The view from the villa was lovely. Such a quiet spot, the only thing you could hear was the wildlife an the ocean. There's a convenient track that drops you right into Karon beach.

Having someone at the hotel sell us a bike rental without warning us regarding the paperwork we needed, only for us to be fined by police check-point, and not be refunded for three days we did not use the bike. I expect that to happen in the town, but NOT in the Hotel we're staying out. Felt a bit gross.

We rested at the hotel for 8 days, after an intense wedding in Australia Our villa had a terrace and had a beautiful view of the ocean , all around it was quiet and peaceful, only the sounds of birds and insects. The room is spacious with a large bed, the bathroom is simple and comfortable. The hotel has two swimming pools, which are refreshing on a hot day. The hotel staff is very professional and helpful, 10*. We take advantage of the trips offered to us around the island of Phuket, which were organized for us by the hotel employee (thanks to her). Would stay again and recommend to your family and friends

Friendly staff, beautiful views and delicious breakfast.

The location on the cliff makes it hard to get to the beach (you can rely on a shuttle at limited times or walk down a jungle path for 10mins, which is not ideal if you are not fit). The gate for the path closes at 6pm so the only way back is via taxi or Tuk tuk. We found it to be a bit too far away from all the shops and restaurants

Peaceful location. Staff always smiling and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. We were upgraded to a spa room but it was too hot to use it.....

As it is not close to the centre of Karon you always have to use a taxi or tuk tuk which is additional expense. Walking is not an option. The resort is dated and needs an uplift. The included breakfast was good but could be better for the cost of your stay. The swimming pool area needs an update especially if the resort is full. The drinks were expensive considering you are adding taxes and other service charges.

The location is good. Quiet place with excellent sea view. Centara Villa is supported by Centara Grand Hotel in using their facilities. That makes the Centara Villa value for money.

Improve room facilities, especially main door. Also water leaked in bathroom from roof. Although not significant but should take care off. Good morning

The villa is big enough. We had an ocean view, which was spectacular and had a view on all Karon beach. The pool area is nice and very relaxing, fills like a tropical garden. The breakfast was also good, although it has the same variety every day. The location is also great if you rent a bike, otherwise you have to take a tuktuk for 200 bht per person every time you want to go to the Karon or Patong city. The personnel is very helpful and smiling and made our stay very enjoyable.

You should take into account your personal physical shape as the resort is located on the hill and has a lot of stairs in order to move from one place to another.

Was lucky to receive a free upgrade so my thoughts are slightly skewed. Everything was excellent and it was unfortunate that I could not extend another night.

The only downside was the cost of extending for an additional night. The cost of one extra night would have been over half what I'd already paid for the previous 3, even taking the room upgrade into account.

Amazing staff who just couldn't do enough for us! Special mention to reception, the drivers of the buggy and the restaurant staff. The views were amazing, and we loved our dinners at the Cliff Restaurant...fresh, authentic flavours, and the chefs had no issues in amending their dishes to suit my dietary requirements.

The location is not suited to older people or those with disabilities. Too hilly and uneven paths to walk to the pools or to the beach. (The pools are lovely, though.) Getting into the back of the buggy was a physical feat, too.

We loved the views from just about anywhere on the property and the lush greenery that surrounded everything. The staff was helpful and friendly, they were the best. The pool areas were fabulous and cool, shaded by the trees.

My only minor complaint is the verticality of the property, but if you were young and buffed, or were willing to wait for the tuck tuck, which we did, there were no problems. The view, drinks, and dining from the top were fabulous. 

The private pool villa comes with a surprisingly large and clean pool and additional private outdoor space to relax and enjoy (two sun loungers plus parasol, two chairs and small table). The view from our villa was fantastic, which may be the luck of the draw because we noticed other pool villas were situated closer to the spa building. The staff are very friendly and always do their best even with language barriers. Housekeeping came daily on a reliable schedule and would also return at a later time if the initial visit was not at the right moment. They would also be willing to provide additional clean towels on request. Great water pressure in the shower. Handy to have the public pathway to the beach. Although I did not use the hotel pool, it looked very clean, calm, and inviting from what I could see.

The hotel is perhaps a little bit dated and this can be seen in some spots, but generally it is in good shape for a 4 star property in Thailand. For example, the room finishes are quite basic and the terrace lounge chairs had seen better times. The reception area as well as the Cliff restaurant were not very inviting and lacked some ambiance however the meal I had there was good.
