Our stay at Ala Stone Hotel has truly been an unforgettable experience. From the very beginning, we felt welcomed in a warm and peaceful environment—perfect for relaxing and enjoying Göreme. The facilities are comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home. However, what truly made our visit special was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. We would especially like to thank Aziz and his colleague, who were always attentive, helpful, and incredibly kind. Their friendly and caring attitude made our stay even more enjoyable and smooth. If we ever return to Göreme, we will definitely stay at Ala Stone Hotel again. I think the general standard of accommodation in Goreme is pretty high but this meets the high standard - very comfy, warm and welcoming. The location is right on the edge of town so you get more unencumbered views than from elsewhere including from the roof terrace. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and when we arrived on a very early bus they offered us breakfast, which is a big buffet. It has two lovely cats who were very friendly!

The room would benefit from some slightly brighter lights so that you can see properly during the day! And after 5 days the breakfast gets a bit samey, but this isn't much of an issue!

I had a wonderful time at the Ala Stone Hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. The employees were always ready to assist with recommendations for excursions or help with reservations, and they catered to all my needs. The service was consistently excellent, and you can tell that genuine hospitality is a priority here. The hotel is ideally located to explore the beauty of Cappadocia. The main attractions are easily accessible, yet the hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere that provides the perfect retreat after a long day of exploration. The assistance with organizing tours was especially helpful and made my stay even more enjoyable.

It's located near the town center, the view around the hotel is quite quaint and beautiful. Staffs are super friendly and nice. They took care of me with genuine kindness. We accidentally missed a night bus and I asked the staff if we can extend one more night, the room was fully ready when we finally got back to the hotel and I felt appreciative for their service. The staff guy also gave us nice information about touristic sights near the town. Even asking him for a car rental service and he was ready to call a person for us. Room is beautiful. Tidy, clean and spacious. it's nice to look at the window as hot air balloons rise up each morning. Breakfast is authentic, I enjoyed it so much and could say that it was one of my fav breakfast in my turkey trip.

We had a wonderful stay at Ala stone. -The staff helped us book airport transfer and hot air balloon ride before we arrived in cappadocia and the prices they offered was good -All the staff were friendly and very helpful whenever we have any queries with smiles. Especially Aziz and Abdullah -The breakfast had a selection of turkish dishes and continental selections -View from the terrace provides amazing view of hot air balloons in the morning and wonderful scene during sunset -The room was big and had good amenities ( towels and showergel ) and they offer room service everyday -I recommend booking the tours through hotel as they offer good prices and Aziz helps arrange everything for you

The people that run this hotel are so friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and help. They helped with my washing and dried my clothes when I got stuck in the rain, and they helped me to rebook my hot air balloon trip when mine was cancelled. The breakfast is a wide spread of Turkish food. The location from the balcony is perfect to see the hot air balloons fly over at sunrise and the hotel is only a 10 minute walk into town

The bed was not very comfortable There were flies flying around the room The door from my room to the terrace was broken and did not lock

If you are looking for a hotel to relax, this is the place. Close enough to Goreme town centre but far enough to have peace and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection, the room service option was nice too. The room was very cozy and I could watch the balloons from my window every morning. You can also see the balloons from the terrace. Overall great experience, would recommend!

You can hear everything and everyone inside and outside the hotel room but nothing unbearable.

This hotel is really beautiful and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. They serve a good breakfast. We were lucky to see hot air balloons right from our hotel window on the first morning. They also have a terrace where you can enjoy the balloon view. The valley, which is a 15-minute walk away, is the best place to see the balloons. The hotel is just a 10-minute away from the main area. You can get a shared shuttle or private taxi from the airport to the hotel easily. On the day we checked out, the hotel owner even gave us a ride to the bus station, which was very nice of them.

The bathroom has a slight odor because it's closed and lacks adequate ventilation but can be managed with the freshener which we took from reception and it is expected in stone/cave hotel

The room was big enough and cozy. Comfy beds. A friendly cat working at the reception took our heart. :) Location is not super central, but still everything is in a walking distance, even when you walk with children as we did. Nice location if you plan to trek a lot. There was much space for parking right by the hotel. Quick wifi. An electric kettle and a fridge in the room. There is a nice terrace in the hotel, must be really cool to watch air balloons, but we were not lucky enough to see them because the flights were cancelled due to bad weather. Late check-in. We came super late, but the guy at the reception was still nice and managed to smile at this time of the night :) Buffet breakfast was ok, although some omelet options and meat would be a bonus.

There was no hot water in the shower when we came, although there were no problems afterwards during our stay, so may be it happens only very late in the night (around 3 o'clock). At 4.30 a prayer at a mosque nearby starts, which waked me up both nights, but it didn't last long :)
