs are cracked. We got an upgrade to a junior suite which was very spacious. We actually had two separate bathrooms, a kitchenette cum sitting area plus the bedroom with ensuite. The room had all the usual amenities and was very comfortable. The wardrobe even had proper coat hangers. I liked the pool arrangement where they blend in to the hotel rather than a single pool in the middle. Breakfast was good with an egg station making fresh omelettes on demand. Staff we all very helpful and polite as is normal in Thailand. Hotel even supplies umbrellas in case of rain. Location about 400m to the beach and slightly less to several excellent restaurants. Limited shuttle service for those not wanting to walk to town.

We had to pay a 1000 baht refundable security deposit. The hotel is very popular with Russians who all seem to smoke so it is more a deterrent to stop smoking in the rooms I think. No problem getting our money back when we left as we don't smoke. Despite lots of blank walls there are no hooks to hang towels etc. Although breakfast was good would become repetitive if staying longer than one week.

Size of the room is great. Two bathrooms is definetly a big plus. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Cleaned the room very thouroughly.

Sometimes cars of other guests were parked chaotically leaving very tight spaces for other cars to come through. The breakfast could be a bit more varied. More fruits probably. Muesli with some nuts and dried fruits also would be welcome.

The property was very comfortable and relaxing. I really enjoyed the spaciousness of the rooms, the quiet atmosphere, and the extra touches added. The staff were beyond helpful and kind. The services they provided my family with made all the difference. This was the second time we stayed on this resort, and despite it being an older resort with small inconvenient quarks, we will book with them again!

The only issue that we had was that some of the fixtures in the room were not working or broken. The kitchen seemed to be the area where this was most noticeable - loose taps and refridgerator panels. The resort did apologize and comped us meals to make up for this.

It was away from Centre of Karon, quite area, good breakfast, comfortable room, nice staff, only 12 minutes walk to the beach, there's a kids club, big pool

Breakfast should be till 10.30am not 10am,when your on holidays you want to relax not wake up early to have the breakfast on holidays, I stayed in Baan Sailom Hotel Phuket for 12nights before I checked in phunawa Resort Phuket and there breakfast is till 11am.its a good time

Great resort! The staff were helpful and let us check in early after traveling on an overnight bus and being exhausted. We loved the room, we got free coffee, tea and water daily. The bed was very big and comfortable. Breakfast was good, buffet style with slight changes daily (eg chips one day, mash the next). The pool was nice and big, the outdoor area rarely got busy and we often had it to ourselves, despite being there over Christmas and New year. The location was good as it's a short walk down to the town.

We had a fantastic stay at phunawa Resort in Phuket. The pool was stunning, and the staff were always kind, helpful, and welcoming. Perfect location for both relaxation and exploring Phuket. Truly a wonderful experience – we would love to come back!

We didn’t love the distance from the city center.

I loved the very efficient and homely environment of the resort. Ofcourse all facilities were as per our expectation. The attitiude of the staff, in particular the manager Minni and her colleagues Kang and Ming, was exceptional. I really appreciate the fact that Minni goes out of her way to ensure a very enjoyable stay for her guests. I look forward to visit them again!

The bar could have been open for longer hours since guests may expect to wind down with few drinks and then go to sleep.

The staff was very kind. The location is good, not too far from the beach and main streets. Our apartment was very spacious and very convenient for our family with two children.

The only thing was the smell of garbage from somewhere near the hotel. Please notice that it wasn't constant but sometimes, depending on the direction of the wind, we could feel it quite bad.

Staff was very friendly and helpful reception staff Milly and Gift helped out with all sort of things during entire two weeks stay. Very efficient service and professional approach from them. Driver who took care of airport pick up and drop off treating you so great he is very helpful, polite and was making sure we fell very welcome. Thank you team!
