I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and it was my most wonderful stay I have ever had in Cappadocia. I tried many many hotels in Cappadocia as I come here often and Sobek Stone House tops them all. The second you step in it leaves you in awe, the interior design of the hotel and rooms is stunning down to the details, the pool and breakfast area is aboslutely beautiful. Breakfast is extremely diverse and fresh. All workers and the hotel owner herself are wonderful and friendly. I will definitely stay at Sobek Stone again in the future.

I stayed in 3 different hotels as my plans were last minute and limited availability but this place was my absolute favourite. The staff went beyond call of duty to assist me. I was communicating with them on whatsapp regarding my arrival as I had some delays , they were very promt . I was welcomed by Tunahan when I arrived very late , his first concern was if I had my dinner. He quickly assisted me to order food from outside as kitchen was closed , I had the smoothest check-in and all information. I was guided to a beautiful room, clean and comfy bed. My morning view was just gorgeous and an amazing breakfast.Even my tour was arranged by them which was very professionally organised compared to feedback I received from other hotel travellers. In the morning I met Damla she was very happy to see me as she assisted me on whatsapp for my arrival. I stayed only 1 night at Sobek , on my departure date from Cappadocia I was very upset that I couldn't make it to my flight without hesitation I contacted Sobek Hotel and Damla arranged my transport from airport so I can stay to have lunch at their restaurant until my next flight.I was welcomed again by Damla with a cup of turkish tea and a warm hug that instantly shifted my mood. As soon as I told them about my flight situation they were very compassionate and did everything to cheer me up . I had an Amazing food and their staff Chala brought me a delicious meal with a smile to cheer me up and the gentleman who made me perfect cup of Turkish coffee.Their manager was the sweetest lady and very helpful, they have a wonderful team. Due to my situation they made sure I reached my destination safely and happy. I have travelled 30 countries but this hotel tops it all.

I wish I had stayed in Sobek my entire trip.

We loved the room and the way the hotel is setup, it is not too big. The hotel staff are very nice and friendly, we love the interior of the hotel and the the way it leads out to the pool with a beautiful view.

Nice pool (in sun), good breakfast and reaaonably (tourist) priced dinner. Family room is great- large main room with queen/king bed and a small side room with 2 single beds.

We were only there for 2 nights and enjoyed being on the outskirts of town but could be annoying to have to go to town for dinner. We drove but it was only about 10mins walk - although the summer heat outside when we were there was sniffling.

My stay at Sobek stone house was unforgottable. SSH made my stay at Gorëme like a fairy tale. The view at 5am with the balloon from the terrace, the swimming pool was like a dream!!! The breaksfast was excellent, you will eat nothing until the dinner hhhh. The Hotel is built so that each room have a wonderful view, and our room was biiig and nicely adjanced. I prefer to stay at stone hotzl rather than a cave to avoid humidity and narrow streets especially for cars and traffic. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS WOOOONNNNDERFUL HOTEL !!!! SSH THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE HELP YOU PROVIDE US TO MAKE OUR STAY AT CAPPADOCIA A DREAM COME TRUE.

Nothing at all!

Good location outside of goreme ( which is very dusty due to road works ). Well placed if you want to see the balloons take off in the morning. Also has a pool ( though the pictures may be misleading as to the actual size )

Very poor soundproofing. You could hear every step of the person above you, as well as noise coming from the water pipes and drain. Only some of the staff spoke a decent level of English. Sadly, some couldn't even take a dinner order correctly. Also the breakfast was unchanged for the 6 days we stayed there. There was only one kind of meat product, a salami of dubios colour.

The hotel is new, very clean and has a nice flair due to well thought through decoration and architecture. We chose it mainly because of the pool as we visited in August. The view is really nice from most of the rooms. The most special part about this place was receptionist Beste. She was very competent, helpful and kind. She was so attentive, open-minded and honest that we were always sure we could rely on her.

We didn't like the kind of clients that were attracted by the hotel's concept. Larger travel groups and all-inclusive-travellers. Second were mostly big families with bad manners. The beds are a bit short for people taller than 1,65.

Such a lovely hotel where you feel welcomed 100% And we woke up to see balloons and it was from all the sides, like fairytale ❤️ I booked suite with terrace and it was just wow Hotel is not super modern and fancy but with spirit , where you feel good :)

It was a trip with the whole new level. Just front of the Hotel you can watch every morning over 200 balloons taking of. There are several Picture taking spots were created on the Hotel rooftop, Tower lookout, Poolside, for the best view of Rose Valley's moonlike landscape. The Hotel Team very well organized, friendly, they taking time explaining all the sights on your arriving day. The manager even set down with us and explained all the wonderful trips what to do in Kappadokia. Wonderful new comfortable rooms, 2 pools, massage, tasty fresh breakfast with lots of greens, fruits, Turkisch specialities... Very friendly Team, fast service, you will feel safe and all your wishes will be taking personal that you get the best experience. Thank you Mustafa, Tony, Emrah! I will definitely come back to Sobek Hotel.

The staff were incredible. Super friendly and helpful. Recommended some sensational experiences/tours and booked them all for me without any dramas. They also shopped around for a decent hot air balloon price and didn't just jump at the first price!
