The Hotel is situated directly on Karon beach and his its own private section on the beach - away from busy crowds. The property itself is beautiful with a large swimming pool, lazy river, water slides, diving pool and offers spectacular beachfront views. We had a beach facing room that offered stunning ocean views and the room itself was large, spacious, comfortable and clean. The property is approx a 15 minute drive from central Patong which allowed us to pursue the vast majority of Phuket's activities quickly and efficiently.

Although the property itself is spectacular there were several factors that could have been improved. The service was good by Phuket standards (where service as a whole is notoriously poor), however was nowhere near the international standards you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The Hotel also only permits 3 bottles of drinking water per person in your room per day - an odd policy given that this is one of the pricier properties in Phuket where you would expect to have no restrictions on drinking water in your room throughout the stay. The Hotel also attempts to charge a ludicrous damage deposit fee of 2,000 baht (GBP £50) per night upon check-in, so if your stay is upwards of a week this leads to a significant sum!

was the most expensive hotel for food and drinks we stopped in in Thailand. the adults only pool was a bit shabby. we had to wait 3 hours for our room (we got a free meal for the hassle)

Great resort, many amenities and the staff is very helpful. The choice of food is excellent and the property is always clean.

The beach was very dirty with rubbish everywhere and there was constantly a sewage smell around the resort. As well there was lots of repair work happening in the room beside us which made so much noise and smoke. This was very annoying and they could have waited to have the very next rooms vacant before engaging such big renovation!

Everything was really good, we really loved our room with the hot tub on balcony overlooking the pool and far distance ocean view- spectacular views. We stayed in a spa deluxe with a family of 4 2 adults and 2 children baby and a 9year old. Beds are huge think super king so we shared with our 9year old and our baby had a good sized cot with the side that comes down for easy open access. This was great for getting my baby in and out of her cot Food- we only had breakfast included- was a good variety of breakfast but not the best. Lunch- we had at the restaurants at resort, it was expensive, so do get half board. The Spa was amazing at the resort a lot more expensive than what you will get in Patong or out of the resort but we needed convenience with small children as my husband I took turns. The kids club- was brilliant! They had a games room and toddlers room with lots of fun toys, slide, ball pit cars to ride on, kitchenettes and lots more. So fun for all ages. Good safety precautions- the main doors were locked at all times and a staff member will only open to allow one to enter or leave. We went in December Xmas period- we were not bitten at all in the resort we also travelled a lot to patong and did not get bitten there either. But do take your mosquito repellent wipes and sprays. Great help.

The pool was excellent. The water slides made the stay for us.

Our room was upgrade due to overselling the room type we booked. The first room was too small for 3 and we had to move to the correct room the 2nd night. The rooms were a little tired.

Property is beautiful. Right on the beach. (I believe it’s probably the entirety of this region of the world but the garbage rides in on the high tide and the beach is covered in trash as the tide recedes). The pools and lazy river are immaculate and beautiful.

Prices were a bit high, no “to go” cups for the morning breakfast coffee.

1. Checkin experience was disappointing - staff need better training. Took an hour! 2. Room interiors look dated and could do with renovation. 3. Open bathroom design (with sliding wooden doors) is not suitable as a family room. 4. Room service was inconsistent. On one day it took about 3 hours to deliver food - the duty manager apologised and offered a discounted price, but children fell asleep without dinner that night.

Beach was glorious, clear water, clean beach, soft sand. Pool facilities were fun and varied, with great children's activities provided by two hosts who organised games and fun. Room was functional and big. I did not like the balcony aspects of the surrounding rooms because many of the guests had no consideration for other guests, swimming in their pools and having parties on their outside space often til 2 and 3 a.m., and there was little sound attenuation into the bedrooms.

I thought the majority of guests were unfriendly and inconsiderate. Many people used their hands to grab food at the buffet breakfast instead of the implements provided. Yes, it would be difficult to control people who are not well mannered, but one would have thought the huge cost of this family property would attract a more educated clientele.

Lovely beachfront resort in a quiet area. Facilities were great we really loved the day spa and adults only pool. The staff were courteous throughout the resort. We ate at Coast & Mare restaurants and the food was good. We also had the Christmas Day brunch which was really good with a good selection of options. Special shout out to staff member named O who was at the pool, he was very warm & friendly a credit to the resort! We had the room with the pool, which was lovely, however the pool was pretty chilly most of the time as it wasn't in the sun - minor issue we still used it!

Beach bar wasn't open when we were there which was disappointing.

Perfect base for us. I love the exclusivity of this resort. It was the perfect location for us. We are right on Karon Beach and not too far from the busy part (Patong). We spend the whole day on the pool, beach, and in the resort. When we go out at night time for dinner and drinks, we are not too far from Patong. We can also go to Karon for drinks and nice massage. The hotel has 24 hour gym which is good if you want an early workout or late night workout. What we love the most about the resort are the pool amenities and the lazy river. It kept us and our little ones busy. The staff are all friendly and polite. The housekeepers are lovely as well.

The only thing that bothered us is the accessibility of the rooms. There’s a lot of stairs just to go up to our room. Although there is an elevator, it is still further away from our room. It was manageable, but could be quite a challenge if you are travelling with elderlies and those who have accessibility problems. Other than that, this resort was perfect for us! Would love to stay here again!!!
