I disagree with the negative reviews, as I believe this hotel is highly underrated. Secret Cliff Resort is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful hotels in Phuket within this price range. The resort offers beautiful, clean, and comfortable rooms located in guesthouses, each containing two separate rooms. These rooms come with outdoor terraces that provide stunning views of the sea and lush, jungle-like gardens surrounding the houses. The WiFi is decent, and the breakfast is far better than what you’d typically find in an average Phuket hotel. Plus, the breakfast room and bar offer unforgettable views. One of the highlights of this resort is its signature swimming pool. When you visit, don’t forget to bring your phone or camera—you’ll definitely want to capture the breathtaking scenery. Also, they have mini-gym for those who need it during vacation and parking for those who drive. The only thing to keep in mind is the terrain. The entire hotel complex is built on very steep hills, so if you have mobility issues, you may face some challenges (but don’t worry—the hotel team will transport you and your luggage in a mini car, which is very convenient.) Give them a try! Highly recommended!

A very good hotel! The rating is not very high, but out of the four top-rated hotels, this one turned out to be the best. The breakfast was better than in other hotels, the views were simply stunning, and there was a heated pool. Patong, Karon Beach, and a secret beach with turquoise water—almost like the Similan Islands—are just a 10-minute walk away. The view from the balcony is amazing. The staff is very friendly. I give this hotel the highest rating and will definitely stay here again next time!

It is NOT the hotel's fault and - respect for the exception - : loud Russian tourists - boring breakfast after 3/4 days, because there were sausages and eggs only according to European taste. (in addition to many Thai ones, and reach salads and fruits offer, that is also true). - first nite booked @Oceanview room here on Booking, but no info we found about , that this type room is looking at a terribly noisy 4-lane main road. TIM helped in room change / upgrade, - the view from the Villa is limited to the Sea because the trees have grown and are not cut back. - fun in rooms would be great, A/C above the bed is unpleasant

The view from the room and from restaurant was amazing. Definitely worth it. The infinity pool was really beautiful too.

Free shuttle is not available so get ready to spend at least 200/300 bath every time you need to go anywhere, even though it's a 3 minutes drive. And from that position you need definitely the car to move around. I honestly thought shuttle was available or I would never pick this hotel. It wasn't the cleanest I have been either.

Absolutely gorgeous. Suits the romantic, adventurous couple. Secret sunset. Loved the views, walks, rocks and morning views from breakfast. Staff were friendly and kind.

Two things, but not biggies for me, however can see how these could be serious issues for others. (1) Crossing the road at peak hours better if avoided, still I would prefer to be located on the ‘road side’ of the resort (better views, especially from the pool); and (2) beach at resort is not for swimming, snorkelling yes. This is the ideal place to relax for a few nights after experiencing the hustle and bustle of Patong and surroundings. Loved it.

Price vs what you get. The rooms were available at 60% of the prices of similar hotels. View is indeed nice, not as good as it is shown in the pictures (depends how n the room you get, for us, we could see the sea but majority view was the reception building) but still good enough, sunset was pretty good.

Check in process is very slow, seems like their tech is from 20 century, so much paper work. And most employees couldn’t speak English.

our room was on the top of a hill not too close to the main hotel so we would have to walk down the hill and up again making things not too easy especially for me that had hurt my leg and going up a hill was very hard

Very large room and bathroom with a beautiful view to the Ocean. The entire location is very green, fact which creates a very romantic and relaxed atmosphere. It is located between Karon beach and Patong (5-10minutes by scooter) The view from the restaurant is wonderful.

The breakfast was very poor in options in terms of european food. Only the basic as eggs, milk, yoghurt, instead they had Thai food (as rice, noodles) for the people who can it this for breakfast. The location is 2km far from the beach, even if you can see the Ocean from the complex. In order to get at the beach a scooter or a car is needed, even if on booking it says that is 300m from the beach, you can not walk until there :( and the only option to eat nearby is the restaurant of the hotel.

Food did not disappoint. Great flavours from every meal we had at the restaurant. Cocktails were great. New Years eve was entertaining 🎉 and great view of Karon beach fireworks 🎇

The main road is really busy if you are staying in rooms on the cliff side opposite the rest of the resort (reception, restaurant). The food in the restaurant was slow but worth the wait, great flavours.
